A month has passed and nothing changed except the distance . Why does it feel like there is a line between us and it keeps expanding every second . Since when was this line formed ? Since when did he start distancing himself away from me ? Since when did we stop being best buddies ? Since when did we start talking less ? Since when did this whole freaking thing started and why am I only realising it now ?
These were all the questions Luv had after that night but he didn't had the answer of any of them nor the courage to ask them directly . Luv believes Adhir did that because he was drunk and also believes the fact that Adhir doesn't remember a thing about that night .
On the other side Adhir had came to an unexpected decision .

" Mom , don't tell others now . I'll tell them later you know a surprise " Adhir says as he continues to help Mrs. Radha with washing the dishes .
" Alright , alright , I won't tell anyone . I have no intention of ruining your so called surprise "
" mm "
" yeah , so now go and study I'll do these myself " Mrs. Radha says taking away the dishes from his hands .
" As you wish , but I'm already almost done with these so just let me do "

" Dude , something wrong " Rhonny asks bumping shoulders with Luv .
" huh , Oh it's nothing "
" You gotta enjoy a birthday party you know , otherwise the organizer would be so disappointed"
" I-I'm enjoying it " Luv says rubbing his temples.
" Are you , It doesn't really look like it " Rhonny says squeezing the other's shoulder tightly .
" Rhonny-" Luv says through grimmed teeths .
" Rhonny , A girl over there seems to be calling you "Â Â Lucy says stepping in between the two .
" Luv " Lucy speaks up only to get ignored as Luv walks past her . She holds luv's wrist to stop him .
" What do you want ? " Luv asks trying to snatch his hand away .
" I- "Â Lucy only tightens her grip instead of letting him go .
" Lucy I - " Luv finally snatches his hand away from the other and leaves her sight .
She tries to follow him only to get stopped by Lisha .
" You don't deserve going are him , you know that right " Lisha says standing in her way with her hands crossed over his chest .

" Kab jayega phir tu hm ( when'll you go then ) " Mrs. Radha asks folding the clothes .
" Who's leaving " Luv asks while entering the room .
" Are tu kab aaya ( Oh When did you come ) "
" Bas abhi aaya hu aunty ( Just right now , aunty ) " Luv says as he sits beside and looks at Adhir . " Kon kha jaa rha hai ye to batao ( who is going and where ? ) " Luv asks and Adhir averts his gaze avoiding him .
" It's Adhir he said he'll be living in the University dorms "
" He wants to live in the dorms , b-but why , why does he want to . It doesn't make sense , does it " Luv speaks hastily glancing over at
" Why are you fussing over something so simple , let him live there if he wants to "
" It's not about simplicity or something it's just , does he not like staying with us "
" Aish , you both keep fighting these days and stop talking about that just go back to your room and sleep " Mrs. Radha says as she picks up the pile of perfectly folded clothes and leaves the room.
The room was filled with complete silence until one of them spoke .
" Why ? " Luv asks staring at Adhir .
" It's none of your business " Adhir replies not daring to look at the other .
*scoff* " Since when did things get so out of hand that you want to leave our home " Luv replies
" I told you that's got nothing to do with you "
" I'm not going anywhere until you tell me the reason today " Luv says and plops himself on Adhir's bed .
" Luv , don't behave like a child " Adhir scolds but the other doesn't seem to answer him , instead snuggles up in his bedsheet .
" You- "
Adhir sits at the corner of the bed after roaming around in the room for a while , " Luv- "
" I'm sorry " Luv whispers with quite sobs under the blankets .
" W-wait , a-are you crying , T-there's nothing to cry about in this , L-Luv - " Adhir panickingly runs over to the other and removes the blanket that was initially covering Luv's face .
" I said I'm sorry , It's all my fault I won't say anything to you from now on , If you insist I'll stop talking to you but don't leave , Don't leave Adhir please " Luv cries out .
" Why are you saying sorry you did nothing wrong and I'm not going anywhere alright , I'll just stay here , stop crying shh " Adhir tries to stop the other from crying .
" I don't believe you , last time you said that you would stop ignoring me but you still ignore me" Luv replies sulking .
" I won't go anywhere I promise and I will stop avoiding you for real this time "
" You said it , don't go back on your words now "
" Mm , I'll go get some water for you " Adhir says as he wipes the other's face and gets up .
Adhir fills up a glass of water and chugs it down in a go .
" Did he cry ? " Mrs. Radha asks coming out of nowhere .
" Mm , a lil' " Adhir replies filling up the glass with water once again .
" And what did you say to him "
" I told him I'm not going anywhere "
" And are you really not gonna live in the dorms just because he cried , he still acts like a child . I remember when you both were small he always cried whenever we decided to separate both of you , what a childish kid " Mrs. Radha ends her sentence with a soft chuckle remembering the childhood of her two sons .
