Silvia checked the rearview mirror and smirked when she saw two cars tailing her. She kept driving toward the outskirts.

With fewer vehicles on the road, the two cars behind her caught up. They seemed to notice that Silvia was heading away from the city, hence they became more daring.

Eventually, Silvia stopped her car in an empty field, and the two cars behind her pulled over too.

As she got out of her vehicle, she saw five or six strong, well-built guys stepping out of the cars. They were clearly skilled fighters.

Silvia glared at them. “Who sent you?”

She quickly thought about people she might have offended recently. The most likely culprit was a rival company that MY Corporation had defeated in a recent bid. That company’s manager had made some threats and vowed to not let them go before leaving.

None of the men answered her. They immediately approached her with a rope. It seemed that they were planning to tie her up and bring her away.

Seeing the rope, Silvia kicked away the first person who got close to her. Then, she looked at them with a faint smile.

“You thought you could kidnap me with a single rope?”

The men did not expect her to be so skilled in fighting. They were momentarily stunned before they exchanged glances and charged at the same time.

In less than five minutes, the men were groaning in pain on the ground. Their faces were unrecognizable due to the swelling and bruising they had sustained.

Silvia casually lifted one of them off the ground and coldly asked, “Who sent you?”

When the man kept mum, Silvia punched him a few more times. While she did not target vital areas, the blows were painful enough to make him plead for mercy.

“I-I’ll tell you... Mr. Rios sent us.”

“Mr. Rios?”

Silvia was bewildered. She did not know any boss called “Mr. Rios.”

“Why would he want to kidnap me?”

Silvia frowned and asked, “Is Mr. Rios Chris’s father?”

Silvia cut him off impatiently. “I just want to know where he is right now.”
