âWhat?â
Dulcie was stunned. Before returned to her senses, Silvia immediately said, âI need to leave the country. Before I come back, youâll be in charge of making all decisions for the company.â
Silvia got into the car as she spoke. She lowered the car window and said, âIf thereâs something that you canât decide on, you can contact me at any time.â
After that, she left.
She drove really fast and reached the airport in less than half an hour.
Curtis immediately passed the flight ticket to her when she got out of the car. âMiss Pond, I need to stay back to complete the tasks that Mr. Remus has assigned to me.â
Silvia took the flight ticket and passed her car keys to him. âHelp me drive my car back.â
Curtis had something else to say, but Silvia had already walked into the airport.
After a roughly six-hour flight, she finally landed in the airport in Feroniaâs capital.
Silvia walked out and immediately headed to Full Moon Hotel.
The hotel was owned by the founder of Full Moon, and they would only take in gang members and mercenaries. Apart from providing shelter and food, they also provided services like detective work, weapons sales, and information exchange.
Silvia walked toward the reception as soon as she entered Full Moon Hotel. She took out a gold card that she had not used for a few years and passed it to the receptionist. âHelp me find a person named Neil Remus,â she said with a straight face.
It did not take long for the receptionist to pass the card back to her and whisper, âHeâs at Hansonâs manor.â
Silviaâs expression became extremely grim when she heard this. Hanson was the leader of a local gang, and he was always looking to gain from a situation. Hence, he would not let go of anything that brought him benefits. He had offended many people in the process, but he also gained many followers. He had a reputation in Feronia for being difficult.
Neil had traveled to Feronia to look for someone. He would have kept a low profile, so he could not have easily gotten into trouble with Hanson.
Someone must have made a deal with Hanson to capture Neil.
The only person who had the power and a grudge against Neil was Liam.
She took her card and solemnly said, âGot it.â
Just as she was about to leave, a hoarse male voice suddenly called out to her.
âLong time no see, Iris.â
Silvia turned around. A man with brown curly hair was standing beside the reception desk. His blue eyes were deep and calm, and he was dressed in a blue suit. He also appeared to be in his forties. He smiled as he looked at her with a surprised gaze.
Silvia had previously been a regular at Full Moon Hotel. They were considered acquaintances.
However, she seemed indifferent. âMatt, you havenât retired.â
Matt smiled and passed her a glass of vodka. âCare to have a drink?â
Silvia rejected his offer. âNo, thanks. I have something to do.â
âIf you want to meet Hanson, perhaps I can be of help.â
He tapped the glass with his finger and gave her a knowing look.
She finally drank the vodka and said, âNow you can name your conditions.â
Matt poured her another glass. âWhatâs the rush? We havenât seen each other in so many years. Letâs catch up first.â
There was a hint of impatience in Silviaâs eyes. âMy patience is limited. Talk now, or forever hold your peace.â
âAlright. Someone offered ten million dollars to kill the person youâre looking for. Hansonâs gang members took him away. Perhaps heâs already dead now.â
His response angered her, and she turned to leave.
âDonât you want to buy some weapons?!â Matt yelled behind her.
Silvia quickly walked back. She took out roughly a dozen gold coins with unique patterns and put them on the table.
Matt took them and looked at the bouncer, who immediately brought Silvia to the warehouse to select her weapons.
