" So.... , all set now . Should we get going ? " Madhav asks starting the car and the other three answers with a 'yes'
Is it only me or the atmosphere is kind of chilly .
Guuhh let's just focus on driving .
Adhir and Luv both sat at the end of the seat but for whole different reasons.
For Luv it was the fact that he earlier overheard something he shouldn't have and he doesn't seem to take it well .
And for Adhir it was simply because he preferred to sit at the near end of the seat .
Luv kept taking secret glances at Adhir but after making eye contact once he didn't dare turn his face again .
Why am I feeling weird . I can't stay like this , I'll have to figure out a way . I need to find out if that's true or not but for now...
Luv stretches his arms while yawning.
I should sleep.
As fast he closed his eyelids , he opened them too .
Wait a minute-
I was on the verge of forgetting this .
" Adhir.. "
" Yeah , just lean on my shoulder and sleep if you want to , no need to ask me " Adhir replied tapping on his shoulder.
" What ? " Luv asks almost dumbfounded.
" You..... Don't want to sleep ? " Adhir asks unsure of what the other wanted if not to sleep .
" No , it's not that I don't want to sleep , I just meant to ask why would you want me to lean on your shoulder "
Could it be that he really likes me.
" Don't you always sleep while clinging to my shoulder so i thought you- " Adhir replies in a ever so sure tone .
" Wait- do I really do something like that , you sure you aren't making everything up ."
" Mr. , Why would you think I ought to lie about something like that " Adhir replies this time with a clearly offended tone that seem to signify ' you dare accuse me of something like this , utterly disappointing '
" Alright , alright just stop with that sharp tongue of yours " Luv replies looking away .
" What were you going to say then ? " Adhir asks .
" Oh yeah , I almost forgot about it again " Luv replies giggling .
" J-just spit it out already " Adhir states as a rosy pink shade finds its way onto his face . He turns his face away staring at the empty road filled with still water that must've been there because of the pour yesterday but his mind wasn't at the sight in front of him but filled with replays of a scene that took place instances ago .
In his mind , The giggling lad's face was shinning with holy light , soft petals falling from no one knows where . It felt like a dream maybe because it really was one .
" I want to check out the gaming café we went to before our train arrived "
" Why do you want to go there , It'll add up half an hour to our ride if we go that way " Adhir explains still not completely out of his imagination .
" But I want to check something " Luv speaks as a guilty feeling washes over him .
" What do you want to check ? "
" Something about Vihaan , I don't think he really went home . I just feel- "
Adhir , finally stepping out of his imagination figures out what the other really wants to know .
" Don't worry too much , who can stay out of their homes for so long . He probably went back "
" But- can't I just check , just once " Luv looks at him , trying hard to coax the elder one with a pity filled face .
My knees keep getting weak even though I'm sitting already . What's with that expression , Why all of a sudden . He never used to do something like this before . His teasing are really growing day by day .
Adhir couldn't open his mouth and sensing the situation his savior steps in-between .
" Where is this place you wanna go to , I'll take a turn about that road " Mansi says .
" I need to ask him first why are you butting-in " Luv replies clearly declaring the fact that he hates them and doesn't want them to interrupt . ( A/N : Luv simply doesn't like them because of that one drinking incident , to be specific he's just sulky towards them . the word ' hate ' is too cruel to justify Luv's emotions towards anyone but he's enough bitchy to show his 'emotions' to others )
" I-is that how I taught you to talk to someone older then you " Adhir scolds after he manages to utter a few words .
There he goes again .
Sigh .
" Just answer me honestly , don't you also want to go and check if the child's alright or not " Luv states furiously .
" Alright as you wish but even if he didn't go back , YOU are not allowed to mention taking him home with us " Adhir replies partially giving up and Luv nods with a not so happy expression .
It's not that I don't want to check on Vihaan but if I too am as insistent on going as Luv is , I'll have no choice but to give in to his every demand .
Madhav who was silent all along the way suddenly spoke , " I'm hungry "
The other three face palm themselves as Madhav stops the car .
" What ? why did you stop the car ? " Mansi asks .
" Because I'm hungry " Madhav replies back nonchalantly .
" So ? " All three of them ask in unison .
" I.... can't drive "
