I am watching cartoon on TV but my mind is battling with something.
Should i call him today???
"Priya"
"Yes mom"
"Beta have you seen my nude nail polish??"
"Ummm wait" i began to think "yeah it's in my drawer"
"Okay go and bring it from your room"
"Okay"
I rush to my room and bring the nail polish.
"Here"
"Priya, me and your Dad are going on for a business meeting, so will arrive late, so sleep early"
"Okay mom"
"And don't eat chocolate at night"
"Okay"
"And don't you dare watch any movie on your computer"
"Yes mom"
"And-" dad cut her off "Chill my wife chill, come let's go or we will be late"
"Yes and Take care of Aarav" she kissed my forehead.
"Mom and Dad" we heard Bhai
"Yes Beta" dad said
"Dad you forgot your car keys in my room"
"Oh! Thank you" Dad said
"Your dad is so absentminded" mom said and i chuckled
She looked at me "and even you"
"What?? No i am not"
"Yes you are and now bye both of you"
They went.
"Priya i am going out for sometime" Bhai Said
"Okay but where?"
"Just near by"
"Okay!"
He was about to go when i stopped him "umm bhai can i have your Phone?"
"Yeah sure"
He unlocked and gave it to me.
I smiled "thank you Bhai"
He just nodded and went.
I sat on the Sofa, TV still on but i am looking at the phone.
Should i call him??? I will be asking for work only !
I walk in my room and find the slip in which i wrote His mom's number.
And i dialed it.
I take a deep breath and press call.
It's ringing.
........."hello?" It's aunty
"Hello aunty"
"Oh hello Priya"
"Umm Aunty is Rahul there?? Actually i wasn't able to talk to him that day as the battery was low"
"Yeah he is here.....Rahul!"
"Yes mom" i heard him
"Here, Priya wants to talk with you"
My heart beats rose as i can hear his breaths.
Why isn't he speaking??? So i said "Hello! Rahul?" I said softly
"He-hello"
We both went silent.
After a few seconds i spoke "Umm I want to know, if you can provide me with last year question papers and reference books!"
"Yeah, sure i can"
"Umm so can you give them to me in school tomorrow?"
"Tomorrow won't be possible as i have to search for them"
"Okay no problem take your time........but you can give me book when you find.....even if you find any one" my hands are sweating badly
"Yes sure"
We both were silent again
"Soo how are you?" I asked
"Fine"
"And everyone in your house?"
"They are also fine"
"Aaa -"
"You didn't answer me that why you didn't attend school yesterday"
He is still thinking about that.
"I didn't came because Aarav Bhai got panick Attack and so everyone in the house was depressed and so was i, so didn't felt like going school"
"Ohh, is he alright now?"
"Yes he is perfectly fine"
Again silence, now I won't break it, he will.
Then he spoke "aa Priya"
"Yes"
"You have done silly mistakes in your maths test"
What??? Is he serious!!!
I began to laugh "Rahul (laugh) are you (laugh) serious?"
"Umm yes! But why are you laughing?"
I composed my laugh and said "because i know i did silly mistakes in my maths test as it sucks alot"
"No it doesn't"
"Yes it does"
"No it doesn't! Maths is a very unique and interesting subject"
"No it's not! Infact it's the most boring and uninteresting subject" I argued
"Priya if you will concentrate then only it will be interesting"
"Rahul ! I do study with concentration but still it's boring"
"How? Explain me please"
"Okay so in maths, we have to find X, Y, Z all the time which is a waste of time. Then we have to do calculations which god knows how much time it takes, then we have to prove the congruence of triangles and remember properties of different shapes and I don't know when we should do those extra steps when we even haven't learned about them, then the very important thing in that triangle chapter is how can we know that if we have to extend the line or make an extra triangle when we didn't even study about it and the most irritating thing is Volume and surface area chapter! I mean who the hell will cut the boxes and ground inva weird manner then we even have to find it's area-"
"Okay stop! I understood " He said cutting me off
"See i told you" with a smugly look, i know he can't see it.
"Priya"
"Hmm"
"I didn't got punishment because i didn't study or something, it's just that my friends were talking and so with them even i got punished"
I giggled "so you weren't at fault"
"Nope! Not at all"
"Okay i take that but why are you giving me explanation"
"Woh because"
"Because?" I smiled
"Because i thought, that you might complain about me to my father so"
I Laughed "seriously Rahul? Why would i do that?? And by the way, little bit fun in life is important"
"Yeah"
"And i think your friends are cooler that you"
"How?" He asked immediately
"Because they were having fun in class while you must be studying like a bore intelligent student"
"No! I am cooler than them and by the why, i was the one who was talking non stop in class along with th-"
He paused and i laughed again
"No, i mean-"
"I understood Rahul you are a very naughty boy"
"Even Cool more than my friends"
"Okay as you say"
Then someone knocked on my door "coming"
"Umm Rahul will talk later, someone is there"
"Okay Bye"
"Bye, good night"
"Good night Priya" he said and i cut the call.
I opened the door and it was bhai.
"Bhai you came?"
"Yes....um are you done talking?"
"Yes, here" i gave his phone to him
"If you want you can talk more"
"No bhai i am done"
"Okay then good night"
Rahul's POV
She called me and literally we talked for 30 Mintues after so long time!
I am feeling so satisfied after talking to her.
I didn't wanted to end the conversation so that's why i told her that she did silly mistakes in her maths test for which she laughed and then we had an argument in which for the first time i lost but i am not feeling sad about it, not even 1%.
I was worried when she told that Aarav Bhaiya got panick Attack but thank god he is fine.
I don't know why i gave her explanation that why i got punishment and when she told my friends are cooler than me! I literally wanted to kill my friends when she said that.
But still i am smiling, she is really very Talkative and smart, not in Maths but still.
I give phone to my mom and do my accounts assignment.
Instead of concentrating on the questions which are written, my mind is asking me some other questions.
This all is just very incomprehensible! Me being so Satisfied and happy talking to Priya.

I am all set to leave but this rain is not giving me any chance to move out.
"Rahul it's call from Yash and Shrey" mom gave me the phone
"Hello?"
"Hey Rahul, yaar we aren't going school today what about you?" Yash Asked
What should i do?? Go or not?? Will Priya come??
Why she will come as her house is very far?
But she can as she travels in Car.
"Hey speak up" i heard Shrey
"Ahh i will see"
"What? Are you serious? When did you became such a bookworm??" Yash said
"I guess the reason is Vibhor" shrey said and both of them chuckled
"Listen Rahul, I don't think your neighbor or Priya will come as the roads are blocked due to excess of water and then just to have a glance of her you will bore yourself for whole day" Yash said
Well he have a point
"Okay i am also not coming and i am not thinking about my neighbor" i said Sharply
Both of them laughed "yeah sure"
"Bye then will meet tomorrow" i said and but the call
"Bye"
I keep the phone aside
"Mom i am not going school"
"Okay.....but about which Neighbour you were talking about?" She asked and i froze

"Ahh mom, our neighbor Vibhor, umm he is in 10 so he asked about books that i have to give him today so that's why i thought of Changing my mind to go school"
"Hmm but you were going to give your books to Priya right?"
"Yes but i will give him one"
"But you can give him in afternoon or evening after all he is neighbor"
"No!"
Mom looked at me
"Ahh i mean i have to take that book from sir first and then i have to give him so i can't" i Smiled in end.
She nodded and went in the Kitchen.
I let out a deep breath, god why am I lying to everyone???
