Chapter 30: | BLEACHERS RENDEZVOUS |

VICEWords: 15586

The first period of class was in chaos. No teachers had shown up for lessons which meant that kids were everywhere but their respective positions.

Some were gathered up in small groups, probably discussing the latest trending gossip going around school. The rest were mostly roaming the hallways or doing anything that did not involve books -with the obvious exception of the nerdiest nerds and geeks. Everything was simply tumultuous.

Austin had on his headphones to block out the loud noises while he played games on his phone.

Suddenly, his phone dinged, indicating the arrival of a new text message.

Morning, sexy. Where are you? :-*  -N

It was from Noah.

Where do you think? -A

Austin replied.

You're obviously on my mind, but my mind's eye is surprisingly not good enough to see you physically:-(  -N

That's a dumb thing to say ;-)  -A

Well, I figured, if I'm gonna be gay, I could at least go for the whole package  -N

Good for you. But..are you just messing me or do you actually not know where I am?! -A

Now I wish I could sniff you..you know, like a dog  -N

I'm starting to think it's safer if I don't tell you where I am :-D  -A

I miss you. -N

I miss you too. -A

Then tell me where you are so I can kiss you... Pretty please with a cherry on top?   -N

Fine, you big baby! Tell me where I can find you.  -A

At the bleachers. Love you! <3  -N

Love you too!  -A

Austin loved texting Noah. But it did not beat those moments when they would cuddle and kiss. Noah's lips were starting to feel like a necessity. Anytime he was not kissing them, he was thinking and dreaming about how luscious, sexy and soft they were and how electrical they felt against his own.

He got up and grabbed his backpack, ready to head out when a hand was placed on his shoulder, stopping him. He turned around quickly, clearly annoyed by the distraction, and came face to face with Sam.

He was standing in front of Austin, wearing a loose-fitting grey v-neck with blue jeans. He looked like he normally did, tall and only slightly built. His hair was its usual random mess.

"Hi Austin." He greeted as if he was talking to his oldest, best friend -which he was, but the circumstances had changed drastically and Austin was having a hard time looking at him without wanting to drive a foot up where the sun don't shine.

"No." Austin said with a dead look in his eyes while shaking his head.

"What?" Sam asked dismissively.

"No." Austin repeated with the same dead look and then turned around, heading for the door.

Sam ran and stood in front of him, blocking his way, "Are you ok? Last time I saw you, you looked like you had seen a ghost and that ...shitface was not even there to help you. I had to come to your rescue but then he came in and kicked me out then took all the credit. What an assh- "

"Get out of my face." Austin said.

"I just had to check on you....remember when you and me used to tell each other literally everything?" Sam began, "Aussy, you are my best friend and more importantly, the love of my life. Understand, I had to fight for you ...I have to fight for you. Every time I look at you, I'm reminded of all those dumb things we used to do..like play video games almost every Friday evening, or that one time when we were seven and we started to compete who would get more scars on the playground because we thought it would make us real men... I stood around and watched you, ..even when you had no idea I was in love with you."

"Listen, I have somewhere of much more importance to be. I would stay and listen to you go on and on and on... but if I wanted to listen to long speeches, I would go to church."

"Please, don't walk away from me, Austin, " Sam begged, still blocking Austin's path.

"Last I checked, I was not really given an option. You didn't give me one." Austin stayed calm, not in the mood to start screaming or expressing how he really felt.

"But I'm here, now, and I can see it in your eyes...you love me back. More than what's-his-face. I can make you happy, Austin, you know I can!"

"Right now, all I want in life is to not see your face. Could you grant me that wish, oh Great one?" Austin asked sarcastically, "You know I figured, since you want to change the cosmic order of things just to get in my pants -including, but not limited to, ruining my family...you might have a little of that power stored away under your flying carpet!"

"See, I was also expecting that sarcasm from you. We know everything about each other, you can't deny it!" Sam was clearly just rumbling and trying to state the obvious.

"You wanna know where I'm going?" Austin said smugly, "I'm off to meet my boyfriend. That's right, you heard me..boyfriend , whom I love very much. We're just going to make out till our lips get sore. Did you know he is such an amazing lover? ..I mean, you have no idea. He knows how to make it both gentle and rough, at the same time...and hey, here's one thing you did not know about me, turns out, I really can't go a minute without him!"

Sam's face looked like it had been doused in gasoline then set on fire. His neck was completely red and his eyes looked like they were ready to start shooting daggers. That was a satisfying response to Austin. The only thing that would make it better was if Sam actually exploded.

