“Dad, Mom and I were talking about having a family gathering. It’s for good luck and an easy delivery. Should you talk to Grandpa and Grandma, or should Mom do it?”

All Idris could think of was the Remus Corporation shares he was about to get. When he heard the question, he quickly replied, “I’ll do it. I’ll make sure that everyone from the Pond Family attends!”

“Great. Thanks, Dad. Also, don’t forget to invite Miss Davis and Noah. Since Ms. Davis has a son, I’m hoping for a boy too. Sons often inherit more family wealth.”

Idris was reluctant to invite Sophia and Noah at first. But he smiled after he heard what Ada said.

“Sure. As long as you and your mom are okay with it, I’ll invite them. After all, Noah’s your brother. We’re all family.”

She nodded. “Great, Dad. Once I get Remus Corporation’s shares, I’ll transfer five percent to you right away. Then, you won’t have to worry about pleasing Neil anymore.”

Idris went to his study cheerfully to contact the Pond Family members. He stayed for dinner as well, which was a rare occurrence.

He even intended to stay the night, but Sophia called unexpectedly. She said that Noah had a fever and asked him to go over immediately.

“Ada, your brother isn’t feeling well, so I’m checking on him. I’ve booked the largest private room at Heavenly Joy Restaurant for tomorrow. Don’t worry. Everyone will be there.”

After Idris left, Ada’s smile faded.
