Holden recalled that Jasper had shorter hair.
Devin said, âThe photo you saw in the file was probably from his school days; he looks quite different now.
â
Holden pondered for a moment before inquiring, âAnd the part where he called me an adulterer, is that accurate?â
The mere thought of that accusation from his dream made Holden frown deeply.
Devin awkwardly explained, âWell, thatâs a bit complicated⦠Miss Edwards was indeed in a relationship with Jasper for three years.
â
Holdenâs expression grew stormier.
Devin hurriedly added, âBut Jasper took advantage of Miss Edwards.
During your car accident, Jasper tricked Miss Edwards.
By the time she realized the deception, she had already left him.
So when Miss Edwards married you, she was completely free of him, and you certainly arenât an adulterer.
â
After hearing that, Holdenâs expression softened a bit.
Then, Holden recalled the villa and the small garden from his dream and turned to Devin.
âDo you know of a place where Ariana and I might have lived, featuring a detached villa with a small garden, abundant flowers, a nearby pondâ¦â
Holden described the surroundings in his dream and then looked at Devin.
âDoes such a place actually exist?â
As Holden began recounting his experience, Devinâs expression shifted.
A flicker of recognition crossing his face.
âThat sounds like the Anderson mansion,â he said.
âYou and Miss Edwards spent some time there.
â
After a pause, Devin added, âAfter the incidents with Darian and Jasper, followed by your car accident, you were brought back to the Fredrick family.
Subsequently, the mansion was sealed off due to business arrangements with the Anderson Group.
â
Holden paused, contemplating Devinâs words before posing another question, his curiosity evident.
âIs it still possible to gain entry to the Anderson mansion now? Who is its current owner?â
Devin replied, âThe mansion was slated for auction by the court, but Mr.
Fredrick intervened and acquired it.
Itâs now under the ownership of the Fredrick Group.
â
Pausing briefly, Devin then asked, âWould you like to revisit it?â
Holden nodded after a moment of contemplation.
He felt a tug of nostalgia, realizing he and Ariana had left behind numerous memories at the Anderson mansion.
Perhaps revisiting the place would aid in recapturing some of his lost memories.
Devin hesitated, aware that everyone preferred Holden not to delve too deeply into his past at the mansion.
Nevertheless, given the circumstances, he nodded.
âAlright, Iâll bring you the keys to the mansion later.
â
Meanwhile, in a lavish villa elsewhere, Zayden lounged on a leather sofa, a cigar between his fingers.
He released a languid exhale and directed his gaze toward the individual opposite him.
âHow are things progressing with the board? Assisting me would undoubtedly be advantageous for them,â he said.
The figure across from Zayden mirrored Zaydenâs relaxed demeanor, puffing on his cigar amidst the wisps of smoke.
After contemplating, the man spoke with measured deliberation.
âItâs feasible, but Mr.
Fredrick, you must demonstrate genuine commitment first.
â
Zayden let out a low chuckle, casting a sidelong glance.
âBecker, what do you want?â
