“Fine, fine. I was only looking at him because your grandmother wanted me to introduce a girl to him. But I don’t know anyone who’s suitable for him.

So, I suggested that your grandmother host a dinner party to welcome him back to Ryoln City. That way, she can invite some socialites to the party.”

Neil sneered. “It sounds more like a ceremony for him to choose concubines.”

Silvia was at a loss of words.

After a few moments of silence, she looked at him and said, “I realize that you don’t seem to like Liam. Has he offended you before?”

“No. We simply don’t get along.”

Silvia did not ask any more questions when she saw the unpleasant expression on his face.

When they reached Royal Vista, they bumped into Melanie, who was looking for Neil.

Melanie’s eyes darkened when she saw Silvia. She could not believe that Neil was actually back with her!

Silvia greeted Melanie with indifference because she knew that Melanie was not fond of her. She then turned around and spoke to Neil, “I’m heading to my room.”

Melanie suddenly stopped her with a smile. “It’s fine. I’m just here to pass some dumplings that I’ve made for Neil. You can put them in the freezer. If you don’t want the helper to cook, you can heat up some dumplings to eat.”

Silvia was somewhat surprised by her gesture. She did not understand Melanie’s change of attitude.

When Melanie realized that Silvia was not accepting the dumplings, she smiled and said, “Silvia, I did have my opinions of you in the past. However, I’ve been reflecting on it recently. Your relationship is between the both of you, I shouldn’t get involved.”

Silvia did not know what Melanie’s true motive was, so she just took the dumplings from her.

“Thank you for understanding.”

Melanie did not say anything else. She exchanged a few words with Neil before she left.

After Silvia placed the dumplings in the freezer, she made plans to take a shower. The moment she turned around, Neil trapped her between himself and the refrigerator.

“Neil, you—”

Before she could finish her sentence, Neil kissed her.

Silvia subconsciously grabbed his shirt and kissed him back.

Neil only let go of her when she was about to lose her breath.

“Move into my bedroom tonight.”

“No. We agreed that I’ll only stay here if I get my own room. You can’t go back on your own word.”

He lowered his head to look at Silvia. Her eyes were firm and unwavering.

“Fine.”

Silvia pushed him away and laughed. “Neil, we should freshen up and sleep.”

He grabbed her by the waist and kissed her again.

“This is my compensation for a lonely night.”

Silvia was just about to say something when Neil received a call.

Realizing that it was Curtis, he released her.

“Alright.”

Neil walked into the living room to answer the call, but it ended very soon, and he returned to the kitchen. It was unknown what Curtis had told him.

“There are some issues at the company. I have to go, and I’ll probably be back late at night. You should get some rest.”

Seeing his solemn expression, Silvia nodded and said, “Alright, you should go. Work is important.”
