Scott's POV
"Do you like her?" Anne asked.
"Yes, I always had a crush on her." I replied with a smile on my face.
"Oh my god I am so excited to see both of you together." She shouted.
"Shhhh" I said.
Ele felt asleep in my arms. She was looking so beautiful. I wanted to kiss her so badly. But I couldn't.
Not yet.
Dan came and sat next to Ele.
"Take care of my baby sister." Dan said. He knew that I liked her.
"Always" I said and smiled at him.
She woke up and yawned.
So fucking adorable!
When she saw herself in my arms she quickly moved apart. I noticed a faint blush appeared on her cheeks.
Dan attended a phone call.
"Good news for you cupcake" he said and pinched her cheeks and was going to ruffle her hair but she stepped back.
"What?" She asked.
"Charlie and his team came here too for camping. We will meet them soon." He said and grinned.
"Yayyy" she cheered.
She looked really happy.
She took the phone and started talking and went away.
"Who is Charlie?" I asked.
"Charlie is your Sugar's childhood best friend. Except Ele we all know that he likes her." He said with a apologising look on his face.
"Is that true?" I asked.
My fists clenched. Nobody can take her away from me.
"Yes" Anne and Nick said simultaneously.
I will not let anyone come near my girl.
Elena's POV
I ate some pizza Dan brought.
"We will meet Charlie near the waterfall. Wake up early. Go to your tent and sleep early. Okay?" He said.
"Okay mom!" I said.
"Don't call me that." He said pouting at me.
"Good night Dan, I love you!" I said and hugged him.
"I love you too sis." he replied and gave me a smile.
When there was darkness in my life, Dan came to my life with a torch and led me out of that dark room.
I went inside the tent. Anne was already there.
"Hey" I sai as I sat on the ground.
"You have no time for your best friend." She said and pouted.
"Anne I am always there for you." I said and smiled at her.
"This is our tent. The blue one is of Scott and Dan, the grey one is of Nick and Ryder, the yellow one is of James and Michael." She said.
"Do you like him sugar?" She asked with a serious look on her face.
"Who?" I asked confusingly.
"I called you sugar. Obviously I am talking about Scott." She said.
"No, he's an idiot." I said looking away.
"You can tell me whenever you are sure about that. But now I am sleepy so good night" she said and pulled the chains of the sleeping bag.
"Good night cocoon." I said and laughed at her.
I tried to sleep. It was midnight and I coule not sleep. My mind was flooded with the thoughts of none other than Scott.
I went outside and sat near the lake on the grass. It was beautiful. I saw someone near the lake. He saw me and came near me.
"Sugar what are you doing here?" Scott asked looking concerned.
"I am not sleepy at all." I said.
"You are excited that your best friend is coming." He said annoyingly.
"Yes I am. But that's not the reason." I said.
"What are you thinking about?" He asked.
"A guy" I said and smiled.
"Boy?" He asked angrily.
I don't know why he was angry.
"I guess it's story time." I said.
"I like stories, but it should be-" he said.
"There was a boy in my kindergarten school. He helped me with everything and we played but he went away one day. At least he should have told me good-bye. I wanna see him again. I even gave him my scarf. I just suddenly remembered him." I said.
"He still has your scarf." He said and smiled at me.
"How do you know?" I asked him confusingly.
"Is this the scarf you gave him?" He asked.
"Scott! Oh my god." I said and hugged him. He hugged me back.
"I am really disappointed. You really didn't remember my name." He said.
"You kept this scarf with you, why?" I asked.
"I thought someday you'll remember me. I thought you had a memory loss." He teased. I slapped his arms. He started tickling me.
"Stop, you idiot!" I shouted.
"Shhhh everyone's sleeping." He said. Then he sat near me.
For few minutes we enjoyed the view and then we went back to our tents.
Next morning I woke up. I wore a denim shorts and shirt and a pair of sneakers.
"It will take us only half and hour to reach the waterfall only if someone didn't get lost. Ele please choose a good partner. I don't want my sister to be the meal of some animal." Dan said.
"She'll go with me." Scott said.
"There are animals here?" Nick asked.
"Yes" Dan said.
"Tiger?" he asked.
"Yes" Dan replied.
"Snakes?" He asked.
"Yes" he replied.
"A lizard is enough to scare him." I said.
"No, I am not scared at all." He said.
"Oh my god there is a lizard on your head." Michael shouted.
"Where where?" He asked and rubbed his head.
We all laughed hysterically.
"I hate you all." He shouted.
"But we love you." I said.
We all started walking. I was with Scott.
"Wait!" Scott yelled.
I scanned my environment for any kind of danger.
"What?" I asked.
"Wait" he said and lifted me in a bridal style. There was a big branch of a tree. He made me sit there and then he came sat near me too.
"Why you are being so nice? When we were kids you threw a bundle of leaves at me. Remember?" I asked and smiled at the sudden remeberance of that memory.
"I can do that again but your brother will kill me." He said.
We both laughed.
15 minutes later
Soon we reached near the waterfall and I saw Charles. I jumped on him.
"Hey you monkey. What are you doing" He said and laughed.
"Trying to kill my best friend." I said and laughed.
"How are you candy?" He asked me with a smile.
He called me candy. The first time when we met, Charlie was a loner, he stayed all alone. Nobody played with him. One day I gave him my candy and we became friends. Its weird.
And now puberty hit him hard, not in my case though. In my case it didn't even touch me. Anyways, now he can have all the girls he want. Girls drool over him.
Anyways why everybody calls me something related to sweet.
Cupcake, sugar and now candy.
"Stop zoning out." Charlie said waving a hand infront of my face.
"I am fine. How are you?" I asked.
"I am fine candy." He replied.
"So he's Charlie." A voice interrupted.
His eyes carried an unreadable emotion.
"Yes, my best friend." I said.
"And he is?" Charlie asked.
"Childhood friend" I said
"How come I never met him?" He asked narrowing his eyes at Scott.
"When you were gone to London, he came to our kidnergarten. The first day we met, he threw a bundle of leaves at me and I pushed him into the mud. At first I laughed but then I helped him. After that he became my friend. A very good friend." I said and laughed.
Charlie laughed at me.
"You are weird." He said.
"No, I am intelligent beyond your understanding." I said.
In Charlie's team there was his younger brother Alder who was 13 years old and Charlie's two best friends- Toby and Rock.
Did I ever mentioned that Rock was the only brother of Nick? He lived in London.
"Rock is going back." He said.
"Why?" I asked.
"His mother called him. Rock and Nick both are going." He said.
"So we are 10." I said.
"Yep" he said.
"Hello love" Alder said.
Irritating element. I hate him.
He's Charlie's brother.
"Hello" I said annoyingly.
"Did I ever mentioned you're very beautiful?" He asked.
That little kid tries to flirt with me. Seriously?
"She already knows that. Let's go." Charlie said and pulled me away.
"We are making teams of five." Dan shouted.
"The first team consists of me, Charlie, Scott, Ele and Anne and on the other team has James, Ryder, Alder, Toby and Michael." He said.
