~ Author's POV ~

Aadya opened her drawer and took out her mangalsutra aka ‘The School I'd Card’.

She wore it and then searched for something in her cupboard. She took out a parcel which she had received yesterday evening.

She took her scissors and opened the parcel. There was note inside it. She opened it and read :-

Morse code is a letter or code that represents a letter, each character is represented by a sequence.

This package includes 800 pieces of 3 mm round spacer beads in silver and gold, 400 pieces for each color, 800 pieces of long tube beads in silver and gold, 20 pieces of Morse code cards and 2 rolls waxed polyester twine cords in black.

Material: the round spacer beads and long tube beads are made of CCB materials, the Morse code decoding cards are made of kraft paper and the cords are made of polyester and wax, which is sturdy and durable, easy to knit.

After reading the way of using it. She started to knit one for her. Those all Characters were the initial of Avyansh's name.

After knitting it, she wore it around her neck.

“Perfect..” was the only word which escaped from her lips. She admired it.

Soon, she was back to the world of reality as she heard Arya calling her.

“Aaj poore din kamre mein hi rahegi kya? Bahar nikal!” He shouted.

{ Will you stay in the room the whole day today? Come out}

“Aur tu kya poore din loud speaker bana firega.” Lakshi said smacking his head.

{ And whole day you'll roam like loud speaker or what?}

Aadya came running towards him. “What happened? I was just getting ready.” She asked.

“Kuch nahi Maharani Victoria, aap jaiye aaram se taiyar hoiye. School ka kya hai woh toh apne bade bhai ki hone wali biwi ki maa ka hai kabhi bhi ja skte hai.” Arya said sitting down.

{ Nothing, Queen Victoria, you go and get ready comfortably. What about school, it is our elder brother's to be wife's mother's school, we can go anytime.}

“Kaash hota!” Aadya whispered giggling leaving Rudraksha eyes widen in horror.

He looked at both of them and said “Mujhe kyu toda?”

“Arya Bhai let's go. Because the school isn't our elder brother's to be wife's mother's school.” Aadya said laughing and running out with Arya.

She entered the campus and went straight towards her class. She kept her bag on the desk.

“Where is Zoya?” She asked seeing her bag but not her.

Eklavya and Anisha shook their head in a no. Aryan looked at her with a knowing smile.

Anisha and Aadya started to gossip.

“And you know his trousers were running down his legs..” Anisha said with her eyes filled with tears due to laughing uncontrollably.

“Yk what even his underwear 's brand name was disclosed. His friends were saying he used to say he wears Calvin Klein and it was written their 'Ambar'.” Eklavya said laughing out.

Aadya clutched her stomach tightly and tried to control her laugh.

“Bhai did you guys saw that viral reel, in which that woman asks the colour of the underwears. Bro I wish I could record that moment and send it to her. So that she may know the colour.”

Aryan clutching his stomach.

Their laughing was stopped as they heard a sharp yet cold voice.

It was Avyansh.

“Everyone please come down for the investiture ceremony.” He instructed everyone.

As his eyes met Aadya's. The coldness in them started to melt.

He gave her a warm smile and gestured her to go down.

She followed his command and went down.

As they were standing in the morning prayer. The principal came and started giving her usual speech of 10 pages.

Aryan looked at Aadya and mouthed 'Bhashan on Top'. They both chuckled.

“Ok, so now let's start today's special assembly.” Principal said.

“Itni der se kya meri kundali nikal rhi thi” Eklavya said annoyed.

{ What were you doing till now then?}

“So, we've selected the Captains of this year. I'll call Miss Smita with the names.” Principal told them.

The students began to gossip among them. Their excitement was evident in their gossips.

Miss Smita came up holding a paper in her hands.

“Good Morning Students! Without wasting my other moment let's call our Head Boy to take over his badge from our Ex- Head Boy.” She said and the ex head boy came up with his badge.

“So, please Welcome Our new Head Boy Avyansh Raghuvanshi with huge round of applause.” The ground echoed with the applause.

Aadya hearing his name jumped in happiness without realising.

Her class teacher came and asked “Why are you so happy, Aadya beta?”

“Actually... ma'am my brother is also standing behind him. I just jumped seeing him.” She lied to her while her class teacher gave her a warm smile.

Anisha and Zoya gave her a knowing smirk to which she giggled.

Avyansh walked towards the stage with an aura. He was given his badge and stood in front.

Aadya looked at him with pride.

“Welcome our Head Girl Kanishka Singh.” Miss Smita announced.

Aadya felt a bit jealous when she saw Kanishka standing beside Avyansh and passed him a smile.

“Welcome our Assistant Head Boy Arya Khurana.”

“Yess!!” Aadya, Anisha and Zoya said in unison.

Aadya and Anisha looked at eachother then at Zoya.

She passed them a sly smile. Why are you so happy? Arya Bhai has always been my brother since the very first day I met him.” Anisha said with a smile.

“Woh.. actually he's sweetest and my favourite senior I've ever met” Zoya said looking at Aryan who gave her a knowing smirk.

“Ohh..” they said and turned their attention back to the ceremony.

The ceremony finally ended.

Everyone went back to their classes.

It was the departure time of the school. Aadya was waiting for Arya near the gate.

She saw both the bestfriends coming towards her.

They stopped in front of her.

“Arya...Bhai you didn't tell me about this?” Aadya said pouting sadly.

“Arey...I wanted to surprise you.” Arya said smiling at his sister.

