Chapter 15: CHAPTER 14

CLARE’S POV

“Hey baby we’re home, time to get up,” Jakeb said waking me up.

“Time to see my bastard of a twin brother,” I said out angrily.

“Well you have to get up, the pack plans to give us a proper greeting. We need our luna by my side to finish the greeting,” Mason said.

“Ok I’m up”

I got up and out the car, although I didn’t want to. I straightened out my clothes, I was not going to look like a mess next to my perfect mate. I then fixed my hair, all I could do was run my hands through it but it still looked ok.

“When we go in Me and Clare go in first, behind us Jake will walk in, last but not least our betas will come in behind us last.”

“Ok, alpha,” the twins said at the same time.

“Ok, Mase,” I told him smiling.

“Cool, Alpha Mase, Cool,” Jakeb said.

We got into order and walked up to the door, someone I didn’t know opened it. It was a pretty little girl, I think she was 14 or close to it.

“Welcome home, Alpha Mason and Luna Clare,” the girl said opening the door wider so we can walk through.

Everywhere along the walls and stairs were 3rd in Command, elders, elite warriors, regular warriors, and regular pack. I saw Tamella and Jaymes in the front, right along with the other elder members.

Then next to Tamella and Jaymes was a person I’d never wanted to see again. An 18 year old boy named Clayton.

“Alpha Mason, Luna Clare, Beta Jyson, Beta Lyson; how was your travels,” one of the female elders asked us.

“Successful, Lady Allison,” Mason said, now I know her name.

“Very successful,” I told her looking back at Jake smiling.

JAKEB’S POV

I love her, I don’t even care I have to share my Beauty, I just need her to be my mate.

“So let’s talk of your successful travels in the meeting room, private,” the woman, ex lady beta I think; Mase said her name is Lady Allison.

All the important people walked into a meeting room, it had less seats than ours but their library was bigger.

“Aww my baby boy’s back home,” Mason’s mother, I’m guessing, ran towards him, she seemed very excited, “And my Clary!”

“Hi Tamella,” Clare said.

“Hello my son, Clare,” his dad said.

“Hey dad,” Mason said.

“Hi Jaymes”

“Now that we’ve gotten our greetings out of the way, let’s get down to business,” his father, Jaymes said.

MASON’S POV

“Now that we’ve gotten our greetings out of the way, let’s get down to business,” dad said.

“So I found my other mate, he was the beta of the Moon Eclipse Pack, everyone meet Jakeb; he’s amazing,” Clare told them.

“Nice to meet you Jakeb, are you aware of the prophecy,” my mom questioned.

“Yes, Clare told me the entire prophecy”

“Oh really,” my mom seemed shocked.

“Why are you shocked about him learning the prophecy, I know it?”

“There’s a part you don’t know, Mason,” little mate told me, “Tami told me the rest of it that right before we left.”

“Well, what is it? You tell Jake before you tell me?”

“Your mother thought it was best you didn’t know because of how you reacted to learning about the prophecy,” Clare said to me, “Jakeb somehow knew that there was more to the prophecy than I was telling and asked.”

“Tell me it right now!”

“Ok, I’ll tell be the one to tell you,” Clare said to everyone, “From here I quote ‘When the chosen wolf girl mates with her 2 mates, she must do it at once. If not she will not be able to receive the full potential of her powers, thus lowering her chances of survival at the ending of the war.’ There that is all I know from the rest of the prophecy.”

I was furious that they didn’t tell me but in a way I was also relieved. I understood why they wanted to keep it from me.

“You ok Mason,” Clare asked me. Standing beside her was Jakeb, he was holding her hand and looked nervously at me.

Clare was probably scared I was going to attack him and he looking as nervous as she was.

I chuckled at them.

“Yea, I actually am ok”

CLARE’S POV

“You ok Mason,” I asked him. I was standing beside Jakeb, we were holding hands, I think he was as nervous as I was about telling Mason the prophecy.

I thought he was going to attack us.

He chuckled at us, seriously chuckled, like for real.

“Yea, I actually am ok”

“Thank you Mase”

“No thanks needed little mate,” Mason said back.

“Now that we have this cleared out, everyone is dismissed,” Tami said.

All the elders left the room, including Mason’s parents; but Jake, Mase, the twins, and I stayed right where we were.

I then noticed one other person in the room with us my bastard twin.

“What do you want, Clayton?”

“You, I want my twin sister, Lucas and Trey too. Joseph wants his mate.”

The boys, all my boy started growling but me, I started laughing.

“Really, now why would I go back to your pack when I have an amazing life here. I have a pack who loves and believes in me and I love and believe in my pack.”

“But Clary”

“No buts Clayton”

“Goodbye, you’re going to leave and never come back. You’re not ever going to tell anyone you found me or else I’ll ruin you.”

CLAYTON’S POV

After the meeting everyone except Clare, Jakeb, Mason, and I were in the room.

“What do you want, Clayton,” Clare asked me, she looked at me with hurt and betrayal.

“You, I want my twin sister, Lucas and Trey too. Joseph wants his mate.”

The boys, all my boy started growling but me, I started laughing.

“Really, now why would I go back to your pack when I have an amazing life here. I have a pack who loves and believes in me and I love and believe in my pack.”

“But Clary”

“No buts Clayton”

“Goodbye, you’re going to leave and never come back. You’re not ever going to tell anyone you found me or else I’ll ruin you,” Clare told me, “Do you understand me.”

I couldn’t answer, she was so luna like. She was powerful and strong, I’d never thought I would see my sister like this.

“Do you understand me,” she yelled at me.

“Yes”

“You will never say you saw me, you need to forget seeing me. FORGET EVER SEEING ME!”

She was getting angrier and angrier with every word,then she just passed out.

MASON’S POV

Clare was yelling at her brother, her voice so powerful and strong. I was and am always going to be proud to call her my mate.

“You will never say you saw me, you need to forget seeing me. FORGET EVER SEEING ME!”

Clare was furious at him, I could feel her anger through the mate bond and we hadn’t even mated yet.

Then Clare dropped to the ground, she was unconscious.

“JAKE, CALL THE PACK DOCTOR! TELL HIM THE LUNA’S UNCONSCIOUS!”

I saw out the corner of my eye Jake run out the room and heard him calling for the doctor. I saw seconds later him and the pack doctor come running back in to the room.

“Alpha Mason, I’ll have to ask you to step back so I can have a good look at our Luna,” Dr. Gummy said.

Her real name isn’t Gummy, it’s Megan Knox but everyone calls her Gummy for her love of anything that has the title gummy in front of it.

“Ok Alpha, nothing seems to be truly wrong with her but for some unknown reason she has gone into a coma,” Gummy told me.

“Do you have any idea when she might wake up?”

“It all depends on her mind, she could be in this coma for an hour, day, week, month, year even. So I’m sorry Alpha, I cannot tell you when Luna Clare may wake up.”

“Ok”

Jake and Clayton were quite the entire time I talked to Gummy. When I looked over to them they were glaring at each other, I knew exactly what he was thinking also.

“This was all your fault,” Jake growled at him and I couldn’t help but growl in agreement.

“Warriors” I said through my mind link

“Yes, Alpha” Jayden, my top warrior, asked.

“Come to the meeting room and bring some other warriors with you” I told Jayden

“Yes, Alpha”

Seconds later 5 of my warriors came through the doors of the meeting room.

“Take him away, to the cells, and let him rot,” I told them.

“Yes Alpha,” They said in unison, it was kinda freaky how they did it.
