PART - 12With all calls Linda anticipated for Nishant's  call but she was disappointed. Three days passed by on the 3rd day evening, Linda was reading a book, then she heard her phone ring she took the phone. It was a WhatsApp call, and the call was from none other than Nishant. She had mixed feelings when she saw his name on her phone's display.  She didn't know how to react. She was about to pick up the phone, but then she halted. She thought that she should treat him the same way he had treated her for all these days. She didn't take the phone on the first ring. The phone rang again and again. But on the fourth time when it rang, she couldn't control herself. She took the phone but she didn't respond. Her eyes were filled with tears she couldn't speak she heard his breath from the other didn't know how to respond. After a few seconds, Nishant initiated the conversation." Hello Linda, hello. "Linda didn't respond for a few seconds. Then she made up her mind and started to talk." Hello," her anger was evident from her voice itself." What do you want now? " she asked him an unfriendly way." I Linda, i'm sorry. I mean, I didn't mean to do this. I want to talk to you. Don't be this rude to me. "" No, Nishant, I don't want to hear any excuses. You're like this always. "" If I've ever been like this. I have my own reasons, and just like the other times, I have valid reason for this too. Don't judge me without knowing what happened. At least show the heart to listen to me, and if you think it's just a mere excuse, then you can make your own decision. " " I don't think we should continue this friendship. You have your own personal matters. And at times, you just vanish and a times you appear like from nowhere.Let's stop this friendship now. I think that's better for us. I can understand I'm not being rude, but I'm just saying that because that would be better for us. "" OK, Linda. I can clearly understand your feelings, but do listen to me. Then you can say whatever you want, and if you think I was wrong, then you can surely stop this friendship. "" Okay then, just finish it off whatever you want to say. "" I was stuck in a very big problem. Our rival company had filed a fake case against us and the police had taken us off from the airport and only one of my friend of mine knew it and I had made him to text to my family as if it was me so that my family doesn't know anything.  I came to know you had met my mom and that you knew I was communicating with her, but it was not me who was actually texting her , it was my friend who I had assigned to text my family. And with all these days, even my family was having doubts as I wasn't making any calls all these days. It was difficult for him to communicate with them, but still he managed. I just came back today at noon. "Linda didn't know how to respond to it. She felt sad that she didn't try to understand the Nishant. " Nishant, I want to meet you as soon as possible at our regular place . " Her voice had changed to a pleading tone he knew she was crying before he could say anything she had cut the call.
