"ok we will leave you three to settle in" Leo said.
"Aw but I want to spend time and get to know them" Nico complained.
"You can do that, let's give them some time alone" Leo said knowing they would probably be talking to each other about what they think of everything.
"We'll come get you at dinner time, you can go wherever you want so don't feel like you have to stay in one room" Leo said and pulled Nico out with him.
The triplets were alone.
"Why did they give us these rooms" James asked.
"I...I don't know" Alex replied cautiously. He was good at reading people, he had to learn in order to protect himself and his siblings. But this was confusing for him. He had no idea what game they were playing. Multiple scenarios ran through his head. None of them good.
"Maybe it's not a trap" Skye whispered. She knew it was probably a trap but she desperately wanted it to be real.
"I'm not sure, I don't like how you are so far away" Alex said. He had always watched over his siblings at night time but now they were on seperate sides of the hallway.
"Yeah it could be a false sense of security before they attack" James added.
"For now we will go along with what they say. It's best to stay on their good side until we find out their motive. They are big on respect here so let's just respect them and stay out of trouble" Alex finally decided.
"Haven't you been giving them a hard time though " James said.
"Yes but I need to protect you both "
Skye didn't like how her brothers protected her with no regards for their own safety.
"You need to protect yourself too" she said.
Alex didn't see the point, he rather get hurt than watch his siblings get beaten.
"It's been a long journey, why don't you both rest" Alex said.
"No, you haven't slept yet, you need some sleep, I'll stay up" James said.
"No. You two need sleep more then me" Alex said.
"Please sleep Alex"Â Skye said.
Reluctantly Alex agreed, he was tired himself, but he refused to let something happen while he slept.
Skye like most nights cuddled up to Alex who openly welcomed her. However she didn't sleep, she just closed her eyes resting and listening to his heart.
After some time she saw Alex had finally fallen asleep. His grip on her was tight but it was gentle at the same time.
James slowly walked round and laid on the bed, he didn't close his eyes instead he laid staring up at the ceiling.
"Maybe this will be a new start Skye" he whispered knowing she wasn't asleep.
"Maybe" she whispered.
Both of them didn't want to wake Alex so they let themselves drift off into their own little world's.
A few hours past and there was a quiet knock at the door. Both Skye and James were suprised Alex didn't wake up but it was probably because this was his first time sleeping in a bed and he was comfy for the first time.
"What do we do, he's asleep" Skye said fearing the possibility of talking to them.
"I'll do the talking, no doubt he will wake in a minute or so" James said getting off the bed and opening the door.
Leo was stood at the door, he smiled warmly at James. After talking to his father, he had confirmed what he thought, Alex was the one to talk for his siblings.
"Dinner is ready, how are you finding things though" he asked.
James heart rate picked up.
What did he mean by that.
He had to be strong for Skye though
he was about to anwser but luckily Alex had woken up. He saw Leo at the door and practically raced over. He pulled James back.
"Dinner is ready" Leo calmly said.
Alex nodded remembering last night "thank you" he whispered.
It confused Leo but he nodded "come on kids" he said. Alex waited for Skye to take his hand, James took his over and they followed Leo downstairs.
"You guys are so adorable" Leo said looking at how they all held hands.
The triplets were all very anxious when they entered the dining room. They weren't expecting food, maybe the odd piece of bread so when they didn't move and stared in shock, they were confused that Leo told them to go sit in the 3 empty seats.

They carefully sat down not knowing what was going on. They didn't know what was going on.
A maid walked in pushing a trolley with 8 plates of food. She carefully placed it in front of each person starting with Rafael and then Lorenzo. Each one said thank you as she placed it in front.
"Thank you, James and Skye are thankful too" Alex said to the maid as he stared at the food.
The children hadn't a full meal like this since they were four, they don't remember that though.
Everyone but the triplets began eating. They still didn't know what to do. Was this another trap?
"It's been a long day, you kids need to eat your dinner" Rafael said noticing his triplets weren't eating.
Skye looked to Alex who was eyeing the food. His head snapped up at Rafael's words. Last time he rejected the food he and siblings paid the price.
Alex wouldn't make that mistake again, he slowly picked up his knife and folk, James followed but Skye wanted to but she was scared it was a trap "you need to eat Skye, it's not healthy skipping meals" Leo gently said.
"Leonardo is right Skye, it doesn't matter if you can't finish it, just try" Rafael said.
The boys were shocked at her nice their father sounded. It was unexpected and they hadn't heard it.
"Thank you sir" she whispered picking up her knife and fork.
Only this caused concern.
Rafael was a man who demanded respect but he didn't want his own daughter, his only daughter calling him sir.
"You don't need to call me that Skye" he said.
"Then what should we call you sir" James said, he didn't see why they made it a big deal.
"Rafael, or when you're ready dad" Rafael replied.
Alex saw how scared his siblings looked so he jumped in "we apologize, we didn't mean to cause any issues"
"It's fine. Why don't we get back to eating"
Everyone resumed eating, Leo , Lorenzo and Rafael shared a concerned look.
"Right now that we are all in the same room why don't we all introduce ourselves properly. So name, age and a fun fact" Leo said to break the tension.
Everyone sent him a hateful glare.
"I'll start, my name is Leonardo or Leo for short, I'm 22, a fun fact about me is I'm currently studying to be a lawyer " Leo said with enthusiasm.
"My turn. I'm Nico, I'm 16, the fun one. I'm in highschool and I play lots of sports, I'm on the football team, lacrosse team and hockey team" Nico said smiling.
"I'm Rafael, I'm 47, I own several hotels and businesses " Rafael said bluntly.
"Lorenzo, 27, I own 2 of my own companies"
Everyone looked to Marco. He had yet to talk to the triplets or introduce himself at all "I'm Marco, 18. Stay out of my way"
Everyone turned to the triplets now
None of them knew what to say, it want like they had hobbies.
"we are Alex, James and Skye, we are all 14" Alex said not wanting to give them any idea how baf their childhood was.
"I'm pretty sure they can speak for themselves" Marco said with annoyance.
"Marco" Rafael warned.
Lorenzo who was sat next to Marco leaned over "do not use that tone with them or there will be more than just work at the garage in your future" he warned darkly.
Dinner past quickly after that, the triplets could only stomach a few mouthfuls which caused concern. Rafael said it was okay and let them leave the food.
After dinner finished. Lorenzo, Leo and Rafael went to talk. Nico tried to follow the triplets but Alex didn't let him. They had eaten some of their, there must be a consequence.
As they went to Alex's room this time, unfortunately Marco came out at the moment and with a sickly grin he spoke "since you're attention seeking brats, you will address me as sir" he said snickering and walking back to his room