“Btw Congratulations both of you!!” She said.

“Ok..let's go.” Aadya said but was interrupted by Avyansh.

“Aadu..you can come with me. Arya will drop Zoya.” she looked at him confused. “I don't know her address and he knows it. So it would be easy.” He justified his statement.

“Okk ..” Aadya said mounted on his bike with the support of his shoulder.

He started and drove off. The road was not in good condition.

He looked at Aadya from the mirror, who was sitting at the back.

“Aadu.. please hold me tight or you'll fall.” Avyansh said to Aadya.

He sensed her hesitation. So he stopped his bike and took her hands wrapping them around his waist.

Her heart skipped a beat at his touch.

He again started. “Aadu, Ice cream khaaogi?” He asked to her.

Before she could respond he was halfway towards the ice cream parlor.

He came up with her favourite chocolate icecream.

She thanked him and took the ice cream from him. But a question popped up her mind.

How did he knew it was her favourite icecream flavour?

“I knew it because earlier also I've always seen you eating this one only.” Avyansh said leaving Aadya in shock.

Is he a mind reader?

“No, I'm not!” Avyansh replied leaving her look at him in horror.

It seemed like he was hearing her each and every thought.

The bike came to a halt at the Khurana Mansion. Avyansh was going to leave. But Aadya's voice caught his attention.

“Vyan, Uncle and Aunty are inside. They are calling you inside.” She said, softly.

“Accha, mai bas ye bike park karke aata hu. Aap yahi rukiye.” He said fluttering her heart away with that Aap.

He came back and went inside with her. Elders were gossiping about random things.

While the youngsters were at backyard.

“Vyan, give me your bag. I'll keep it in my room.” Aadya asked with a sweet smile on her face.

She kept their bag in her room. She returned back to the kitchen and after drinking a glass of water, she went to the backyard.

There the girls were gathered in a circle and the boy's in the other one.

Boys were discussing some random stuffs, while the girls decided to play Truth and dare.

As they spin the bottle, it stopped at Lakshi. Aadya eyes lit up with a glint of mischievousness.

“Truth or Dare?” Aadya asked smiling evilly.

“Truth!”

“Who was your first crush?” Aadya asked raising her voice, enough to get Boy's attention.

Prashant immediately looked at Lakshi waiting her to respond.

“Umm..all of you don't look at me like that! I feel shy. Ok..so I was in 1st standard and there was a boy named Akarsh. He used to be my seat partner. I loved the way he used to help me. I loved his chubby cheeks.” Lakshi said with her cheeks like tomato.

“Ohhhooo...” Aadya said smirking at Prashant's direction who was fuming with jealousy.

Avyansh noticed her and chuckled at her. He found happiness in her cute antics.

“Kaun woh nevle se bhi battar shakal wala Akarsh?” Prashant said looking madly towards Lakshi.

{ Who? That Akarsh whose face is even worst than a mongoose}

“Lakshi saaf -saaf bolna tu bachpan se hi ashleel thi” Rudraksha teased her.

“Accha..ok. Now don't disturb us. We're playing.” Lakshi said diverting the conversation back.

Meanwhile Prashant was still glaring at her.

Ok, so this time the bottle stopped at Shivya.

“Dare!” Shivya said flipping her hair.

“Go and propose Arya.” Lakshi said smirking meanwhile Aadya and Shivya looked at her in horror.

“He's my brother, diii” Shivya said with her eyes widen.

“So, will you propose Siddharth? I was just asking you to propose as a sister.” Lakshi patted her back.

Aadya scrunched up her nose. Confused that how to propose as a sister.

Shivya stood up and went to Arya. She sat down in front of him.

He raised his eyebrow at her.

“Bhaiya... you're very sweet, very pookie. You're the best brother I've got. I love you so muchhh” Shivya said embarrassed.

Arya got confused listening to her. Why is she praising him?

Aadya and Lakshi burst into a wave of laughter looking at Shivya's face.

Arya facepalmed himself when he realised their dare.

They again turned their attention towards the game. This time bottle stopped at Aadya.

She knew what they'll ask if she'll choose Truth so she chose dare.

“Dare!” She said.

“Ohk...come here!.” Lakshi called her and started whispering something in her ear.

Her eyes widen with shock.

~ Aadya's POV ~

“

You'll go and scare them. You will disguise yourself as Monjulika” My eyes widen in shock listening to her silly yet embarrassing dare.

We stopped the game. I saw all of them watching a movie.

Lakshi di gave me a thumbs up. I tiptoed myself towards my room and changed my look.

I came back and started making sounds from my anklet.

Firstly, I saw none of them noticing. But then and idea clicked my mind.

I started running from the stairs to the corridors making the anklets sound obvious.

“Who's there?” Arya Bhai asked. I just smiled and again started doing the same.

Now all of their attention turned towards me so I took a pause and hid behind the curtains.

As planned Lakshi di connected her phone with the speaker and started playing Ami je tomar.

I started dancing on it. Immediately, I felt all the lights on.

“Aadya????” Rudraksha Bhaiya screamed.

“What's this going on??” I pointed my finger towards Lakshi di.

“Why are you kinda looking like Monjulika?” Avyansh asked looking at me horrified.

This was it when I felt a wave of embarrassment. I immediately wanted the earth to swallow me down.

“She's not looking like that. She is Monjulika. For the first time she came into her real state.” Agastya said laughing.

I threw the pillow on him. They all burst out laughing.
