A roar. Perhaps one of the loudest roar Beacon Hills has ever heard. You wouldn't think it was possible. He was dead, right?
"Liam."
Everyone looked at the boy who was pronounced dead not even 5 minutes ago. Liam looked panicked. He started shaking and breathing uncontrollably.
Until he passed out. Theo stood up quickly to help Liam up. "What?" He asked quickly.
"Y-you were dead." Scott slowly spoke. Theo's eyes jolted up to match Scott's. "I know." Theo vaguely spoke.
Before anyone could question him, Liam woke up. You'd expect him to hug or kiss the love of his life. He didn't. He slapped him, hard.
"You died on me you asshole! You left me!" Liam cried in heartbreak. "Baby I'm here now, I'm alive." Theo took Liam's hand and rested it on his beating heart.
Liam, who was still crying, pulled Theo into the tightest hug he's ever had. Theo hugged back with just as much, if not more, love.
Deaton walked in shocked, but not surprised like the rest of the pack. "Theo?" He shook it off quickly. "Welcome back. We should run a few tests."
Liam interfered. "I think I'm just going to take him back to my house, he needs rest."
Deaton allowed Liam to take him home. The rest of the pack followed shortly behind. "Liam we need to talk about this." Stiles tried to get him to listen.
"What's there to talk about? He's alive. That's all that matters." Liam quickly shut down everyone's questions.
"At least let us come with." Mason pleads. "I don-" Theo cut Liam off, "that sounds nice, just follow my truck."
While Liam was driving them home he decided it would be the closest to alone time they'd have in a while.
"Theo, we should talk about it." Liam whispered, scared of whatever response he'd get.
"I died. I get that Liam and I'm sorry that I put you through that trauma. It was just as traumatic for me, but you saved me and I'll never be more grateful."
Quickly taking his eyes off the road he looked at his boyfriend, smiling. Still thankful to have him back.
He pulled into his driveway with the rest of the cars following being. The second he unlocked the door they heard cheers.
Taken aback, Liam got his claws out. Scott ran up ahead and shoved Liam's hands behind him. It was their families gathered around.
"There's our graduates!" Melissa smiled. Graduation. They had almost forgotten about that in the midst of everything. Almost.
"Theo, you're bleeding." Theo looked down at his own bloody shirt. "What happened?" Mrs. Geyer asked worried.
Theo panicked before coming up with an elaborate lie. "Must be from when I tripped over my gown earlier. I fell on a rock, I guess it started bleeding. I'm just going to take a shower if you all don't mind."
She let him run up and use the bathroom. Melissa and Sheriff Stilinski didn't buy it. They pulled everyone aside expecting an explanation.
Stiles and Lydia gave a recap of their night while Liam migrated upstairs.
"Theo?" He called out. He didn't expect to see his boyfriend on the floor of the bathroom crying.
"Theo." He whispered out again walking over and sitting down. He leaned his head on Liam's shoulder.
"What's wrong?" Liam softly asked while running his hands through Theo's hair. "She found me."
Liam sat up straighter, scrunching his nose up in confusion. "Who baby? Who found you?"
Theo's nose sniffled before getting ready to talk. "My sister. When I died, I thought I was going back. I wasn't ready to go back." He stopped to let out a muffled sob. "I don't know where I was but she found me. Then I heard your voice. I followed it until I woke up, alive."
Liam's jaw dropped. He was making this all about him when Theo went through the worst of it. "I'm so sorry you had to go through that. I didn't know that's how it went."
Liam softly kissed his lips. Theo gladly gave into the kiss and was overwhelmed with the warmth it brought.
"I'll let you clean up and change and then why don't we go down to the party." Liam smiled and left him to get cleaned up.
"Liam you left-" Theo called out when he saw a small package on the ground. He didn't bother finishing his sentence when he knew he couldn't hear him.
He picked up the box to see a small note.
Happy graduation baby! I'm so incredibly proud of what you've accomplished. I'm even more proud to be by your side as your boyfriend during the entire journey. Together we'll get through anything. Congratulations!

Curious, he opened the box. He gasped when he saw what was inside. It was a necklace with a pendant that had their anniversary date on it. Much like the ring Theo got Liam.
He put it on and began to get cleaned up. Once he got done, which didn't take long, he went downstairs and joined everyone with a smile for a change.
Liam saw he was wearing the necklace and smiled to himself.
Sure the love of his life died for a brief moment, but he was back. He wasn't going to let anything take him away again.
"Why don't you guys stay the night. Feels like we could all just be together right now." Liam invited everyone.
No one wanted to go home alone and they all agreed. Everyone hand in hand, smiling together.
"Corey and I call dibs on the guest bedroom!" Mason called out.
"Aww man!" Everyone groaned.
