Ashish got busy in welcoming guests.and very soon he met his childhood friend Myra who has come from abroad recently..Myra hugged Ashish as soon as she saw him.. This scene didn't escape from Riya's eyes..She looked at the girl and felt she was more beautiful than her. Her dressing style, her hair style were indeed impressive.She felt much inferior in front of her.." Wait, why should I compare myself with her", Riya said to herself..Little later, Seeing Anika coming towards them,  Riya immediately stood up and walked towards her.. the waiter who was serving drinks collided with her and a little drink sprinkled on her dress..Anika apologised Riya on waiter's behalf and glared at the waiter for his behaviour and was about to scold him, but Riya interrupted and said," Ma'am, it's my mistake don't scold him,can you please tell me the direction of washroom, I will wash it before it becomes a strain"." Come I will take you", Anika said..No Ma'am ,you have a lot of guests to attend ,you just tell me the way I will go by myself..Nidhi stood up saying," I  will accompany you" ,but Riya  rejected and said," Common Nidhi,I am not a kid, I will come back"Anika told her the way and Riya walked towards the direction..When she was walking inside the house she overheard two ladies saying, " The one with Ashish is Myra and they are very good friends.. I heard Ashish mom saying they are thinking to make her  their daughter in law"Riya stood rooted for a while with tears in her eyes when she heard them.." Riya ,look at the people around you, their servants earn more than you, even if Ashish accepts you,will his family accept you??..No Riya you are thinking of something which will never happen even in your dreams..He is out of your reach..  So just stop thinking about him  and stop hurting yourself", she said to herself and looked at Ashish.." He was smiling and the girl beside him was hitting him playfully.. She really looked good with each other.. She was in no mood to party, so before walking out she called Nidhi and lied that she met one of her colleague here and she is not feeling well. she will drop her home and go back to her flat.." But Riya, how will you go??"" it's not that late Nidhi, don't worry, I will book a cab and will call you immediately after reaching home"Before Nidhi could say something , RIYA immediately disconnected the call, booked a cab and walked outside..****On the other hand Ashish was Stuck with his friend.. She was not giving him a chance to go.. out of courtesy he stood there with her talking with other friends..After some time, he somehow excused himself and walked towards the table where Aditya and Kabir were sitting.  When he reached he realised that there were only 4 people sitting . Where is Riya? Where did she go??He looked around but  didn't spot her..Nidhi, where is Riya ?? she was with you when I came earlier.. he asked..Nidhi told him what Riya told her earlier.."Colleagues , they have invited only higher level management from office due to security reasons, and there is no chance she would have left with them", Ashish knitted his eyebrows thinking about Riya's sudden departure..He took out his phone to call her, but she didn't attend his call..He started to worry about her safety..On the other hand, Sanjay reached the venue with his parents. As soon as he entered he saw Anika greeting guests with a smile.. Her canine teeth make her look even more beautiful when she smiles.He and his parents walked towards Mr.Hooda to wish him.. Anika was standing beside her father and moved away when she saw Sanjay coming towards them..He expected this, he knew she would not welcome him..With a heavy heart he wished Mr.Hooda and walked towards a table in the corner.. His gaze never left Anika.. She was looking stunning as usual..Little later, A  young man along with her father and mother walked towards Anika's father to wish him.." Happy Birthday Mr.Hooda".."Thank you and welcome to  the party ,Mr. Singh."Mr.Singh and Mr. Hooda were business friends.. His son was managing their business overseas..This young man is your son??""Yes uncle, I am Riyansh Singh.."Nice to meet you Riyansh and welcome to the party.."thank you uncle and happy birthday",he said, giving him a bouquet.."thank you, thank you".." Anika, Riyansh is not familiar with anyone here, so accompany him so that he won't get bored", Anika's father said. " She understood  her father's intentions.. He told her earlier that he will introduce a man to her.if she likes him they can get married.."Riyansh is 6 feet tall with a well built body and sharp features, his education, his family background everything matches with Anika's..She gave a smile to her father as if she has agreed and said," Mr.Riyansh ,let's go"She has already postponed her wedding for so long but her parents are not ready to listen  to any of her explanations anymore  and wanted her to get married this year at any cost.. as a result they chose Riyansh..Anika walked him to the nearby table and sat in front of him..She called the waiter and asked him to bring some snacks and drinks for Riyansh..Riyansh couldn't take his eyes off Anika. He was happy that his parents had selected such a beautiful girl for him..Whereas Anika was struggling inside to accept a new person in her heart.. "Anika,  to be frank I liked you the second I saw you.. I heard you have many business conversations with dad and he has a very good impression on you.. when he spoke about  you I thought he is gloating so that I can come back and marry you.I saw your photo and searched about you on the internet and got to know about your achievements.. You are not the type of girl who enjoys their family fortune without any hard work,but a girl who has taken her father's business to the next level..I admire you..and the day I returned from the U.S , I saw you at the traffic signal helping a poor little girl who was struggling to cross the road.. You got down from the car and made her cross the road. I fell for you the very next  moment . You are the heiress of such a huge business empire and you are  still down to earth.. I cannot make a decision in a hurry.. I hope you understand""I am absolutely fine with it, in fact what you said is true.. but to know me  more you have to spend some quality time with me.. I will be in the city for the next three months.. I hope you will give me enough chances to know me more"Anika smiled and nodded.. Sanjay who was sitting far away was looking at Anika and Riyansh with envy in his eyes.The way Riyansh was looking at her clearly says that he is very much interested in her and even Anika was listening to him.. what is happening?? Is he his new love rival?? He needs to find who he is ?? He became restless at the thought of someone snatching his Anika away from him.
