“So why are you stuttering?” I asked being completely confused by his behaviour.

“I'm not stuttering. You're only not understanding it.” He said shrugging his shoulders. I know how to make him say the truth.

“Chal, ab sach bata de! ” I said in my light and playful tone. Kya???

“Meri hone wali bhabhi ka naam.” I said in a teasing tone.

I could see his ears turning pink. “What are you saying Avyansh? Have you gone mad or what , today?” He said completely blushing hard.

“Now stop it, Don't play with me. I won't tell about it to anyone ” I said reassuring him. “Promise!! ” “hn--hn , you tell me first.”

“Actually I and Zoya are dating eachother. ” He said scratching the back of his neck. “Since when?” I asked completely shocked.

“The day she came to Aadu's birthday party. I was completely mesmerized by her at the first sight. I tried to ignore my developing feelings. But I couldn't. I thought to tell about it to Aadu but she would have told about it to bhaiya. So I confessed to her on the day of their results. ” he said with a smile on his face.

“It means only you and Zoya knew about it ? ” “No, We were knowing but besides that Aryan knew about it and now you” I nodded my head.

That means Aadya doesn't knows about it. Should I tell her? No, I can't, I promised him.

“So when are you going to tell them about it ?” I asked because I can't hide it from her.“ On My bday” He said.

“Ohk, let's go we're getting late. ” I said. I was feeling a bit strange because I could feel someone gawking at me.

Ignoring that gaze, I went inside the class. Waiting for English Miss while Arya sitting beside me was resting his head on the desk.

Soon, I heard Aleena Miss shouting standing at her table. We both stood up and greeted her. She greeted me nicely but gritted her teeth on Arya.

“Bhai yaha so Raha hai or behen ghar par.” She said gritting her teeth. “Tameez naam ki cheez hai aapke pass ya fir mai aapko sikhau ” Arya said rudely.

{Brother is sleeping here and sister at home.}

{ Do you have manners or should I teach you?}

“What did you said?” Miss said. “MA'AM, I said better behave properly. You're talking about my sister not yourself. ” He said in an agressive manner.

“Rudraksha never talked to me like this. He was an obedient child. God knows what happened to your mother and father while teaching you both the same manners.” Miss said and my anger fumed why the heck was she making a fuss out of it. Why is she including Aadya into it.

“Actually he didn't knew your other side. And about manners, first learn it yourself. And one more thing, DON'T DARE TO BRING MY SISTER AND PARENTS IN BETWEEN AGAIN OR I'LL FORGET YOU'RE MY TEACHER ” He said to which miss Aleena flinched.

“You-- Ma'am please stop it. Atleast tell what did he do. And why are you bringing his sister in between?” I said being completely frustrated with her.

“Avyansh you also, I thought you'll be like Rudraksha but leave it. Whosoever is in contact with that girl becomes like this only ” She said making a fake sas face.

“WHY THE HECK ARE YOU MAKING A FUSS OUT OF IT? WHY ARE YOU HUMILIATING AADYA AGAIN AND AGAIN, MISS ALEENA” I said as my blood was boiling because ot the mention of her name when she hasn't done anything.

She wasn't here. God knows how will she feel once she'll get to know about it. I don't know why but I am feeling like Miss has some personal grudges against Aadya and a mental disorder too.

“You'll never understand it. Leave it, let's continue the class. Enough of drama you both have created. ” She said putting the blame on us.

Bitch, Arya cursed only for me to hear. For real I said.

“How's this one?” Mumma asked. “It's good Mumma” I said being completely annoyed by her.

It's been three hours since she's shopping for our unwanted guests. I mean literally if she had her way she would buy the whole mall for them.

“Mumma, please leave something for others also?” I said being frustrated because now I'm tired of carrying this trolley filled of 30 bags of stuff.

“Yes, now it's done. Because I don't remember anything is left. Do you ? ” I just shook my head. Like bro did she literally forgot what happened years ago.

After billing, we gave the bag to driver uncle and went for snacks.

I opened the car's door and sat down beside mumma.

We reached home and I helped uncle to carry the bags inside. “Badi jldi aa gyi shopping se?” Arya Bhai said looking at his wrist watch.

“Yes Bhai, we're early according to Mumma. If I won't have stopped her, she would have bought the whole mall. ” I said jumping on sofa.

To which everyone laughed. Everyone had their lunch and I went to take rest for some time as I am on leave today from my coaching too.

It was evening time now. Bua will be arriving anytime soon. Rudraksha Bhai will pick her up on his way to home after college.

The door bell rang. We looked at each other and sighing deeply. I went to open the door.

The door opened revealing Bua and her two daughters. I tried to maintain a fake smile and greeted her “ Pranam, Bua”.

