Riya reached the hospital and rushed towards the operation theatre where her mom was waiting anxiously.."Mom", she rushed towards her..Where were you?? they have just taken dad into the operation theatre.. When Riya was about to ask who paid the money, Raghu forcefully took her hand and said," Why did you leave the marriage in between?? don't you want your father to live??Riya's mom was shocked to hear him." What marriage?? what are you talking about??"" Didn't you teach your daughter to not go back on her word??""Riya, what is he talking about??""She agreed to marry me in return of money..", he spoutedRiya felt a hard slap on her face.. it was her mother.. she was fuming with anger..à"How can you do this Riya?? We struggled all our life to make you financially independent and lead a better life  not to marry an old man like him and destroy your life ..", her whole body was shaking with anger. "Mother- in -law, don't be angry.. come Riya let's complete the wedding rituals and come back", Raghu took Anika's hand. "  Who is your MIL??, dare you call me that.. Leave her, otherwise I will kill you", Anika's mom roared. "Raghu smirked as if he didn't care and grabbed Riya's hand tightly and was dragging her. Riya struggled to get her hand from his grip shouting," Leave me"Raghu felt a strong hand on his shoulder making him bend little., he turned around to see who it was.He saw a man in his  twenties standing in front of him and staring him with sharp eyes giving him a jolt in his back.. his inner voice said, " this man seems to be strong""Who are you?? What do you want??""Leave her hand", he said very calmly.."What if I don't?", Raghu smirked..He calmly took Raghu's left hand and twisted it in one go.. One can hear the bone breaking sound.Raghu cried in pain and left Anika's hand and squatted down..The man squatted down too, looked at Raghu  with sharp eyes and said," Stay away from Riya if you want to live for a few more years, otherwise you will end up in one of the ICU  beds of the same hospital", his voice was calm..Raghu managed to get up from the ground and immediately rushed towards the orthopaedic section to treat himself.." I don't know who you are?? but you saved my husband and My daughter's life.. I am indebted for my whole life.. Who are you son??"Riya, who was in a shock to see the man in front of her, gulped her saliva and said, " Mom ,he is Ashish Hooda.  my boss".."Oh really!! thank you son, thank you so much.. ", she joined her two hands showing her gratitude.."Aunty, please don't,Riya applied for a loan before coming here so on humanity grounds I have come here to pay the fee.."Ashish was very angry with Riya  when he heard the conversation between Raghu and her mom.. Even though he looked calm he was boiling from inside..How can she spoil her life by marrying a scum like him..?? He had an urge to release his anger on her.but what right does he have on her?? this thought made him quiet..He turned around  and left from there and Riya followed him quietly..when he was about to enter his car, Riya stopped him from calling from behind." Sir, thank you so much.. "He turned around and saw tears in her eyes.. his heart ached when he  saw her.. He folded his hands and looked into her  eyes without saying anything for a few minutes..Riya felt a shiver in her spine when she saw his cold eyes..she turned her gaze and was searching for the random spot to fix her gaze.." I will be staying in the hotel for the time being, any help just call me.. " He said and got into his car and drove away..Riya stood there without moving for a few seconds. She didn't know why she felt guilty as if she had  cheated on her bf.Whereas Ashish was feeling angry and sad at the same time.. When he reached the hotel room he threw the vase on the table forcefully to vent out his anger. If he would have come late for a few minutes she would have destroyed her life and she would have gone away from him..But why is the thought of losing her making him so uncomfortable..why did I rush after her to her hometown, he would have just transferred the money into the hospital's account..He had an urge to see her and share her pain.. but why??These thoughts were driving him crazy..On the other hand, Riya's father's operation went well and doctors said he is out of danger and shifted him back to the ICU for observation..Riya and her mother felt relieved.." They didn't eat anything in the morning.. as they heard the good news now, Riya said " Mom, let's go out for  lunch Dad is anyways unconscious and doctors will not let us in"" Riya's mom was angry on her.. she didn't talk to her at all after  knowing  Riya decided to marry secretly"She averted her gaze and didn't respond.."Mom, I know I was wrong.. I did it all   to save dad.. I didn't find any other option.. Slap me maa, but please talk to me..", she took her mom's hands and slapped her face.Seeing tears in daughter's eyes ,her mother hugged her tightly and both mother and daughter cried in each other's embrace...They finally got up and walked out and saw a small restaurant in the distance.. and when they were about to cross the road she saw Ashish's car from a distance..He might be coming for them.." Mom, my boss' car", looks like he is coming for us.Riya's mom had a good impression on Ashish..Soon the car stopped in front of them.. he got out of the car, " Aunty how about uncle's operation??".. "operation is successful by god's grace"Ashish smiled and said," that's great news, but where are you going??""we are going for lunch"Ashish has come to meet Riya and her mother as he is returning back..even though he was missing her  he didn't look at her.."If you don't mind, can I join you?? even , I haven't had my lunch..""Sure son, come let's go."There is a good restaurant nearby. Come let's go.. he opened the car door for her mother and closed it as if he was saying Riya is not welcome..He walked towards the driver seat and sat there but didn't start the car, waiting for Riya to get in..Riya had tears in her eyes when she felt  he ignored her like thin air."Riya,why are you standing out, come get in.. don't make your boss waiting"Riya's mother was feeling grateful towards Ashish and didn't want to offend him..  She immediately agreed for lunch with him in the restaurant he selected because she knew he cannot eat the food in a small restaurant that they chose..Riya opened the car door and sat beside him in the co-pilot seat..Soon the car stopped in front of the restaurant and the three of them walked inside and got seated at the empty table..Riya was still staring Ashish but he didn't even give a look at her" Riya, why are you hurt?? is this not what you wanted.. you wanted to stay away from him and now if he is doing the same,why are you so hurt..She controlled her tears and sat beside her mother facing Ashish..Neither of them talked during the lunch but occasionally he spoke to Riya's mother.After lunch, Ashish drove them back to hospital and when they were about to get down he said," Aunty , I am returning back to my city.. if you need anything you can call me.. " Give your phone  I will feed my number in it"Riya' mom smiled and gave her phone to him saying," Riya must have your number""but she forgot to call me when it is required", he said typing his number on her phone..Is he angry that I didn't call him?? "But I called you", she was about to say but he Interrupted looked into her eyes  straight making her gulping her saliva and said," I have approved your leave ,you can join back when your father is back to normal"She nodded and looked directly into his Eyes with tears..His heart skipped a beat when he directly looked into her eyes..He was observing her from the beginning from the corner of his eye.. He in fact has come to see her as he will not be able to see her for some time in his office..His inner voice said" this girl is doing some kind of magic to your heart..but he  denied it..Riya ,I think We should leave now, thank you so much  for what all you did for us.. My whole family is indebted for you"Don't say that aunty, just take care of uncle..She nodded and got down.. Riya who didn't move her gaze from him got down and walked towards the driver seat to say bye to him..He looked at her one last time and drove the car reluctantly from there…
