Alice smirked.“I won’t press charges.”

Caleb smiled, pleased. He knew she was smart enough to say the right things.. Alice shoved Caleb away. “Because I didn’t press charges. Maple pressed charges against Luke for stealing trade secrets.”

Caleb’s smile faded. Alice was uncooperative. She crushed the confetti canister and coldly glared at the fans before walking away.

Caleb dismissed the fans and chased after Alice.“Stop! I said you could go!” His face was grim.“Chloe apologized. I spoke to Brother. They know they were wrong. I gave you an out, and you still want more?”
