chan backed away from soonyoung, basically leaping off of him. there was no doubt his face was completely flushed red, soonyoung in the same condition. "vernon... that was-that's not what it looked like."
vernon rolled his eyes, hanging his jacket up and slipping off his shoes. "listen, i had a long day, but i'm not an idiot. don't use those overused words on me, 'cause you clearly had your tongues down each other's throats." he was saying everything as if this happens to him on a daily basis.
"i'm sorry..." chan didn't even know what he was apologizing for. it's not like him and vernon were dating.
as vernon shut the fridge, he glanced at the two of them, still on the floor. soonyoung still hasn't said a word. "i'm leaving early in the morning and probably won't be back by ten tomorrow, so you could start on dinner without me, hyung. goodnight."
with that, the door to vernon's room closed and both soonyoung and chan were suddenly engulfed by silence.
