Dulcie frowned. “What happened? Didn’t he propose to you? Did he cheat on you?”

Silvia pursed her lips. “No. We just weren’t a good fit, so we broke up.”

Realizing that Silvia was in a bad mood, Dulcie stopped probing. “Do you have time after work tonight? Let’s grab a drink!” she said.

“No. I want to visit Chris tonight.”

“I’ll go with you. I’ve been too busy the past few days, so I haven’t been able to visit him.”

“Okay.”

After work that night, Silvia took Dulcie’s car, and they headed to the hospital.

Chris had regained consciousness, and Katherine had also told him about Silvia’s knowledge of the truth. He even saw the proposal that Neil had prepared for Silvia, but he did not know if she accepted it or not.

However, Silvia loved him very much, so she must have said yes.

When Chris saw Silvia and Dulcie walking into the ward together, he was taken aback.
