The game started off simple enough. Jake asked, "Truth or dare?"

Alex smirked. "Dare."

Jake grinned. "Alright, I dare you to drink two bottles of water back-to-back."

Alex shrugged. "Easy." He grabbed the water bottles and chugged them down quickly.

Alex then turned the tables. "Okay, Jake, truth or dare?"

Jake hesitated but then smirked. "Dare."

Alex's grin widened. "I dare you to pee in your diaper."

Jake chuckled. "Good one." Without hesitation, he relaxed and let go. He laughed. "Okay, your turn. Truth or dare?"

Alex thought for a moment. "Dare."

Jake raised an eyebrow. "Alright... I dare you to poop in yours."

Alex's eyes widened before he smirked. "Fine." He shifted slightly and then sat back down. "Done."

After five hours of playing, both their diapers were full, and they started to feel uncomfortable.

Jake stretched. "Alright, I think we should call it."

Alex nodded. "Yeah... probably time for a change."

Jake hesitated for a second before saying, "Want me to help? Like you helped me before?"

Alex smiled. "Yeah, that'd be cool."

They took turns helping each other clean up, using wipes and powder before taping on fresh diapers. When they were finally changed, they sat back down with a sigh of relief.

Jake then thought for a second and realized his mom doesn't know they like using their diapers instead of going to the bathroom. He turned to Alex. "We should get rid of the evidence before she gets home."

Alex nodded. "Good idea."

As they were disposing of the evidence outside in the trash, they saw a car coming down the road. It was Mrs. Faulkner.

Jake's eyes widened. "Oh crap."

Alex gulped. "Act natural?"

Jake sighed. "Let's hope she doesn't notice."

Mrs. Faulkner pulled into the driveway, slowing as she spotted the boys standing near the trash bins. She parked the car and stepped out, closing the door behind her with a curious glance.

"What are you boys doing outside this late?" she asked, walking toward them with her keys still in hand.

Jake and Alex exchanged a quick look, trying to come up with an excuse.

Jake cleared his throat. "Uh... just taking out the trash."

His mom raised an eyebrow. "At midnight?"

Alex chuckled nervously. "Yeah, we kinda let it pile up, so we figured we'd just get it done now."

Mrs. Faulkner folded her arms, her gaze shifting between the two of them, clearly unconvinced. "Uh-huh. And why do you both look like you got caught doing something you shouldn't?"

Jake swallowed hard, feeling the tension in the air. "No reason."

His mom sighed and gave them both a knowing look. "Alright, you two. Inside. Now."

Jake and Alex nodded quickly, shutting the trash bin before following her toward the house. As they stepped inside, Mrs. Faulkner glanced back at them. "We'll talk about this after you wash up. Get ready for bed."

The boys exchanged another nervous glance, realizing they might not have been as subtle as they thought.

As they stepped inside, Mrs. Faulkner set her purse down and kicked off her shoes. She turned to face the boys, her expression unreadable.

"Alright," she said, crossing her arms. "You two want to tell me the real reason you were outside at midnight?"

Jake hesitated, glancing at Alex, who was clearly waiting for him to speak first. He sighed, knowing there was no easy way out of this.

"Okay... we were taking out the trash, but we, uh... wanted to make sure it was all the way out before you got home," Jake admitted, his voice trailing off at the end.

Mrs. Faulkner's eyes narrowed slightly. "And why would you need to do that?"

Jake swallowed hard. His mind raced for a response, but Alex suddenly spoke up.

"We just... didn't want the house to smell," Alex added quickly. "You know, after everything we ate today, we figured it was better to just-uh-get rid of it now instead of in the morning."

Mrs. Faulkner looked between them, clearly skeptical. She let out a tired sigh and rubbed her temple.

"Alright," she said slowly. "I don't know exactly what's going on here, but I have a feeling you two aren't telling me everything."

Jake felt his heart pound. "We're not lying," he insisted, though even he could tell it didn't sound entirely convincing.

His mom raised an eyebrow. "Mhm. Well, whatever it is, I'm too tired to deal with it right now." She gestured toward the hallway. "Go take your showers, brush your teeth, and get ready for bed. We'll talk in the morning."

The boys both nodded quickly, grateful to escape further questioning-for now. As they made their way upstairs, Alex whispered, "That was close."

Jake exhaled. "Yeah... but I think she suspects something."

Alex shrugged. "Guess we'll just have to be extra careful next time."

Jake nodded in agreement, but as he entered the bathroom to start his shower, he couldn't shake the feeling that this wasn't over.

Jake froze mid-step, turning to see Alex standing awkwardly in the doorway as Mrs. Faulkner crossed her arms.

"It's late, and I'm too tired to wait around for you both to shower separately," she said firmly. "You're both going to shower together so I can get you diapered and in bed as quickly as possible."

Jake's face flushed. "Mom, seriously?"

Alex looked just as surprised but shrugged. "I mean... it's not like we haven't changed each other already."

Mrs. Faulkner sighed. "Exactly. Now hurry up, I don't want to be up all night waiting on you two."

With no real choice, Jake and Alex stepped into the bathroom as Mrs. Faulkner closed the door behind them. They exchanged a glance before awkwardly turning away to start the shower."This is weird, right?" Jake mumbled as he adjusted the water temperature.

"A little," Alex admitted, stepping in. "But hey, let's just make it quick."

Jake nodded, and the two wasted no time washing up. After rinsing off, they grabbed towels and dried themselves as fast as possible.

When they stepped out into Jake's room, Mrs. Faulkner was already waiting with fresh diapers and powder in hand. She motioned for them to lie down on the bed."Alright, let's get this done so you two can get some sleep," she said.

Jake and Alex exchanged one last look before sighing and lying down, letting Mrs. Faulkner finish the nightly routine.