She blessed me and hugged me. Ewww. I saw Rudraksha Bhai carrying her luggage inside. He gave it to the servant and side hugged me.

Mumma touched her feet and she blessed her too. Choti ma and both the mami's did the same. She made her face and blessed them too.

Arya Bhai , Agastya, Yatharth and Aarav touched her feet too.

Papa came inside, “Bhaiya!!!” She said in her sugarcoated voice and started crying, hugging papa.

“How are you Shweta?” “I'm good Bhaiya” She said. “You look so weak. Bhabhi, don't you give food to my brother?” She said glaring at mumma.

“Aap hi aa gyi hoti dene” I said folding my arms. “Did you said anything?” She asked knitting her brows.

“Did you heard anything?” I shot back. I know Mumma is glaring at me. Bua came towards me and engulfed me into a hug. Again!!!

She cupped my face and said looking all over me, “Bhabhi , I can't believe it. Our Aadya is all grown up, now”

I gave her a tight lipped smile. Everyone was sitting in hall and chit-chatting.

“So, you guys are staying here only?” Bua said looking at Chote Papa. “Yes, didi”. Papa said .

“I can't believe it you guys can't find out a place to stay or maybe never tried to?” She said making a disgusting face.

“Bua, I guess you're here after years to meet your brother and I think it shouldn't bother you if they're here?” I shot back with the same intensity.

She just shook her head in disbelief.

It was night time. Everyone had their dinner and were in their room.

I opened my phone to ask what work has been today. I saw Avyansh's message popping up on the screen.

Avyansh : Hi, Aadya

Aadya : Hello 🤗

Avyansh: What are you doing?

Aadya: Nothing. You didn't sleep?

Avyansh : No, I was tired so I thought to scroll some reels.

Aadya: Ohh... Tell me one thing why are you always so formal?

Avyansh: Because you're always Informal.

Aadya: Did you just appreciated me?😎

Avyansh : Nice assumptions Aadya. 😏

Aadya: So rude.

Avyansh: What did I say?

Aadya: You could have said yes also.

Avyansh: Okk. Sorry ma'am.

Aadya: it's ok.

Aadya: Are you planning something for tomorrow?

Avyansh: No, not yet.

Aadya: So what will you do?

Avyansh: Nothing Just scroll reels and watch Tv.

Aadya: Haa toh, Kyun nhi ho rahi padhai?

Avyansh: ab kya karu Mai toh tumhare jaisa padhaku daas nhi hu na.

Aadya: Haww...Apne mujhe padhaku daas bola?

Avyansh: Nhi toh maine kab bola. Ab tum khudko wahi samjhti ho isme meri kya galti.

Aadya : Arey...Khair choriye.

Aadya: Would you like to join us for the breakfast tomorrow? Actually mumma asked Aunty. She said yes but she said she's not sure about you?

Avyansh: Yes, I would like to join you.

Aadya: Thank you ❤️

I smiled at him and slept.

Everyone was getting ready. I also  woke up and got ready.

Today I was wearing a purple peplum top in georgette base. It is paired with matching sharara pants , a belt and met dupatta. I wore a simple jewellery and kept my hairs open. This was bought by Mumma yesterday.

I went downstairs and found my brothers already sitting there.

I ran down and twirled. “Bhaiya, Mai kaisi lag rahi hu?” I asked smiling sheepishly.

“Witch, as always” Agastya said and everybody started laughing. I folded my arms and went inside to bring the plate.

First Bua started and then continued by mumma and Choti ma. It was my turn now.

I started Rudraksha Bhai asked he was the oldest. I applied tilak to him, fed him sweets and performed aarti and then tied Rakhi. Same I reciprocated with Arya Bhai, Agastya, Yatharth and Aarav.

They all touched my feet. “You shouldn't let your elder brothers touch your feet.” Bua said completely ruining my mood.

To which Bhai kept his forehead on my feet and said

“She's the Laxmi of our house, how can we not touch her feet”

To which bua made her face and started murmuring something.

To lighten the atmosphere. I forwarded my hands in front of Rudraksha Bhaiya.

He looked at me confused. “Arey..Bhaiya bheekh maang rhi hai. Dedo kuch” Arya Bhai said to which I smacked his arms.

“Shut up. Mera Gift do mujhe!!!” I said to which they all looked at each other. “Gift?!” They said. I nodded my head.

“Woh Aadu, we're really sorry. That I didn't bought for you. Actually I forgot to bring for you. I bought for Lakshi but..” Rudraksha Bhaiya said.

Did he really forgot? No they can't. I know they won't. But they're faces look so real. I know they'll give it to me. But they never did this drama before.

