Recap-

"Axel?" I felt the impending doom from the situation that both of us were currently in. We were probably going to die.

I looked up at Axel, and to my surprise, his eyes were pitch black. His sclera was even black.

Fur was growing on his arms, and his fingers were turning into claws.

He almost looked like a werewolf.

But those didn't exist, right?

"Axel?" I tapped his shoulder. "Hello?"

"Yes?" The fur that was on his arms was gone and his fingers looked normal again. What the hell? I knew that I had seen something weird, it couldn't have just been in my head. His body was still shaking, and I could tell by the look on his face that he was trying really hard to hold something back.

"What-" Before I could even finish my sentence, one of the three wolves jumped at us. I closed my eyes and cringed, but never felt the bite from the wolf. Slowly, I opened my eyes and found myself on the ground. The three wolves had all been torn to pieces, but there was another wolf that had appeared. I had seen this wolf before. Its eyes were green and its fur was black.

It was the same wolf I had seen in the forest!

(Chapter 8)

I had napped for about ten minutes before I heard a rustling in the woods. I heard a growl, and my eyes snapped open. Was that an animal? Unlike most horror movie victims, I shut my mouth, and laid as still as possible. A humongous black wolf jumped out of a tree. Its fur was the exact same color as Blake and Axel's hair. It was way bigger than any wolf I had seen online, it looked like it took steroids. Surprisingly, it didn't attack me, but rather walked over to me and laid its head on my knees. Tentatively, I used my hand to rub its head, and it purred.

"You're like a big cat," I giggled as the wolf wrinkled its nose as if it didn't agree. Its fur was soft, and as it looked up at me, I realized something. Its eyes were the same exact shade of green that Blake and Axel's were. While I was debating that with myself in my head, an exactly identical wolf came out of the trees and walked over to me, it had a chain necklace around its neck. Its eyes were the same exact color.

I flipped over the necklace on his neck, and read it.

There was only one word.

A name.

Emma.

"What the fück?" I spat out. I didn't usually swear but I was in pain, I was confused, and I was a little bit angry, so I couldn't stop myself. "Axel?"

Quickly, I inched away as the wolf started to look at me. The adrenaline in my system was wearing off, and I could feel a burning sensation from my injuries. The wolf took one step towards me, and I turned around and ran back up the stairs into the school. Thankfully, I didn't trip down the stairs, (for once in my life), and I was able to get away from the wolf. I didn't care if the wolf had been nice to me before. It was a wild animal, and you can never predict what they would do.

While running down the hallway, I ran into someone. I sighed in relief as I saw who I had slammed my head into.

"Aaron!" I huffed. "You won't believe what I just saw?"

"Ems, you're bleeding!"

"A wolf," I took a deep breath in. "Just popped out of midair!"

"What are you talking about?" He looked confused.

"So Axel was trying to get me away from wolves, and when we got outside these three wolves ambushed us, and my eyes were closed for one second, but," I paused. "When I opened them, Axel was gone, there was another wolf, and the other wolves had disappeared!"

"Ems."

"They just disappeared!"

"Ems."

"Into thin air, like whoosh!"

"Ems, you're bleeding."

"Seriously Aaron," I widened my eyes. "Disappeared. Thin air."

"Ems," Aaron sighed. "You're forcing me to do this."

"DIS-A-PPEARED, wait what are you doing?" Aaron had picked me up and was now carrying me back down the way I had ran from. One of his arms was under my knees and the other was wrapped around my back.

"If you hadn't been babbling, you would've noticed that your arm and face are bleeding."

"What?" I touched my arm. "Ouch!" There were tiny shards of glass embedded inside my skin.

"Exactly," Aaron said.

"Where's everyone?" All of the hallways were empty.

"They were evacuated once the wolves were handled."

"How did those wolves even get in, that's so weird."

"Right now, we got to focus on getting you some medical care."

"Just take me to the nurse."

"The nurse has already left; everyone in the school was evacuated, and this injury," he pointed to my arm. "Needs hospital care."

"Fine," I dropped my head back.

"Mmhmm," Aaron pushed the doors open and led us out of the school building.

In fifteen minutes, we got to the hospital, and I wasn't surprised to see a bunch of my classmates in the waiting room. Most of the people who were hurt were football players. I guess a few guys overestimated their fighting ability. Typical.

Aaron led me to the front desk, and the lady there told me to wait a second. I turned around to find a place to sit, (all the chairs were taken), and I was about to head over to sit in a corner when someone said, "Emma, over here!" I turned my head and saw Jackson (A/N Remember him?) waving me over.

"Hey!" I grinned and moved to him. He got up and offered me his seat. "Oh, it's okay, I can stand."

"Baby girl," he grabbed my hips and placed me on the seat. "You're bleeding and probably in pain; I just have some bruises."

"Fine," I yawned. "I just want to go to sleep, it's been a long day. Do you know what happened?"

"At school? I have no idea," he scoffed. "Those teachers tell us nothing."

"I'm so confused," I rubbed my head. "I was just sitting there for a second, and then a wolf just burst through a window."

"A wolf?"

"Yea," I widened my eyes. "I didn't know that there were wolves near the school."

"I-"

"Emma!" Aaron called. I turned my head and he gestured for me to get up. It was probably my turn to get all these glass shards pulled out my arm.

"See you later," I said to Jackson before following Aaron and a nurse to a patient room.

"Hi, my name is Mary," the nurse told me as she handed me a hospital gown. "You can change into this and the doctor will be here in a minute. If you need help getting into your gown, press this button." She pointed to a button on the hospital bed.

"Okay," I nodded. She left to give me some privacy, and I started to take my clothes off. I was struggling to get my shoes off because every time I tried to move my arm, I felt a shock of pain. After five minutes of me angrily trying to pull my shoes off, I just laid back on the bed and grumbled. "Come on!" I yelled at my shoes. "Get off!" I was about to just give up and press the button for the nurse before Aaron burst through my room's door.

"Why were you yelling?" he looked worried.

"I'm annoyed," I groaned.

"What do you want me to do?"

"Undress me."

Aaron's eyes flared.

"What?"
