Chapter 0051 +25 BONUS The room was filled with the sound of shouting as David tried to argue with the guests. The noise was becoming too much. I covered my ears and leaned against Elizabeth as tears stung my eyes.

“What is going on here?!” Alpha Derrick demanded as he shoved his way into the room. He took one look at David, then whirled around to face the rest of us.

“Your son is a lousy cheater!” someone shouted.

“We walked in on them,” someone else said. “He was having sex with Amanda, we all saw it!”

“More than saw it,” someone else cried out. “I’ve got the whole thing on tape!”

The sounds of running footsteps came down the hallway as more people rushed into the room, Amanda’s father walked to the bed where she was still cowering. Without a word, he wrapped her in the blanket and picked her up. “What are you doing?”

Alpha Derrick demanded.

Amanda’s father, alpha Hunter, gave him a threatening glare. “I’m getting my daughter out of here,” he said in a low growl.

“Not without an explanation,” alpha Derrick replied.

“Get out of my way or I will remove you,” he replied, holding his daughter close.

Without another word, alpha Derrick stepped aside.

Amanda’s parents whisked her out of the room and down the hallways. I had no doubt that they would leave Immediately and take her back to the safety of their own packlands.

I couldn’t blame them at all. David had immediately attempted to shift the blame for the entire situation onto Amanda, and there was no telling what danger she might be in when Alpha Derrick finally accepted the truth of the matter.

He was as delusional as his son, it seemed.

“It’s the middle of the night, I demand to know what all this screaming is about!” alpha Derrick shouted as he tumed the lights on in the room I spotted Amanda’s silver dress crumpled on the floor at the foot of the bed. Beside it was David’s jacket.

“The wedding is off. I won’t be binding myself to your son! I cried out.

“You can’t do that!” he said angrily. “You agreed to this marriage.”

“She can absolutely break the agreement given the circumstances,” Elizabeth said angrily. “David has been carrying on an affair with Amanda. He is the one that broke their bond!”

“You mind your own business,” he snapped.

A collective gasp filled the room.

“You mind who you’re talking to,” Elizabeth replied coolly. “I understand that this is an upsetting situation for your family, but you will not disrespect me.”

At that moment, my parents, along with David’s mother Lily, pushed their way through the crowd. My mother immediately stepped to me and put both of her hands on my face.

“Baby, why are you crying?” she asked softly.

“It’s awful, luna Rebecca,” one of the girls behind us sald turned to look and recognzied the girl. She was Kimberly Rose, the daughter of the alpha and luna of the Bear Rose pack. “We caught David and Amanda together.”

A look of raw shock crossed my mother’s face before she could cover it.

“That’s ridiculous,” alpha Derrick scoffed.

“It’s just a misunderstanding,” David added quickdy.

Lily was standing beside him, glaring at me hatefully. “There’s no reason for all of these people to be involved,” she said angrily.

“Leave and let the families handle this.”

‘Absolutely not,” Elizabeth said firmly. “We’re not leaving our friend in this state.”

I looked at her in surprise. I barely knew her, yet she was calling me her friend and standing up for me. It made me feel so grateful to her.

“If Ella would just give me a chance to explain-” David started.

“It’s not a misunderstanding.” Elizabeth said firmly. “We all saw you.”

“Please explain to me what’s going on,” my father said in a loud but calm voice.

“I’ll explain,” I said shakily.

All eyes turned to me. Elizabeth stayed close to my side, and my mother held her hand on my shoulder to support ine.

“It’s Amanda’s birthday. I planned a surprise party for her didn’t want her to feel like we had forgotten her because of the wedding. We brought the cake, balloons, and gifts to surprise her. The door wasn’t opened, so we let ourselves in and eyes were My voice cracked with emotion as I looked at David. He had an expression of anger on his face, but his darting between me and his parents. I could tell that he was still trying to come up with a way to explain this all away.

My father turned his gaze towards David. I didn’t need to see his face to know that his glare must have been frightening, My father could be a truly intimidating man when he was angry.

“After Ella chose to give you a second chance, you did something like this?” he said coldly. “What kind of man are you?”

“I don’t understand how this happened,” David replied weakly. “I brought Ella to our room, and she passed out!”

“I admit, I fell asleep for a short time. I probably drank a bit too much, and it was a long day. When I woke up, David was gone. I texted him asking where he went, but there was no answer.”

“No, you didn’t,” David said. “I never heard my phone.” He pulled his phone out and unlocked the screen. His face went pale as he saw my message.

“The message is there, isn’t it?” I asked.

“I never heard the notification,” he responded softly.

“Wonder why?” someone said sarcastically.

“There’s nothing funny about this!” he shouted. “What are you nosy creeps still doing here anyway?”

“Making sure you can’t bully Ella into forgiving you again, Elizabeth said.

Alpha Derrick scoffed. “As if we can take the word of a bunch of drunk kids.”

“Are you seriously trying to say that we all imagined the same thing?” Kimberly said in disbelief.

“I’m saying that your word means nothing to me, and Ellas probably confused,” he replied. “It wouldn’t be the first time she overreacted about something minor.”

“Watch what you say about my daughter,” my father said firmly.

“We can’t trust the word of any of these people!” Alpha Derrick shouted, pointing an accusatory finger towards the group.

“Are you calling me a liar?” Elizabeth stepped forward with a cold look on her face and stared down at alpha Derrick. “Kimberly. If I remembered it correctly, you recorded everything right?”

“Yes!” Kimberly said. “I was going to post the video of the surprise party, but 1 caught them in the act instead!”

“I recorded it too! There’s no mistaking what they were up to,” a man’s voice added.

Alpha Derrick’s face became ashen in an instant.