I maintained my smile. “Rudra, dede use beta. Kitne pyaar se khadi hai ” Choti ma said scolding Bhai.

“But choti maa, I'm serious. I didn't bought it. ” He said making a sad face.

My phone rang. It was of my class teacher. I ran out of the room with tears in my eyes in the garden and picked up the call.

I hanged up the phone and wiped away my tears. I looked around and found no one which hurt me more.

I sat down in the corner and started sobbing quietly. I felt someone wiping my tears.

I opened my eyes and found Avyansh. He was wiping my tears.

“What happened Aadya?” he asked looking all concerned. “Woh-actually..” I tried to mutter.

“First calm down.” I took a deep breath and said, “Bhaiya said he forgot to bring the gift for me.”

Maybe I am sounding cringe but they never did that. “Maybe he's joking and even if he's not. Other's are there na.” He said reassuring me.

“No, all of them forgot me but bought for Lakshi di and Shivya. Am I that bad?” I said wiping away my tears harshly.

“No you're not bad , maybe they forgot. Aadya, see I know it is easy for me to say that leave it or maybe they forgot but it must be hurting you alot. But you're a good girl, right? Don't mind it. Just try to forget it. Sometimes it's better to forget what's bothering you. It's a big deal for you but try to understand them. Maybe you wanted a rose from them but they have a whole rose garden for you. You know na they love you a lot.” He said and I understood what he said.

I wiped away my tears and washed my face. So that no one can notice that I cried. Otherwise they'll feel guilty.

How stupid I am! I was crying for a gift. Their love is enough for me.

I went inside only to find Rakhi Aunty and Samarth Uncle sitting and talking with my parents.

I smiled warmly and greeted them. Siddharth came greeted me. “Hi Di , how are you?” “I am good Sid. You tell what's up.” I said.

“Nothing, I am just like always. Cool and handsome.” I chuckled at his words and said “You should ”. He went away with Agastya And Yatharth.

Everybody was sitting in dining area. I kept the bowl on the table and looked for a seat. I found it beside Avyansh.

I sighed went there. I was sitting beside Avyansh and On the other side Arya Bhai was there. Rudraksha Bhaiya was in front of me between Agastya and Yatharth.

He looked Sad. I was waiting for the food. “Ye mumma khana lane mein itni der kyun kar Rahi hai?” I said keeping my head on Arya Bhai's shoulder. He also looked upset.

{Why mumma is taking this much time to bring the food?}

All of them were looking upset. Mumma Papa were also looking disappointed. But gift toh mere liye nhi aaya hai na!

“Avyansh...aap batao ye mere bagal wale ki shakl bilkul gutter ke jaisi lagti hai ki nhi ” I said lightning the mood.

{ Avyansh.... You tell that this person sitting beside me looks like a gutter or not.}

“Haan ... lekin gutter ki bhi beizzati ho rahi hai Aadya.” He played along.

{Yes..but I think gutter is also getting insulted by this.}

“Sahi bola”. “Jaise tu toh bada Dilwale Dulhaniya le jayenge ke Shah Rukh Khan ki tarah dikhta hai ” Arya Bhai said mocking him.

“Mai hoti toh na sehti, Avyansh ” I said enjoying their banter. “Toh mai konsa sehne wala hu.  Waise bhi mai Gutter se bhi battar shakal Wale logo se mai baat nhi karta.” He said.

{“If I would have been there, I won't have listened to it.” I said enjoying their banter. “As if I am going to listen. Anyway, I don't even talk to people who look like even more worse than a gutter.”}

They continued there banter.

Authors POV

“Ok ...ok now stop it.” Rekha aunty said and mummaa served us the food. But where Aadya is there naughtiness will be there.

She looked inside the table and kicked Agastya 's feet. Agastya tried to kick her but instead Lakshi was trapped.

Then Lakshi kicked Yatharth's feet and he kicked Aarav's feet. Aarav kicked Shivya's feet and she screamed. Shivya kicked Siddharth's feet and he screamed and kicked Arya's feet.

Avyansh looked down the table and found a perfect leg war going on. He looked up when buaa screamed “Aanhhh... Who kicked my feet” Aadya tried to maintain a smile and glared at Agastya.

But instead she found everyone glaring at her. She smiled sheepishly as if she didn't started this. “Bua who'll kick you ? It must be some insect ” she said.

“And that insect is sitting beside me” Avyansh said enough for Aadya and Arya to listen and laugh.

Avyansh again looked up at Aadya as she stood up looking ethereal in That purple outfit. Her curls falling till her arms. Her smile making her look more adorable. Avyansh was looking at her as if the time has stopped. Looking at her beautiful face . Those black Kohl eyes. The silver bindi between her eyebrows making her look enchanting.
