" I thought you mentioned there were no bears?!" I said, looking at the bear who's munching on some dead deer.
"I did, yesterday" the bear payed attention to the meals whats In front of him as we rushed to another trail.
"At least we took a shortcut" Cade tried to lighten up the mood, but it just didn't work.
"Am definitely asking for a next navigator" my eyes rolled and walked past him.
As we continued to walk, branches were snapping. We let it go, thinking it was the breeze or something else.
After the 3rd one, Aiden started to panicking "Go check what following us" I ordered him to and he didn't.
"I'm not unlike those people in horror movies" his hand reached my back, forcing me to walk with him.
"So we let them follow us?" Cade nodded.
The branches snapped again and Aiden glared at me. I pushed him again to continue then it snapped beside us.
Aiden bolt out of here, leaving me behind. My eyes turned to the noise and terrifying enough it was a bear.
The same bear.
I never ran so fast in my life un less it's a dog chasing me . I ran past Aiden. "We're getting eaten before we ever make it back to camp" I dragged him to another trail.
"I better get a day off from all this training" Aiden groaned . We took another root then slowed down.
My heart beats fast and faster every time I hear the growl distance . "I think we lost it for now" I spotted a rock and quickly sat on it.
"FOR NOW?!" Aiden shouted, my fingers quickly moved to his lips and he quickly stayed quiet. The sun started to go down, my phone kept buzzing with messages from my ugly.
"I wanna go home" he retorted.
"Just sit beside me and relax" I said, removing my bag then placing it on the floor.
He sighed, finally sitting beside me. It was quiet, peaceful and definitely refreshing since the breeze blew strong at us, after all it caused me to relax.
I could still hear Aiden breathing in and out quickly. I handed something to ease his panicking state.
"Is this alcohol?!" Before I could answer he was already chugging down the thing.
"We don't want you to get drunk?" I smirked, pulling the bottle away from his mouth.
"I just wanna sleep on something comfy" he murmured.
"Fine let's go" I grabbed Aiden's bag without him asking then we continued down the trial.
This was nice.
"I can't believe you stay a day with Cade" Britney sat beside at lunch, leaning in for more tea.
"That's it" I replied, but she was not happy.
"Boring" her eyes rolled and went back to Adam. I ate my pizza, looking at the plate as eyes stared at me.
Some were annoyed at the fact I didn't do exercise today. But I really didn't care, and to tease them more I was told to sleep until lunch.
No other campers were aloud to do that.
So I felt special.
A hand tapped my shoulders. My eyes moved from the campers and to the random who's behind me.
"We need to talk" I didn't get the chance to answer, maybe because he was already out the door.
Why does the general want to see me?
I hope Cade didn't Change his mind.
--
"ok... what do you need" we both standee in front of the cafeteria door, i could feels eyes on us as he speak.
"We're moving you into another room" he revealed my room number and gave me keys to my room.
"Why?" His eyes quickly went to the men and women in uniform and stared right back at me "someone is smuggling drugs to campers" I gasped and he sighed.
"I need you to inform who's been doing it" I was beyond confused and same time happy? "If you do this, I will erase your strikes" I quickly nodded, but still was confused.
"I mean wouldn't you already figured who's behind this?" This doesn't make any sense. The general sighed, looking at all the recruits lining up the campers.
Cade had on a worried expression but quickly dismissed it. "You can start packing" he then left me with a satisfied face.
This was not the Bootcamp I was expecting to stay in.
---
"I can't believe they're switching you into another room" Britney groans, giving me a right hug. Adam just looked annoyed at me for having some much free time.
"Why aren't you off to prison?!" Adam eyes were filled with anger then his eyebrow raised in suspicion when I didn't respond.
Don't tell me am already failing as a spy.
"Maybe Am special" my shoulders shrugged and he scoffed in response. Fillip brushed my shoulders, going into the bathroom without giving me a look.
"Adios!" I walked away from my door, already missing it. Some recruits were glaring at me, the rest was just curious.
I snapped out and started to begin walking. It was already dark when I reached my room.
My room was closer to all the recruits, it was like a big house with everything in it. I admired it for a few minutes before the alarm started to go off.
This was a crazy day.
"Aiden!" A voice yelled from behind. Cade stopped, stopping me from entering. "Why were you moved up to here?"
I forget he doesn't know.
"I was in a fight" Cade hands were rolled into a ball. "Who's was it let me give them a strike" his hands searching my palms for checking my any injuries.
My cheeks turned red, but I was thankful it was dark. "I-I'm good" words started to choked as he kept holding on to my hands.
"Good" he whispered
I wanted to lean in so badly, but something was stopping me from doing so. "Good night sir"
Cade nodded before giving me a smile. His figured disappeared from every steps he did. It was surprising enough that I move in really close to him.
The moment the door opened a dark figure was standing in the corner. "What the fuck?!" Laugh could be heard and it sounded like she.
"So.. what's going on with you and cade" I could finally see some of her. Her hair was blonde and she had green eyes.
Don't tell me I have a long lost sister.
Bags were seen beside another bed that looks like someone slept there.
I thought it was supposed to be room for only me!
"Nothing" I said, murmuring. All she did is laughed at the lies coming through my mouth.
"I see the way you guys look at each other, ever since the moment you stepped in" she said, sitting on my bed.
"But anyways am Blair!" Her hands reached out and I shook it. "Who's this?" A boy about my age stepped out of the bathroom shirtless.
"Babe! This is Aiden" Blair ran up, giving him hugs and kisses. He stared at me in intense while giving her kisses.
"Do you not see me here?" I threw my bag on the bag and took off my shoes. Blair stopped kissing him and went between us to introduce ourself.
"Aiden this is Kyle, Kyle this is Aiden" we both shared an awkward hey before going back to do our own stuff.
"I thought we couldn't have relationships here?" I said, unpacking my clothes. "You have to promise you won't utter a word about this" her arms reached to Kyle neck, wrapping it so she could go back to kissing.
"Cool" i whisper, sneaking into the bathroom.
Staying with a couple couldn't be that bad?
Right.
