Aditya's POVI kept staring at her when she was eating a sandwich. Her almond shaped eyes  were swollen, her perfectly shaped long  nose   was red because of continuous crying, her long and slender fingers looked very delicate, her lips were like cupid bows.Her black voluminous waist  length hair is tied into a pony.I was lost in her beauty, and came back to my senses when I heard her mobile ring.Mobile was on the table and I could see the name " Vihaan" displaying on it.I remembered the name of the guy who Sanjana was supposed to get engaged to is "Vihaan".She  rejected the call  when she saw his name. But the mobile rang again more than 5 times but  she didn't receive it.I had an urge to strangle that guy for disturbing her.She looked at me and said," sir let's leave ".Canteen was located on the Ground floor and Sanjana's mom was on the 5th floor.When we entered the lift  I saw only a few people in it. I stood behind Sanjana , but very soon , many people entered one after the other and pushed Sanjana back, and she fell on me , unconsciously my hands fell on her arm to hold her so that she couldn't fall down.She was very very close to me for a few seconds, and my poor heart started beating rapidly..She immediately stood straight and said," Sorry sir, I lost my balance".I was bubbling over with joy ,but didn't express it on my face " It's ok, are you alright?she nodded her headWhen we entered  Rekha aunty's room.she was still unconscious.It was already evening, my mom must be tired ,so I said, " Mom, I have called the driver to come over, so you go home ,I will be here along with Sanjana to take care of Aunty."My mom agreed..Soon the driver arrived and mom left.Aunty is still unconscious whereas Sanjana leaned back  on the chair.I sat on the couch in the room, observing my sweet heart from a distance.I was feeling happy because I could see her the whole night.Because of the hectic day she had , Sanjana dozed off on a chair.Little later, Rekha aunty regained her consciousness. I walked towards her and asked ,how is she feeling?She signalled she is better now.She looked at Sanjana, she was still sleeping like a baby.I was about to wake her up, but aunty whispered," let her sleep and don't disturb her."I felt , Mom's are a really wonderful species, for them their children are everything.Sanjana woke up after a while and saw her mother, she shouted ," Mom, you are awake? , how are you feeling now?, and why didn't you wake me up?". Her voice was hoarse.'relax beta ,I am fine ", she whispered.As aunty couldn't speak much, I said," Sanjana, aunty didn't want you to disturb you because you looked very tired and I am anyway here to take care if anything is needed, so just calm down".Sanjana looked at me and said," thank you sir".I nodded and said, I will go out for some fresh air, you take care of aunty.She nodded and I came out of the hospital. I wanted to give some privacy to mother and daughter.I immediately called mom and said, "Rekha aunty regained her consciousness and she is good now, so don't worry".I know she is worried about her friend.She was relaxed after hearing me and said, " I will come tomorrow morning".I went to the nearby hotel, packed some food for myself and Sanjana and went inside the ward.Aunty fell asleep again.The ward has a small table with two chairs.I put the food on the table and said, Sanjana , wash your hands,let's eat some food.She didn't resist this time  and sat across the table and we ate our dinner quietly.This is the first time I  am eating dinner with her alone, so I ate a little more than usual.There was a single bed in the room, so I asked Sanjana to sleep on it and I slept on the couch.Next morning, by 6:00 am my mom and dad  arrived, me and Sanjana just woke up as the duty doctor was checking Rekha aunty.She said everything is alright. After she left, mom said , "Aditya ,Sanjana go home ,get freshed up and come, we will take care of Rekha here."Sanjana saw my dad for the first time so she greeted him.Dad stared at her for a while and said," You are the replica of Rekha sis and Manoj. Happy to see you beta"."Thank you uncle, nice to meet you too", she replied.Sanjana and myself came out of the hospital together, when she was about to book a taxi , I said Sanjana ``I will drop you home, get ready and will drop you back in the hospital"." But sir, you will be late for office, I can manage, I have already troubled you enough, I can't anymore, I will go by cab"."It's ok Sanjana, even I can manage so don't worry. just wait for a while here , I will bring my car".She sat in the co- pilot seat in my car. We didn't speak throughout the journey, and dropped her at her house." I  will be back in an hour, so be ready",I said and left.Sanjana's POVAditya helped me a lot today. I don't know why I felt very courageous when he was with me. He stayed back for mom in the night and slept on the couch, his tall body didn't fit in, but still he managed to sleep.How lucky I would have been if he was doing all these for me.Sanjana you are overthinking, he is just helping you because of Mamta aunty, I said to myself.Because I slept for a while , I couldn't sleep, and saw Aditya sleeping peacefully.he is good looking, tall, sharp featured, and most importantly very intelligentThe person who I used to admire in magazines and T.V is  sleeping  right Infront of me.I felt blushing seeing him.. I admired his features for a while and slowly fell asleep.Next day morning, I met Aditya's father. He looked  like a very nice person.When I came out of the hospital, I wanted to book a cab , but Aditya didn't allow me to do so and dropped me home, I don't know why I started feeling comfortable with him.I went inside the house, quickly took a shower got ready and came in to the living area, I wanted to drink a strong coffee, I was about to go into the kitchen but I heard doorbell. I thought it's Aditya  and opened the door.To my surprise it was vihaan. He looked haggard.He has been continuously calling me since yesterday, but I was not in a mood to talk to him.I wanted to talk to him peacefully before I end this.I took a deep breath and walked inside the house and he followed me.He sat on a couch opposite to me, leaned forward, resting his hands on his thighs, lifted his head and looked straight into my eyes.His eyes were red and  he looked very pitiful."Sanjana, I know, my family was wrong, they were influenced by your neighbours Mr and Mrs Verma. They said they will give more dowry for their daughter and my parents became greedy, but trust me Sanjana, I don't want dowry, I only want you in my life, just say yes , we will get married in the temple and I will take you away from my family, I promise I will treat you like a princess and will respect your mom for my whole life, please Sanjana ,say yes, please".
