She walked into the hall five minutes later, but she was stupefied. She realized that it was a large drinking party with elegant ladies.
She gritted her teeth. It was a business gathering, but Zayn claimed that it was a celebratory party for her. She would make him regret it when she saw him.
Silvia took off her sunglasses and searched for Zayn.
However, a woman suddenly walked over to chat with her.
"Hello, Miss Pond. My husband's the president of Hayes Corporation."
Silvia was taken aback, but she calmly replied, "You're mistaken. My surname is Xander."
Amy Hayes noticed that Ada looked more charming than usual. However, her response confused her.
After a few seconds, she smiled in embarrassment. "Stop making fun of me, Miss Pond. You came with Mr. Remus earlier, but now, you're saying that your surname is Xander "
Silvia frowned. "Mr. Remus? I don't know him."
Amy got impatient because she was repeatedly humiliated. "Don't beat around the bush if you look down on Hayes Corporation. We're not at your mercy!" she said coldly.
Her husband had asked her to get in touch with Ada since he intended to work with Remus Corporation. Amy never thought that Ada would be so rude.
As a result, she decided to dissuade her husband from collaborating with Remus Corporation.
Silvia was baffled as Amy left. She had no idea who Mr. Remus was. It made her wonder if Zayn was playing a prank on her.
Her phone suddenly rang in her bag while she was still confused.
Seeing that Zayn was calling, her anger got the better of her. She picked up and said, "What's the meaning of this, Zayn?! Are you trying to trick me? I just sat on a plane for more than ten hours and rushed over here. But you made me attend a business gathering. I won't let this go!"
Zayn fell silent for a moment before he asked, "What business gathering? We've been waiting for you on the top floor for ages. What's taking you so long?"
Silvia was speechless.

something was wrong and immediately asked, "Did you go to the fifth floor? Quin mentioned that a company's having a party there. They booked the whole hote but don't we always gather on the private top floor? How could you go to the wrong place?"
"I'm coming now!" After she hung up, she walked to the door.
She would not have made such a stupid mistake if she had gotten some rest on the plane.
All of a sudden, the lights turned off just as she reached the door.
Then, a scream resonated in the hall. Silvia wanted to leave but someone had
locked the door at some point.
She was at a loss for words.
