They're from your old pack.
Those dreaded words repeated themselves in my head but I refused to believe them. No-one from Moonstone could possibly know where I was. Alpha Wes saw me running but how could he know I'd be on Bloodmoon territory?
"Blair?" Saph's voice rang in my ears, "are you okay?"
I nodded down at her and sighed, "Saph, is it okay if I go with Payton? I'll be quick, promise." She nodded and I smiled at her before getting up off the bed and dragging Payton out of the room.
"Why are they here? What do they want?"
"You, it seems."
"Who are they?" I asked as we walked down the stairs.
"There was a women who said her name was Christa and a boy.. Kacpar I think his name was.. They both looked a lot like you, actually." He laughed lightly to himself.
Kacper? What's he doing here?
Alpha Wes must have sent them, Nelly spoke slowly. Her ears were pricked up and she was pacing back and forth. She was beyond nervous.
"Do you know them?" Payton asked me as he led me down another flight of stairs towards the basement.
I nodded slowly, my throat dry, "its my mother and brother."
.
.
After more flights of stairs and more corridors, we stopped in front of a large metal door being guarded by a large muscled man.
"Beta Payton, Omega," the guard glared at me and I crossed my arms over my chest, eyes widened.
"Your Luna and I are here to speak to the wolves from the border," Payton smirked, his voice challenging and the guards eyes grew so wide they looked like they were going to pop out of his head. I stifled my laugh and remained in a strong posture.
"My apologies, Luna," the guard bowed his head in submission and I nodded. "Be careful," he said under hushed tones and opened the large door for us.
"Luna," Payton stepped aside and extended his arm, motioning for me to go in first.
I have to say, I was extremely nervous about seeing my mother again. I hadn't seen her and my father since the day they dropped the title as male and female Beta. Seeing my brother again was a completely different story. He treated me like crap everyday just for fun and now he expects to possibly talk to me? Huh. Well he's got another thing coming, that's for sure.
"Thanks," I mutter quietly and walk through the door, fiddling with my thumbs nervously.
I see two people sitting either side of a cell right at the end of the corridor. I didn't understand why they didn't put them in separate cells but I guess because they're family it's different. But then it could've been because they're from the same pack because how were hey to know that they're family? Unless my mother said something. That wouldn't surprise me at all.
You can do this, Payton mind linked me so that the two in the cell wouldn't be able to hear, I'll wait by the door in case anything happens. He reached his hand down to mine and squeezed it lightly. Taking in a deep breath I looked up and smiled at him and then made my way over to the end cell, coughing to grab their attention.
Kacper looked up slowly, his eyes a lot darker than what I remembered when we were younger. "I knew you were here," he snarled, glaring at me.
"Oh, shut up," I rolled my eyes and crossed my arms over my chest.
"Oh, just you wait until Alpha Wes find out you are here," he smirked.
"He's not going to find out I'm here because you are going to keep your mouth shut or--"
"Or what?" He challenged.
"I'll have you killed."
"Enough!" Our mother shrieked and bolted up from the floor.
"Why are you here?" I growled.
My mother momentarily glared at Kacper then turned back to me, "I want you to come back with us."
"Come back? With you?" I laughed, "do you have any idea what kind of shit I was being put through by being in that pack? By him," I shot a death glare towards Kacper and then back at my mother. "And it's your fault. Ever since you and dad dropped the title, he," I point at my brother, "has been treating me like complete shit, along with the Alpha and his third and not once were you ever there to help me when I needed you so don't you dare pretend you care now because I am never going back to that shit hole ever again!"
"Honey please, just hear me out."
"What?" I growl, "what could you possibly have to say?"
She sighed deeply and started slowly walking towards the bars of the cell, "even if we wanted too, your father and I couldn't do anything. When we joined the pack we swore an oath that Omega's were to be treated differently to everyone else, no matter what."
"But I'm your daughter!" I yelled.
"There was nothing we could do!" she cried.
"As for you," I turned my attention towards Kacper, "why you decided to ruin my life for the past few years still remains a mystery to me and I guess always will, because after today I don't ever want to see you again." I spat in their faces and turned my back on them.
"Come on, I'm done with them" I said to Payton and walked out of the basement. "Send them back to their territory," I told the guard, "I want people on each length of the border. No one from Moonstone is welcome here."
"Yes, Luna."
Payton caught up to me and wrapped an arm around my shoulders, "that was brave, what you did back there."
I nodded in response, still partially shocked about seeing them and surprised about what I'd said. What I don't understand though, is I've been gone almost a week now and they've only just bothered to do something about it?
Alpha Wes must be planning something.

I walked in to my room a little while later after seeing my mum and brother because I had to tell Riley what happened. When I told him what I'd said to my mother he just smirked, shaking his head at me, he even laughed slightly when I told him what I'd said to Kacper. I didn't understand why he was laughing because it definitely was no laughing matter; but once he was able to compose himself he hugged me, kissed my forehead and told me he was proud of me. He said that me sticking up for myself was good practice and that with each day my social skills have been improving, which cheered me up a little.
I pulled some grey jogging bottoms and a black vest out of my wardrobe and sighed. I really needed to go shopping for some things more 'my style' soon. Looking up, I noticed that Frozen was playing on a rerun and Sapphire was snuggled up in my bed, her strawberry blonde hair fanned out around her peaceful face. I quietly walked over to her and lifted the covers up and over her delicate and fragile body, then tiptoed out of the room with my clothes and went in to the bathroom to change.
Riley, can I bunk with you tonight? I mind linked Riley while I changed my clothes.
Of course you can, you're always welcome too. But can I ask why? He replied back almost instantly.
Saph has kind of dominated my bed and I have no where else to sleep. I opened the bathroom door and tiptoed back in to my room to put my clothes away.
"I can move her if you want?"
I spun around at the sound of a voice my hand placed firmly on my chest, "Riley, what the fuck!?" I exclaimed, quietly though, I didn't want to wake Saph up. "Stop doing that!"
He rolled his eyes and stepped towards my door, "want me to move her?"
"What, don't you want me to sleep with you?" I raised my eyebrows.
"N-no, it's not that.." He mumbled, "I just want you to be comfortable."
"Yeah, sure," I rolled my eyes, "just let her sleep."
"Alright, come on then," he took my hand and led me to his room.
"You know.. Since we're mates and all, why don't we make this a permanent thing, you staying in my room I mean." He rushed, opening his bedroom door.
"Maybe.." I muttered and followed him in to his bedroom, looking around. His walls were a dark blue, almost black, his bed was up against the biggest wall, made neatly much to my surprise. In fact, his whole room was pretty clean.
"You like?" he asked, flopping down on his bed.
"It's clean," I observed, sitting down on the edge of the bed.
"Is that a bad thing?" he chuckled.
"No, just... Weird," I looked back at him and giggled. He got up and walked over to the other side of the room. I jiggled up the bed and climbed under the covers. When I looked up, Riley had taken his shirt and trousers off and was making his way back over to the bed. His body was perfect, not that I was staring though.
Yes you were, Nelly smirked.
Shut up, I mentally rolled my eyes and laid down under the covers.
"Blair?" I felt the bed dip beside me and Riley wrapped an arm around my waist, his fingers lightly grazing over my wrist, making me freeze. "What are those on your wrist?"
"Nothing," I mumbled and turned away from him, laying on my side with my back to him.
"Blair."
"Goodnight, Riley," I sighed and closed my eyes.
I'm screwed if he asks about them tomorrow.
