Z POV

I shot my gun once and heard another shot. Ro body dropped to the floor and it grew quiet.
"Z come on we gotta go" Lay yelled as she tugged on my arm.
We rushed out the house and into my car and that's when I felt a instant pain on my stomach.
I know this bitch ain't shoot me...
"Z your bleeding" lay said as she lifted my shirt
"I'm good" I said starting up the car
"Your not good. You just got shoot in the stomach let me drive"
I can see the fear in her eyes.
I really didn't have the strength to fight with Lay over who's driving shit I'm shoot.
I moved over to the passenger and let Lay drive. "We're we going?"
"To the hospital"
"Lay im good" I said trying to shrug the pain off
"No. No. Your shoot.. in the stomach at that, your going to the hospital"
I just layed there. I'm in deep pain right now but ima thug this shit out.
My eyes felt heavy as Lay was driving. I was becoming dizzy and everything around my started to get fuzzy. I couldn't stay woke. As much as I tried to keep my eyes open they just kept shutting...

LAY POV
"Z try to stay woke" I kept telling Z as she began to doze off again. As much as I was telling her she just couldn't. I need her. I need her to be here with me..
"Z we almost there" I said seeing that Z was now completely unconscious
My heart was racing. please lord keep her here with me.
I pulled up to the hospital and immediately called over the doctor and they rushed to the car picking up Z out of the car and placing her onto the stretcher.
I ran to the other side of the stretcher and held onto the bar.
"Maam, we need to wait in to waiting room until one the nurses come and talk to you"
"I just need to see her, I need to be there with her" I said ignoring everything he said
"Maam please wait here we'll do everything to keep her going"
I huffed then rubbed my tremble and went to the waiting room to sit.
My mind was racing. I can't even think straight right now. Everything just happened too fast. Lord protect her and watch over her please.
I wonder if Z have family I can call or someone close to her.. I just don't know what to do right now.
I just sat there. Praying and hoping that Z is gonna be okay. I didn't even notice that I was crying. I just held my face in my palms and cried.
About 12 minutes later I heard a storm coming in the hospital.
"Yo where the fuck is she?" I heard someone screaming at a doctor.
"Sir calm down please, we'll be with you shortly"
"I'm a maam and I want to see her right now"
"Maam please just wait here for a minute we'll be back shortly"
"Mane, come on Binky" She said as she sat in the waiting room a seat crossed from mine with this other stud
"Yo I swear if Z don't make it ima kill whoever did this shit"

I starred at them trying to listen to their conversation. How does she know Z? Is this one of her fuck buddies or what? At this point I don't care I'm just glad I'm not the only one here for Z right now
"The fuck you looking at?" She asked looking at me with a mean look on her face
"My bad. I just overheard you talking about Z"
"You know Z ? How the fuck do you know Z I never seen you before" she asked narrowing her eyebrows
"She my... my friend" I said looking to the ground trying to keep my tears from coming out
"Wait, Lay?" She asked catching me off guard

"Your Lay?"
"Uh, yea?" I replied in a confused tone
"Yo Z was telling us about you. I apologize for how I just came off. You know what happened?"
Z talked to them about me? My heart felt so warm
"Yea, this one girl. Ro-" before I could finish my sentence she got up and pulled her phone out
"I swear to god if this nigga killed my best friend ima fuck her life up"
"Ro's gone. I think she's dead." I whispered
"Yo what the fuck, what the hell happened"
"I don't wanna say too much in here with all these police and people rounds, but none of this was Z fault.. Ro tried to kill me and Z shot Ro before she can shoot me. I guess when Ro was shoot, her gun went off and the bullet hit Z in the stomach. I rushed her to the hospital as fast I could" I whispered as I felt a tear leaving my eye
She sighed then came over to sit next to me then I felt her wrap her arm around me
"It's aight. Z gone be good. I know Z, she don't never give up"
I just shook my head as I cried even harder on her shoulders
"I need her"
"We all do, we're all she has. She gone be alright"
We waited in the waiting room for hours. Glo had introduced me to her and her friend Binky. They were both studs and Glo was Z's best friend. We talked about them growing up together and the shit they been threw
I wasn't sure if Glo and Binky was together or not, but they definitely have each other those "fuck me" eyes. Shit, if they are good for them. Their cute together to me.
A few minutes later the docs came in the waiting room and walked over to us "uh are you all here for Zoura, Stel?
"Yes" Glo answered "is she alright?"
"She's fine, she needs a lot of recovering so she'll be here for a few weeks. Are you guys immediately family?"
"Yes. I'm her sister. Her moms dead and her father is nowhere to be found. We're the only family she has right now"
I didn't know any of this.. I felt so bad hearing that. We're literally all she has...
"Aww I'm so sorry to hear that. Would you guys like to see her?"
"Yes please" we all blurred out
"Right this way" she said as she lead us to Z's room.
Room 209
"I just need you guys to be gentle with her and let her rest" doc stated
"Thank you" I said as the doc walked out leaving us alone with Z
"Man I can't believe this shit" Binky shook her
"Long as she's alright. I'm glad she got that bitch Ro. She was right about her all along" Glo said as she watched Z sleep
I just sat next to Z's bed and held her hand. I'm so glad she's ok. This is all my fault. I made Ro jealous and her target was me but instead Z took the bullet..
We all sat there waiting until Z wake up. It was getting later and later.
"Guess we spinning a night?" Binky asked looking at Glo "For sure, I wanna be here when she wakes" Glo responded
"What bout you Lay?"
I shook my head "yeah" .
I wasn't just gonna leave Z like this. I need to be here for her. She took a bullet for me. The least I can do for her is be here by her side.
The nurses had brought us all blankets. I laid in the Cush chair next to Z's bed and Glo and Binky Laid on the couch across the room.
We sat and watched TV for awhile. Minutes later, I looked over to Glo and Binky they were already asleep. Binky was laying in Glos arms.
They definitely a thing.
I couldn't really sleep, my mind was everywhere right now. Ro's dead, Z's shot, I was just kidnapped now we're here. This is all a lot.
I watched TV for a little longer until my eyes grew heavy and I felt my self dozing off
