Sanjana   woke up early and reached the Hooda group of industries.It's office is really big.She  took a deep breath, prayed to God in her  heart and entered the reception area. She  was asked to go to 29 th floor for an interview. When she  arrived , she saw many people sitting in the lobby waiting for the interview.They all looked very experienced but have still come for junior  personal  assistant job, just because it's a top notch company and the pay structure is too good.She  had a fear in her heart but remembered her  mom's words," Do your best Sanjana, and have faith in God, everything will be alright".She  patted herself and waited for her turn and soon she was called inside.Sanjana  saw a beautiful woman  with fair skin in her mid  twenties. She was neatly dressed, her hair tied up in a  bun.Sanjana has  read about her. She is the CEO of the Hood group of industries, " Anika Hooda".She completed her MBA from Harvard and took over the business immediately. She is quite talented. If sanjana  gets selected,  she will be working under her.Anika  looked at  Sanjana and signalled her to take the seat. Sanjana was nervous but didn't show it and  tried to look confident.Anika  looked at Sanjana's  profile and appreciated her  for her academic record." Ok Sanjana, let's start the interview.", Anika said.**************"Being my junior assistant I want a person who can do multitasking, soIn your own words, what is multitasking?", Anika asked "I define multitasking as doing multiple things or carrying out multiple tasks at once. It helps in getting tasks completed at a faster rate, which improves productivity.'" Good, What is the secret to successful multitasking?""The only secret to successful multitasking is prioritization.Once you understand which tasks hold the most importance, you excel at completing all of your tasks.""How do you determine your priorities?""When it comes to priorities, I use my own system.I first consider any specified due dates.The next consideration is how long it takes to complete a task. In many cases, I prioritize easier tasks firstDoing so allows me to accomplish more throughout the day.If I have to multitask and finish all tasks in the same amount of time, I break down tasks into smaller objectives. With smaller objectives, I determine which ones are most critical for getting the full task done and prioritize them first.""the way you described I feel you  have seen someone  one doing multitasking?",Anika askedSanjana smiled and said, " My mom", I have seen her multitasking in the kitchen. Not only my mom, any middle class woman ,the way she works in  the morning, taking care of the kitchen, making her kids ready for school, cleaning the house, sending husband to the office, getting herself ready  for the office, everything involves a lot of multitasking.I feel mom's are the best multitaskers.A smile appeared on Anika's lips ." Hmmm,Why should I hire you for this position as you are just a fresher??"" Even though I am a fresher, I assure you that I will give my best and work to my full potential so that I can contribute as much as I can towards the growth and welfare of this great brand.", Sanjana replied."If you get selected , you will  be working under my P.A  and you will be under probation for 3 months. If I like your work you will become my regular employee, and you have to slowly take over my P.A as I am sending him to  another branch to take care of things. so it will be a kind of training period for you."ok mam", said sanjana"ok, you can leave, if you get selected, you will get a call from my office by today evening."Sanjana nodded and left the room.*****Sanjana's POVI received a call in the evening saying that I am selected and I have to report to the office tomorrow.I was delighted to hear the news,I thanked god in my heart  for million times and immediately called Nidhi to share my happiness." Wow!! Sanjana congratulations ,it's time for celebration, let's go out for dinner today!'' Nidhi screamed."Of course Nidhi, let's celebrate today",I replied.Ok then see you in an hour, Nidhi replied and disconnected the call.I was eagerly waiting for my mom 's return from school.As soon as I heard the doorbell , I opened it and hugged my mom immediately."Sanjana ,why are you so happy? what happened beta " ,my mom enquired."Mom, I got a job in the Hooda group of industries as a junior assistant", there was happiness and excitement in my Voice.My mom's face was filled with joy but  there  were also  tears in her eyes.She said, "  congratulations beta ,your dad would have been very happy if he would have been alive.I sighed and consoled her saying," His blessings are with me and he will be feeling happy for me  from heaven.and right now  he is also angry at you  for not making Gulab jamun for his daughter on this happy occasion", I replied.My mom slowly tapped my cheeks and said," Naughty girl".Ok ok, this naughty girl will make a  coffee  for you, you go and get freshed, I acted coyish.She  took a few steps and remembered something  turned towards my side and asked," Sanjana ,you wanted  to join a jewellery course , but why do you want to take this job? Give me some time beta, I will arrange money for your course."MAA, don't worry , I enquired, there is a college which offers part-time jewellery designing course, where I can take classes on weekends, and mom you have been working hard from the day dad left us,  now I feel you should take rest, and let me take up this responsibility", I replied.She stroked my hair gently and said," my princess has really grown up.but darling,the school has become a part of my life , I feel happy when I am surrounded with kids, so let me continue the job, hmmmm"I sighed and said ok.
