" You're kidding right?" I asked as I turned to face him and he shook his head. My eyes went to Bella who had her mouth open in shock.
â I'm not joking, if I'm going to introduce you to the world as my girlfriend then I have to introduce you to my parent's first, my Mom already know you but our relationship has been a secret and I can't let that continue," he said, I had to blink a few times to make sure I wasn't dreaming and he was right here in front of me saying he wants to take me to meet his parents.
â Cole, I'm not sure this is a good idea,"
â Of course it's a good idea," Bella chirped in and I turned to her with a glare. She just shrugged and looked away.
â Thank you Bella," Cole said,
â I'm done hiding, I should have done this earlier, hiding didn't do me any good, I want you Anna, not any other woman, that's why I've decided that we should have dinner with them,â he said,
â What aboutâ¦â Cole placed his finger on my lips silencing me,
" Shh, can we just forget about the what ifs and just do this, I'm willing to risk everything for you Anna that's how much you mean to me, I want you and only you,â he said and I nodded but I couldn't lie, I was fucking nervous especially because of his dad.
â I'm going to speak to my Mom about the dinner so she can plan it, she's always excited about me coming over, I'll call her now, excuse me," he said and I nodded before he stood upâ¦â I'll be in the garden,"
Cole kissed me on the head before walking to the door as I heard it open and close.
â Bella this is crazy, this is going to cause a lot of trouble, what if it gives him a bad name," I said and Bella shook her head,
â Just as he said, can you stop worrying, he'll take care of it, just breathe Anna, you both deserve to be happy so embrace this, it will all work out," she said and I nodded.
â But I'm fucking nervous, you should see his dad," I said and she laughed,
" Come on, come help me so we can go look for something for you to wear,â she said and I smiled before I stood up to go help her.
â I don't think I have what to wear," I said but Bella rolled her eyes.

I was currently sitting on a bench in the garden, I couldn't help but think of the decision I just made, was it the right decision? I could see the fear in Anna's eyes. This couldn't keep going on, she wasn't something to hide rather she was a treasure to be flaunted for the whole world to see.
My decision was final, why was I even thinking about it again?
With that in mind, I dialed my mom's number.
â Hello son, how are you?" she asked with a cheerful voice and that immediately calmed me down.
â I'm doing okay mom, how about you?â I asked,
" Good,â she simply said,
" Mom please I need a favor from you,â I said,
" Oh, what is it? You can ask me anything,â she said and I couldn't help but smile.
â I need you to arrange for dinner tonight," I said,
â Dinner? It's not that I'm not happy to hear this but what's happening? You always avoid having dinner with us especially because you're avoiding your dad," she said and I sighed,
â Mom, I've come to a conclusion and I don't think anyone can stop me, I'm going to bring Anna home with me for dinner as my girlfriend,â I said and the line became silent,
" Mom?â I called,
" This is incredible news,â came her happy voice and I was shocked. My Mom already knew about Anna. What I'm surprised about is that I thought she'd tell me it wasn't a good idea to bring her over.
" You think I was going to stop you? Look, son it's better you bring her and introduce her to your father so he knows there's someone special in your life rather than just telling him no repeatedly without showing him any woman. I'm sure he's persistent about marrying that woman because he still thinks you're living your playboy lifestyle,â she said and I chuckled,
" Yeah that's it, he thinks you're just saying no because it's about marriage and it's going to stop you from messing around,â she said,
â Thank you Mom, for always supporting me," I said,
â You're my son Cole, I'll always support you for anything that makes you happy," she said and I felt my heart blossom with warmth.
â I have to go now Mom, I need to talk to Anna," I said as I got up from the bench.
â Alright son, say hi to her for me," she said before blowing kisses over the phone before the call ended.
I released a breath I didn't know I was holding, it felt like a weight had finally been off my shoulders.
I walked back inside the house but the girls were not in the sitting room, I could hear their voices and giggles coming from one of the rooms.
â Anna," I called but didn't get any response so I tried again,
" Anna,â
" Coming,â she said from inside the room before I heard her hurried footsteps.
â I'm here," she said when she reached me and for my own sanity I pulled her close and kissed her lips.
â I have to go now, I'll pick you up by seven," I said as my lips hovered over hers.
â Okay baby, I hope this goes well, we wouldn't have to hide anymore, you'd be able to hold my hand in public, kiss me and hold my waist," she whispered and I couldn't help but groan, it was such a turn on thinking of showing her off to the world.
â I can't wait," I said,
â Let's just hope everything goes as planned," she said. I could see the fear in her eyes so I held her hand and drew her close.
â Everything is going to be alright, you have nothing to fear, okay?" I said and she nodded.
She had absolutely nothing to fear because I already had a plan.
