Nidhi's POVHe stopped and turned towards me. I said,'' Kabir, I think you should return home, you even have a baby now, I think aunty and uncle will definitely accept your marriage , at least because of the kid".I kissed his daughter's beautiful chubby  hands and said," she is so beautiful, her grandparents will be happy to see her"."I don't think they will agree with Nidhi", he replied."I will talk to aunty today and will try my best to persuade her and  I know it's difficult with uncle but atleast to see his granddaughter he will allow you to enter the Villa", I replied.He looked hesitant, but Nandini said " let's try"  and he  unwillingly agreed.He gave his visiting card to me and said," call me to this number after speaking to my mom".I smiled and said goodbye to the couple and left home.From the mall, I went directly to Kabir's villa.I saw his mom in the garden. She smiled at me, and said, " Hey Nidhi!! come, come"I smiled and enquired " Aunty how  about your health?"I am feeling very lonely Nidhi, I have nothing to do at home, everything is managed by the housekeeping staff.Earlier ,I used to cook for Kabir at least, but now", she paused and there were tears in her eyes."Now cook for your grandchild and take care of her, you will not feel bored", I replied casually looking at the flowers in the garden.She paused and looked at me, there was surprise in her eyes."Nidhi, what do you say? Did you meet Kabir , did you really see my grandchild?", there was surprise and happiness  in her voice and eyes.I smiled inwardly and casually said," yeah!! I met them in the mall, I saw your granddaughter, she is really super cute"."Do you have her pictures?", she asked.I said " no".There was disappointment in her eyes.Aunty, "why don't you call Kabir and his wife to come over for dinner tonight, you can see her directly"Her eyelids  flickered, I felt  she was ready to accept the couple.She slowly asked," did you meet her?"I know who she  is referring to?" She is very beautiful and polite woman aunty, I really liked  her", I replied.she said "Hmmm" and said, " I should speak to your uncle for calling them"There was disappointment in her voice.I took her hands in mine and said," Aunty ,you know uncle well, try to persuade him, I hope his heart will also melt after hearing about his granddaughter". She nodded her head , kissed my forehead and said ," thank you Nidhi".I smiled and said," I can accept your thank you only if I get a nice coffee made by you"She smiled and took me inside the house and went into the kitchen.I sat on the dining table and  messaged Kabir ," Mission Aunty successful".He immediately responded with a big smiley and  " thank you".when I left Kabir's house, I felt satisfaction in my heart, even though I couldn't marry him, I want to see him live happily with his family".Maybe his happiness is my happiness.maybe this is called  love.I want you to be happy for your whole life Kabir.Next day early morning, I received a call from Kabir. My heart  beat  speedend to  see his name on my mobile , this is the first time I am receiving a call from him. I controlled the anxiety in my Voice   before I took   the call." Hey Nidhi, thank you so much, I don't know how you persuaded my mom, she called me just now and invited me to lunch along with Nandini". His voice was low ,but I could  hear gratitude in his voice.I smiled and said," I didn't do much, it's your daughter's magic that worked on aunty and uncle, anyways happy for you Kabir".  "thank you once again Nidhi" He disconnected the call.I was on cloud nine to speak to him.I ran towards kitchen to inform about Kabir to my mom and Grandma.when I was speaking, I heard my doorbell. It was Kabir's mom. She smiled and kissed me on my forehead and said " thank you Nidhi, it's because of you I could see my children".I smiled.She went to the kitchen to give the news to my mom and grandma.She said, " Rajini, my daughter in law and grand daughter are coming home for first time, I want you and aunty( my grandma) to come over and give blessings and have lunch with us.( Rajini is my mom)My grandma was very excited and said, " why not, we will definitely come and while coming I will bring fish curry too, Kabir loves it."Kabir's mom smiled and said ," thank you aunty, I have to leave now, I have to make preparations", she hurriedly left.By 11:00 am, my mother and my grandmother tagged me to Kabir's house.When we reached ,I saw Kabir's house was decorated with flowers.Very soon we heard the sound of the car.Kabir's mom took a Puja plate which has flowers and two diyas lit in it to welcome the couple..Kabir got out of the car,  opened the passenger seat ,took the baby in his arms and supported Nandini to get down from the car.The family of three looked like the picture in the portrait,so beautiful.Kabir's mom welcomed them by taking their Aarthi by rotating the Puja plate around them  she had brought with her  and asked them to enter the house.She gave the Puja plate to the maid, hugged Nandini and said, "welcome home beta".Nandini smiled and touched  Kabir's mom and dad's feet to seek blessings.   Kabir's mom  took the baby from his arms , and asked how old is she?"4 months" ,Nandini replied.Did you people name her? Kabir's mom asked."We want  the cradle ceremony to be performed with all your presence and blessings mom", Kabir replied.Yes, yes then we will perform a cradle ceremony in our house then , as the baby has already entered her 5th month , Kabir's mom was delighted."You call the priest and ask him the auspicious time and day for the baby cradle and Naming ceremony", Kabir's mom told  his  dad.He nodded and replied with a smile.The entire family was happy, and we all moved for lunch.After lunch, Kabir's mom asked Nandini about her parents whereaboutsShe said ,"her parents died two years back in an accident and she has a sister who lives in the U.S and is pursuing M.S.""Don't worry beta, We all are there  for you.", Kabir's mom replied. I felt bad for Nandini, maybe that's the reason why God gave her Kabir, I felt she needs Kabir more than me. Soon the lunch ended and I was about to go home when Nandini called me, gave a hug to me  and said," Thank you Nidhi, this happiness would have not come into my life without you, thank you so much for uniting me with this family".I smiled   at her and  said  "congratulations  Nandini, All the best for your new life."
