PART - 2Linda picked up her phone, and the call was from an unknown number. She hesitated to take the phone, but it continued ringing, so she picked it up"Hello.""Hello Miss Linda, it's me, Nishant. I came with my family last day with a marriage proposal.""Oh yes, Nishant, now what's the matter?"At this point, she was getting irritated as this proposal was already rejected, and she doubted what made him call at night."Nothing much. I wanted to know if we could meet tomorrow. I'll discuss it tomorrow, and it's official.""If it's official, let's meet in the office.""No, I am sorry for this, but please let us meet in the cafe near your office and I assure you this meeting is for your good."Linda agreed to that, and they decided to meet after the office hours and put down the phone. After the call, she didn't know why she agreed to it. Even though she had met Nishant's parents, two or three times she had met him only once, so he was still a stranger for her. He did not seem lovely and friendly as his parents, and that was the main reason which made her reject this proposal financial status was just another reason, but his unfriendly manner was the topmost reason. Initially, she had expressed her concern about his behavior, but her parents told her it was too early to judge. Hence, she raised this issue of financial matter. However, she started getting restless, thinking why she agreed to meet him. She thought about calling and informing him that she wasn't coming to the cafe to meet him. But she thought about him mentioning that it was something official and she was somehow eager to know about what he wanted to convey to her. So finally she decided to meet him the next day.Linda couldn't sleep that night thinking about what he would want to say as she didn't believe that this meeting was something official. They were both working in different dimensions she was an advocate, practicing in a family court and Nishant a software developer. She couldn't conclude about the thing and was unable to sleep thinking about the meeting the next day.Nishant's condition was no different he was deprived of sleep as well but the only thing was that his reason for the sleeplessness was a different matter.To be continued......
