Rahul's POV
I have been trying my best to ignore Priya as much as i can, because i have too, she isn't meant to be with me!
But this task is so very hard. I try very hard not to look at her while standing in the corridor, i try very hard not to look at her when my friends talk with her's.
I try very hard not to reply when she says Hello, or calls out my name with so much sweetness.
And it's even more hard not to punch that Vibhor when he is close to Priya!!
It's very hard for me to ignore her presence, it's so fucking hard for me.
But i have too because i know, i know she wouldn't be mine. I know it!
Shrey and Yash saw this but they didn't ask me about it till now.
Now it's Games period so my class is walking down to the ground.
I found one more class over there and i soon recognised it to be her's. I saw her running around the ground along with Bhawna.
PT teacher whistled and we all stood in separate girls and boys line.
Don't look at her Rahul, don't!!!!
"Boy's and girl's three round" sir said and first girls began to ran
I saw Priya taking deep breaths and kept her hands on her knees.
I felt a tap on my shoulder.
I looked behind at Yash and raised my brows asking what??
"Run" he said and i looked Infornt.
"Oh" with that i began to run.
After completing Three rounds, we walked to the water taps and washed our faces.
"Hi guys" i heard Priya
I began to wash my face more with water and didn't turn.
"Hi Priya and Bhawna, how are you??" Shrey Asked
"We are cool" Bhawna replied
"So what have you guys decided to play??" Yash asked
"We are not deciding it, other girls are so when they will be done, we would join them" Priya said
"Hey Rahul!! You won't glow like a blub if you keep on washing your face, stop it man" Shrey said with a chuckle.
I wiped my face with my handkerchief and without turning towards her i moved to the Volleyball ground saying "i am going to play, you guys join fast"
I can feel every one of them gazing at me. Just one more week then we will have preparation holidays and that will help me to stay away from her.
But everytime i close my eyes, i find her, i can still feel the peck which i shared with her, yes by mistake but still we did. Her soft lips touched mine.
I shook my head to clear my mind from her thoughts.
Priya's POV
I don't know what is wrong with Rahul. He is ignoring me as if I don't even exist. Sometimes i doubt myself if i am normal person or Mr.India??
He don't look at me, he doesn't talk to me when i try to, just simple nod.
He is not that active and cheerful Rahul, he doesn't even smile that often.
I know something is disturbing him and also that something happened in the Trip due to which he is Ignoring me.
And now i am playing Kho-kho with my friends but also glancing at him while he is playing Volleyball.
Now someone tapped on my back i run to catch the girl but i lost my balance as my foot got twisted.
"Ahh"
As the ground is Hard, i slide on it and hit my chin, knees and palms.
God it's paining like hell.
I know i am clumsy! which i hate the most about myself, i always get hurt because of it.
My left knee is bleeding, even my palms are slightly.
I stand straight and tears slip down my eyes which i tried to control and would even had but as the crowd has surrounded me and they are looking at me with those suspecious eyes if i am hurt or not, which is making me feel more vulnerable.
My knee is hurting so much.
Bhawna is rubbing my Back and saying "don't worry Priya, don't worry let's go to the medical room, you will be fine" she wipes my tears.
I sniff and look at my palms. I cry more aloud.
Sir came up to me and called a boy from my class, who was playing volleyball but instead of him Rahul came Running towards me who was already away from the Volleyball court and near the crowd which surrounded me.
"Yes sir" he said looking at me.
I wiped my tears but as it's hurting so much, i cry more.
"Carry her to the medical room" Sir said and he nodded
Bhawna left my shoulder and Rahul held me in Bridal style.
He moved past the Crowd and even Bhawna is walking with us.
I am just looking at him, he is looked at me slowly, our eyes met, his eyes are saying so much and then turned it back Infornt.
Bhawna opened the Medical room for us and he made me sit on the bed.
There was no teacher.
"I will go and call the teacher" Bhawna said without letting Rahul to protest.
Now only Rahul and i am in the Room.
I sniff and kept looking at him but this Idiot isn't looking at me.
Rahul's POV
I saw how badly she fell on the ground which led to bleeding her knees, plams and even chin.
I tried really hard not to run towards her and console her.
She began to cry which was and is hurting me even more.
I took steps towards her and stopped near the crowd, when sir called a boy, i stepped in and took her in bridal style till here.
Now, as you know we are all alone in here.
She is sniffling and wiping her tears.
I let out a deep breath and said without looking at her "i will just check where Bhawna and Mam is"
I took a step forward but then she held my wrist.
"Please stay with me" she said in a shaking low voice
I looked at our hands and then at her. Her eyes puffed up due to crying and is sniffling.
Fresh tears dropped from her eyes and slowly took steps towards her.
I cupped her face and wiped the tears with my thumb. I can't see her like this, in pain.
"Is it hurting?" I asked softly
She nodded
"Why are you so clumsy?? Can't you run properly??" I scolded her
She giggled "how can i, when my mind is on someone who is ignoring me from past 3 months"
More tears began to flow from her eyes, my heart is aching.
I controlled my tears which are making my vision blur.
I turned my back towards her.
"Why are you ignoring?" She asked in low voice
A curl up my fist and close my eyes.
"Why Rahul??"
I blink my eyes fast to avoid myself from crying.
"Okay don't tell, i will get to know myself" she said in a bit high voice
Soon Bhawna along with Teacher entered in and i came out of the room Immediately.
I Reached the playground, Shrey and Yash rushed towards me "how is she??" They asked
"Fine"
"Anything happened between you two?" Yash asked with concern
I shook my head
"Then why are you ignoring her?" Shrey asked with knitted brows
Bell rang and i said "let's go to our class"
Without waiting for them i walked in for my class.
