Chapter 8: Giving Up

Twisted, strange, and a freak

That's why She's afraid to speak

Her bodies shows the words she couldn't tell

How he didn't catch her as she fell

Her body shows the stories she couldn't explain

Now people tell her she's insane

Her heart is broke

As is her mind

He is there just to remind

Her life is a waste

Now she stares death in the face

He smiles under his dark hood

She always knew death understood

Taking his hand she fades away

She gave up more than a friend today