"Austin," Max appeared between them suddenly, looking at Sam sideways with disgust and annoyance. "This guy bothering you?" She was the perfect combination of scary and adorable. Sometimes she bore a disturbing resemblance to those little girls featured in horror films.

"Hey, Max!" Austin greeted, "And no, I'm fine."

"Well, we have that meeting to go to." She said.

"What meeting?" Sam scoffed.

"The one where team Naustin gather to talk about how they are the best match ever. But...you wouldn't understand, so..scram!" She dismissed him carelessly with a wave of her hand and he did not protest. Sam stomped away angrily.

"Hmmmmm.." Austin smiled humorously at her.

"What..he should thank his lucky stars that he got away unscathed." She said while hooking her arm around Austin's.

"So... I have a bone to pick with you .." Austin spoke.

"Is this about Friday?" Max asked, "I'm really sorry, Austin. I feel terrible about what I did. I was so freaking wasted, I actually had no idea what I was doing until I sobered up after I threw up all over you...gosh, what did I even drink that made me -"

"Actually, I wasn't talking about that. Although I'm gonna skin you for that...but, I was talking about that Naustin thing. Never, ever use it again!" They were walking towards the exit that led to the school bleachers.

"I know..I was so caught up in making that prick jealous that I didn't have time to come up with an awesome couple name. Don't worry, I'm working on it."

"Good," Austin said. "And now..."

"Uh-ow!" Max flinched a little and brought out her most convincing puppy eyes.

"How the hell could you break my mom's favorite vase!" Austin said with his voice an octave higher and more serious.

"Wait..what?" Max asked, looking a little taken aback.

"The vase?" Austin spoke, "You know...the one you smashed and made my mother almost kill me!"

"I don't remember that part of the story...did I, by any chance, hit my head?"

"I don't know, did you?"

"Wow..then, your party must have been awesome!" She said cheerfully.

"I hate you." Austin said when he realized she had completely forgotten the whole purpose of the conversation.

"Everyone does...and then, they don't." She was skipping a little as they walked.

"I've been meaning to ask, who is Randy?"

She stopped skipping and faced him, "How do you know that name?!" She asked, a little spooked.

"Hmmmm...boyfriend?" He asked cockily as they approached the bottom of the bleachers.

She was about to speak when Austin's phone received a text message.

I'm getting lonely :-(  -N

Austin put his phone back in his pocket and turned to Max, "I gotta go. Noah is waiting for me."

"At the football field? ..I don't see him." She asked.

"Nope," he popped the 'p'. "Up there." Austin pointed to the top of the bleachers, where Noah sat.

He looked gorgeous illuminated in the mid morning sunlight and his tight, red shirt hugged his impressive muscles just right. Austin found himself staring at the beautiful sight and his heart fluttered warmly. The corners of his lips immediately curved upwards in a smile of their own accord.

"Oh my god, you dirty bastard!" She shoved him playfully, "You are about to get your freak on under the bleachers...wow, Noah is so spontaneous and dirty and ..I just wanna kill you so I can be you instead!" She squealed like a mouse that got stepped on.

"Ok, first of all, it's on the bleachers...not under."Austin snickered.

"Oh, please. You actually think there's a difference?!..wherever it is, you know Noah is gonna make it good!"

"Slow down, we're not getting anything on!" Austin denied.

"Are you seeing the same thing I'm seeing?" She asked, "Because that shirt he has on is begging to get ripped off!"

"Ok..I'm calling a timeout."

"For what..telling you the truth?..You know you want it." She winked suggestively at him.

"I better go before you start painting me a picture." Austin said sarcastically .

"Oooh, that is a great idea!" She clapped her hands together enthusiastically.

"Me leaving? I know."

"No, the picture thing. All of a sudden, I really want to do that!"

"Goodbye, weirdo!" Austin said as he walked away.

"Bye!" She called after him, "Give it to him good!"

She meant well, but sometimes it was hard to believe she was harmless.

Austin chuckled but ignored her as he walked up the stairs towards Noah -who was waiting impatiently. He smiled happily as Austin came closer and closer.

Noah did look fantastic, Max hadn't been lying about that. Noah's hair had a messy, bed hair look and it went totally amazingly with the cute green eyes and tight blood-red shirt.

"Finally, I was just about to send a search party for you!" Noah said as he got off the seat, "There's what I've been dreaming about since last night. Come here."

"I missed you too." Austin smiled while Noah brought their bodies into contact. Being pressed against that hard-as-a-rock, sexy chest was doing a lot to Austin's insides. It was like his heart was about to detonate into a sea of butterflies from the dreamy way Noah looked at him.

It was a mixture of adoration and something else that said Noah was thinking of devouring him in the best way possible.

