PART - 24Days went by the wedding bells rang functions started with haldi followed by gulabi night and sangeet all the functions before wedding took place separately in bride's and groom's place. This was the day the day that they both had awaited their wedding day. Linda was up in the dawn itself for her makeup and hairdo. Her mehendi stains had been bright red and beautiful, and after the makeover, she looked stunning in her red lehenga and minimal jewelry. Nishant also had woken early in the morning to get ready, and he too looked great in his attire.After tying the knot and walking around the fire it was the time for her father to hand over her hand into that of Nishant as a part of their custom and during the ceremony Linda's and her father's eyes teared up her mother also wiped her tears on this sight they all were accepting the new phase that Linda was stepping on to they felt happy and worried at the same time for as they didn't know what the future had in store for her. They all had mixed feelings. Linda felt uneasy when he thought about leaving her home and moving to Nishant's eventhough she shared good relation with everyone in his house the thought of leaving her family was making her sad.Linda hugged her parents and bid them goodbye she embraced her friends,cousins and some other relatives who were close to her even while trying to hide her tears with a smile she failed miserably and finally hugged her parents and kissed them before leaving and without looking back she entered the car Nishant held her and tried to console her and promised to her and her parents that they could meet each other whenever they wanted to. Throughout the journey to Nishant's house Linda was gloomy. Nishant tried to cheer her up he started talking about different topics and tried to divert her thoughts. She knew he was trying to make her feel better. She turned to him and smiled with teary eyes. He wiped off her tears." See Linu I've already promised you I'll take to there or bring your parents to our house whenever you feel like meeting them. Marriage doesn't mean you're locked up in there we can go and stay in your place as well there is no difference cause both are our family.
