Idris smiled as well and said, “Ada, if you manage to win first place, I’ll give you a surprise.”

“This surprise is definitely going to motivate me to win!”

Everyone laughed, and Mindy handed Ada the menu. “Choose whatever you want to eat.”

Just as Ada finished placing her order, Idris’s phone rang.

After he glanced at it, he stood up and said, “It’s a call from a client. I’ll take this outside.”

Once he stepped out, Idris found a quiet corner to answer the phone.

“I told you not to call me for now—”

Before he could finish, a panicked voice interrupted him. “Idris, Noah has a fever. Please come back quickly!”

His expression instantly changed. “I’ll be there right away. In the meantime, use a wet towel to cool him down!”

He quickly returned to the private room after he ended the call.

“Mindy, Ada, something urgent has come up at the company. I need to handle it right away. Please go ahead and eat. If you’re still here after I’m done, I’ll come back.”

Ada and Mindy continued chatting after he left, and the conversation shifted to Silvia.