"I was actually talking to your lips...you can go as long as they stay." Noah joked.

"Sorry to disappoint, but we're a package deal." Austin said as he tossed his bag onto the floor and slid his hands around Noah's waist, and Noah's body reacted by stiffening for a second before his muscles relaxed.

"I'm not complaining. More for me." Noah said against Austin's lips before capturing them with his own. Austin tasted of sour candy and a hint of mint. It was delicious.

Austin dug his fingers into Noah's back and his toes curled from the sweetness of the kiss and the gentleness of Noah's movements.

They pulled apart and looked into each other's eyes. Everything around was quiet and they felt like they were floating somewhere on a rainbow. There was a yellow speck in Noah's eyes which Austin had not noticed before. It looked like a star.

"Why do you have a star in your eyes?" He broke the silence by asking.

"I put it there..and then named it after you." Noah responded romantically.

"You can be so gay sometimes!" Austin chuckled and his cheeks started warming up.

"As long as it puts that gorgeous smile on your face, I would be gay as fuck." Noah smiled too, that little speck twinkling.

"If you stop, I'm gonna be really disappointed."

"Lucky for you, that's one thing you will never have to worry about."

"That's what I like to hear." Austin said then leaned in, biting Noah's lower lip gently. He pulled away for a second to look back into Noah's eyes and then connected their lips wholly. His eyelids closed the moment their lips touched and he felt Noah's hands slide up his arms and settle in his hair.

They made out until they lost track of time and needed to come up for air.

"I love you so much." Noah spoke, still panting.

"I love you, too."

"How lucky are we that we get to do whatever we want all day and no stupid classes to interrupt us!" Noah said jubilantly.

"What are you talking about?!" Austin asked, creasing his eyebrows from confusion.

"We don't have classes today!" He plopped himself on the chair, both his legs on either side so that he was seated across.

Austin sat in front of him, "Wait, what's going on?"

"Apparently, there's some impromptu teachers' ...something, so they can't attend classes today. We have a free day!"

"Wow...I need to get on the radar. I had absolutely no idea," Austin shook his head before his eyes snapped back onto Noah. "How do you know about it? Nobody else seemed to have any idea. People are in there just goofing around, waiting for teachers to arrive."

"I have contacts." Noah said with a cheeky, side smile.

"And..who might these 'contacts' be?" Austin asked playfully.

"It's a secret." He reached out and took a hold of Austin's left hand.

"Yea...sure." Austin said, clearly unconvinced.

"Hey, how about we go somewhere..just the two of us." Noah suggested.

"Somewhere...like where?"

"Like...it's hot and bright out ..we could go somewhere with water."

"Hmmm...are you trying to get me out of my clothes, mr.?"

"Ouch! ...it hurts that you would accuse me of such despicable behavior like that!" Noah put one hand over his heart, faking hurt.

"So..you don't want them off?" Austin asked, looking at Noah with the eyes that dared him to deny that little fact.

"Well, maybe a few layers.."

"Or..?"

"I prefer skin." Noah shrugged.

"What if I don't wanna put out?" Austin decided to be a little difficult.

"It's fine by me..I know how to put you in the perfect mood." Noah moved closer to Austin, put his right hand on Austin's left cheek and turned his face so that they were face to face, "Trust me, when I'm done..you're gonna want to." He fisted the hair on the back of Austin's head, running his fingers through, then brought his lips close to his earlobe, his breath fanning his ear swiftly, "Wanna find out how?" He whispered.

Austin closed his eyes and leaned into Noah's chest. He could only nod to Noah's question because his brain was starting to lose its function with Noah holding his lobe between his teeth. His pulse raced and his heart beat faster. Noah continued to move his hair away from his neck, then started brushing his lips softly along every inch of his neck.

Austin arched his back some more and snuck one hand onto Noah's abs, gripping the shirt tightly and pulled Noah even closer.

"What do you think?" Noah whispered again, his voice raspy with desire and need for Austin -whose crotch region was getting harder. He kissed along Austin's collarbone and laid one hand strongly against his lower back, then proceeded to lower him slowly on his back so that he could lie down on the bench. He got on top and placed light kisses on his throat.

Austin moaned as Noah traced his way to his lips. He parted his lips when Noah's were close enough to his. He closed his eyes, waiting for Noah to attack him with his silky, wet, full lips but the kiss never came.

He opened his eyes to find Noah smiling mischievously above him. Noah got up and sat properly on the bench, leaving a very frustrated Austin lying limply.

"You're an awful person." Austin said but Noah kept chuckling triumphantly. It was amazing how such simple things done by Noah could get him to want to drop his pants so quickly.
