Day's passed and Riya's father was slowly recovering and discharged from the hospital. "Riya, I think you should go back to the office now.. it's been very long since you have been here... I am  recovering and mom is there to take care of me.I think you should go back", her father said. " Yes Riya, your boss is such a nice person , just because he is nice to you we can't take him for granted.it's not good to take leave for long.. I think you should go back now", Her mom continued.." Riya nodded her head and agreed"..She walked towards her room and sat on the bed thinking about Ashish.. The way he  ignored her that day was making her feel miserable. she has an  urge  to confront him but, " what right do I have ?? ", what will I ask him??If he doesn't have feelings for me, then I will become a fool.. and I can't work there any more.. and right now for surviving my family, a job is very important.. "Thinking about the consequences she slowly started packing her bag..An hour later she picked up her mobile and typed a message," Sir, I will report to office tomorrow morning""When are you starting??", she got an immediate reply.." An hour later", she replied.. she didn't receive any message later..She felt disappointed and walked towards her parents and said," Mom, dad take care of yourself, anything just call me.. she put her hand in her hand bag, removed the stack of cash ,gave it to her mom and said," This is some money I am left with.. I know it's very little but try to manage with this.  next month my internship will be finished and I will become a regular employee which will also increase my salary, and we will be able to live better life"Riya's parents had tears in her eyes."Who needs a son when you have a daughter like you.. we are blessed to have you as our child. ", Riya's mom said with tears in her eyes." mom, I am part of you.. how can I leave my parents struggling for their life .. I have done nothing extraordinary.. you people have seen so many hardships in your life to make me what I am now.. now it's my turn to take care of you.. so don't be sentimental and emotional and make me cry.. ", she hugged her mom with tears in her eyes..Riya's mother patted her back and said," Now you are making me cry"..Riya left her mother, pulled her cheeks and said," You know what everyone says I look beautiful when I smile and only I know that I have derived this beautiful smile from you..So give me your cute smile and bid me a bye".Riya's mother smiled patted her cheeks and said," you have learnt how to talk , Take care of yourself and eat on time"Riya  nodded and squatted down  on the bed  placing  her head on her dad's Shoulder, wrapped her hands around his arms and said," Dad, take care"He stroked her hair and said, " I am fine now my princess.. you take care of yourself"After bidding bye to her parents ,she took the bus and left the town..when  Riya reached her destination it was getting dark and the city was  dazzling with the lights..She got down from the bus and walked out and saw a familiar figure standing outside..Her heart skipped a beat when she saw him.. What is he doing here?? did he come to pick me up or someone else?? " No, No, why will he come to pick me??, he ignored me completely as if I didn't exist that day.. " She  wanted to avoid him but as  he saw her, She slowly walked towards his direction to greet him."Hello sir"" Get in", he said..She was surprised.. Did he talk to her??She looked around  to make sure the words were for her..He was observing her quietly.She walked to the other side and sat in the co-pilot seat..He smiled and got into the car.." How is your dad now??", he asked, starting the car..Riya's heart was thumping heavily to sit beside him.."He is recovering sir, thank you".. Did you come to pick me up?? she had an urge to ask.But she didn't dare to. She swallowed her words and watched the city quietly from the car window..Soon they reached the community where they stay.. He parked the car and both of them walked towards the elevator.. both of them wanted to speak and ask so much to each other but neither of them took the initiative.When they reached their respective flats he said, " get freshed, you must be tired of journey, we will go out for dinner"Riya's eyes went wide when she heard him..before she could process what he said, he already entered his flat.She walked in quietly, laid on the bed for some time to relax her back ,took out the clothes from her wardrobe and walked out towards the bathroom..She quickly changed into  simple blue jeans and black shirt. tied her  hair up into a pony.  She rarely applies makeup, so she applied a little moisturiser and lip balm.. She looked at herself in the mirror and when she thought she was perfect.. she took her mobile from the bed and was about to call him, but  her mobile rang..It was him.." Are you ready??""Yes sir"" come out then"She nodded and walked out of the flat.Ashish too walked out and saw Riya Infront of his flat. Seeing her after so long and taking her out made him feel delighted.." Let's go", he said.Soon they reached the nearby restaurant and sat across the empty table and quickly ordered the food..Under the restaurant lights ,Riya was looking stunning.. he couldn't take his eyes off her.. Ashish stare  made  Riya blush.He smiled very little when he saw the little shy girl in front of him..Soon they finished dinner and reached their apartment..Riya opened her flat door but before  entering she gathered some courage  asked , "Sir ,are you angry at me??"" Should I be??"Riya didn't understand what to say.." Sir, actually I didn't have any other option that time", she said in a low voice.So,You decided to marry that fellow who is of your father's age?? Ashish was angry.. Riya's head  hung low.He was controlling himself for a long time but he couldn't anymore.. He pushed Riya inside her house, pinned her to the door, looked into her eyes and asked," why did you ignore me after my dad's birthday?? and why didn't you call me for money???Riya was shocked by his sudden actions.. He was so close to her making her breathing heavy.. and this sudden question made her even more astonished"I ,I..." she stammered..I, what ???? He was directly looking into her eyes.."I didn't ignore you... ",She lied and  pushed him  back and tried to walk away but he didn't give her that chance . He caught her hand and pulled her on himself making her hands fall on his chest."Look into my eyes and tell the truth..", His actions were making Riya Crazy..she gulped her saliva and said," I will tell you only if you promise me not to terminate my job"if you don't tell me the truth , I will terminate you immediately..She closed her eyes tightly so that she can avoid his gaze and said," I overheard someone saying you are about to marry your childhood friend ".. He chuckled and said," open your eyes  and look at me"Riya slowly opened her eyes and saw a smile on Ashish's lips.." What does it have to do with you if I marry someone??", he said, tucking her hair behind her ear..She removed his hand angrily and said," Then go play with the  hair of someone  who you are going to marry , why are you playing with mine"..He chuckled and looked into her eyes with a lot of love and said," I was playing with the hair of someone who I want to marry, but she is not allowing me to"..In anger she didn't understand what he said," so you are playing with mine??"He didn't reply but was looking at her with a smile on his lips..What,hmmm  why are  you smiling?You know how many times I called you that day?  at one point of time your  Mobile was switched off and other time you were not reachable, and now you say I didn't contact you",Riya shouted  and punched on his chest with   tears in her eyes.."I am sorry" he said, wiping her tears and pulling her closer to him..She stepped back as if she remembered something and said," sir, I think you should go now??"Ashish didn't understand why she suddenly said that.."sir, you are getting married to someone else.. it's better you don't come to my flat in future..",she said wiping her tears.."ok , I will leave from here but just tell me why do you have tears in your eyes if  I get married to someone else??", he said walking closer to  her.."because I", she stammered..because what?? "because I love you", she closed her eyes and revealed the truth.Ashish wanted to listen these words from her mouth.. he cupped her face looked into her eyes and slowly said," why do you think I have come to your town then, why do think I care for you ???, stupid  because I love you too"
