"You need to sort it out with him, Ashley!" Lissa insisted as she curled my brown hair.

"No, Lissa he was being a tomato to me!"

"A Tomato?" Melanie and Melissa yelled together.

"Yes, he is a tomato!" I said and crossed my arms trying to keep my face in a serious expression.

Lissa chuckled and tugged at my hair, "Alright then. Brandon is a tomato then,"

The doorbell rang and Melanie immediately jumped up to get it. It was like she had been stung by a pin.

"I'll get it!" She yelled and scurried to the door.

I was certain Alessio was at the door. I know Melanie was well on her way to becoming Mrs Melanie Jackson. She was obsessed with him like most teenage girls were obssesed with Edward Cullen back when the twilight rage was happening. Melanie often gushed about him to me and in return, I would give her a few details about what was happening between Brandon and me.

"Hello ladies," Alessio stuck his head into the room and greeted us. Melissa gave him a big hug and I gave him an awkward side hug as I was pinned to the chair by Lissa who was still curling my hair.

"What's Brandon doing?" Lissa asked as she started on my eyes adding the eye shadow, mascara, the eyeliner and whatever else she had in her black make-up bag.

"Liddi's club," Alessio said shrugging and Lissa rolled her eyes.

"Hasn't he met enough Alison's to last a lifetime yet?" Lissa asked rolling her eyes.

"Apparently not Lis, something is bothering him hard though," Alessio looked at his phone and shook his head with worry. I could see that Alessio really cared about Brandon and that warmed my heart. It was amazing to know that Brandon had a friend that truly cared for him.

Brandon had once confided in me about the things that bothered him the most. The main one was that he could never truly know whether to trust someone or not as he couldn't be certain whether they were after his money or after his fame. Personally, I could not imagine living like him. The stress would get to me and I would probably be swollen alive by my own paranoia and anxiety.

"The cause is this thing here!" Lissa said and pointed to me.

"You?" He asked and I guiltily nodded lowering my head.

"Ohh, trouble in paradise I see," Alessio said with a wink.

"Yeah, " Lissa responded helping out the chair, "I'm dressing her to win her man back!"

"Win her man back? I thought it was just a fight?" Melanie said entering the room with a bucket of popcorn.

"It is. Lissa is being dramatic," I rolled my eyes.

"Well hope it sorts out soon, Alessio and I are heading out now don't wait up for me! We will see you there, okay! Don't chicken out!" Melanie said as she dusted her hands on her dress.

I watched her walk out the door with Alessio and then the door slammed shut signalling their departure.

"Do you think he has a thing for her?" Melanie asked as she grabbed a bunch of her popcorn and relaxed onto the bed.

I shook my head, "I don't think so."

"Why not? Melissa is gorgeous and rich and Alessio... well he is also gorgeous and rich. It kind of seems like a match made in heaven don't you think?"

I sighed and shook my head again, "They have known each other for many years, Mel. If they wanted to be together they would be. I doubt that they would wait this long to uncover the feelings they have for each other."

"Okay," Melanie said but she seemed rather unsure but didn't question further.

"He is there! Can you see him, Ash?" Lissa yelled over the loud thumping music. I followed her hand saw Brandon's dark hair facing a male bartender and shook my head.

"I'm going to him!" I yelled to her and she nodded giving me a thumbs up

.

I pushed past the sweaty bodies and headed towards my dark-haired knight and tapped his shoulder.

"Taken," he responded without turning back which made me smile. He was still loyal at least.

I tapped his shoulder again.

"I said that I was tak- Ashley?" He said his eyes widening.

"Hey handsome," I said with a small smile placing my hand on his cheek.

"You're really here!" He said really happy and bent down and placed a warm kiss on my lips making my insides shake and feel like jelly.

"I am," I smiled and hugged him tightly.

"I missed you," he murmured in my ear making me fill with happiness.

"Missed you too," I whispered.

We spent the entire night dancing and I know now for sure he was really trashed so I insisted to drive him home so here I am trying to figure out the password to his front door. I dialled Melanie but her phone was off so I tried to wake Brandon himself up.

"Brandon!" I shook him but he wouldn't wake up. He was leaning against the security guard that helped me bring him to the third floor in the elevator. Thankfully he'd put me on the list where I can go up without them calling him.

"Ma'am know any close friend?" He asked as he struggled against Brandon's weight. I thought hard when his friend came to mind.

Alessio!

"Yes!" I said happily and dialled the number he picked up on the very first ring.

"To what do I owe the pleasure of this phone call Brandon?" He asked and i laughed.

"Hello Alessio, it's Ashley, Brandon is completely wasted and i was wondering if you could tell me the password to the apartment?" I asked.

"Yes, your birthday so 2701," Alessio said.

"Thank you!" I said and ended the call.

I dragged Brandon on and placed him on the bed and thanked the guard. I locked the door after he had left. I loosened Brandon's tie and took off his navy blue blazer and took off his top. I slid his dress shoes off and left him in his socks and pants.

I changed out of my dress and into one of Brandon's red shirts and lay next to him. He turned around pulling me and enveloping me with his warmth.

I closed my eyes and drifted off.

I opened my eyes with the bright sunshine on my face making me shield my face and turn around. I woke with a start when I felt a warm body next to mine when I realised I had stayed at Brandon's place.

He snapped his eyes open, "You're still here," he said his blue eyes shining.

"Yes," I said and stroked his cheek gently to which he smiled.

"I'm sorry," he apologised a few minutes later.

"It's okay," I admitted and hugged him close to me as he ran his fingers through my brown hair.

"I love the feeling of your hair between my fingers," he said and I smiled feeling a small blush creep onto my face and bent my head in embarrassment.

"Don't hide from me Ash," he requested and I smiled and looked up peaking through the tendrils of hair I had spread over my face.

"Okay," I said and he nodded his head.

"Let's get some breakfast, babe," Brandon said and he got out of the warm covers.

"Sure," I said and he handed me some of Lissa's clothes before we headed out.

We sat in a booth near the window over the highway. We watched as the cars passed by very fast.

"Look Ash, I'm sorry for being a tomato," Brandon apologised and I laughed.

"Lissa told you that didn't she?"

"Yes, she did. Am I forgiven, Miss Hayes?"

"I have to think about that," I said with a smirk and Brandon rolled his eyes.

"You know I hate suspense,"

"I know," I responded and gazed out watching the vars drive by.

"You're mean," Brandon grumbled as I tried to stop myself from smiling but then i failed very miserably.

However, I didn't respond to his comment.
