Hey everyone, it's Ashley aka the author of this story. I just wanted to apologize for not updating anything in a while. I feel like I owe you guys an explanation.
The day after Christmas, my uncle was diagnosed with stage 4 lymphoma. He was transferred to a big university hospital across the state and it was touch and go for three long months. Some of you may know the feeling of watching someone go through this, and know how difficult it is. It kept spreading and spreading until it was just too much to fix. Hospice discharged him in early April and he passed away the next morning with all of us with him. I've been really struggling with it and I haven't really had the motivation to write much of anything. I have like a quarter of chapter 19 written and it's been like that for months. I don't know when I'll have it finished, but I just want you all to know I'm not giving up on this story. I love these characters and I have so much planned for them (a few plot twists coming your way, eventually). It could be tomorrow, it could be another month. I honestly don't know.
