Chapter 9: 6

" Around what time " The staff member asks glaring at both of them .

" 5:55 pm " Adhir replies .

" Oi , how do you remember the exact time? "

" I'm just guessing "

" Today ? "

" Mm  "

" Yeah , It's him , this guy he must have stole it "

" How? " The staff asks suspiciously looking at them .

" What ? " Adhir asks .

"  I mean how are you so sure that it's him "

" He just looks suspicious " Adhir replies looking at him " Doesn't he ?"

" He does , he does , just look at the way he's roaming around the store . " Madhav joins in to support his friend , " Can you - "

" If you're done looking at the recordings , you can go " The staff saying going away .

Both Adhir and Madhav follow behind him , Adhir with a calm pace and face but with a panicked mind and Madhav with a panicked pace and face but with a calm mind .

" Umm , can you help us in one more thing " Madhav asks .

" What "

" Do you know where this guy lives or his phone number or anything about him at all "

" We can't give away customer's personal information sir "

" His phone number will do too "

" we are not in any place to be giving you that "

Madhav looks at Adhir and mouths him , " I told you so " and Adhir mouths back ," Shut up "

" Well , if you don't want to give us any information then atleast let me have a talk with him "

" We can't - "

" I am not asking for any information right now , am I . Just let me have a talk with him on phone" Adhir says cutting the staff member mid sentence .

" A-Alright " The staff gives in to Adhir's intimate gaze .

" Hello sir , I would like to meet you to discuss something about the clothes you bought today from our store " Adhir says.

" I can't , I'm busy "

" Uh , I wanted to tell you that I will not be able to give you the brown hoodie you bought- "

" I DON'T WANT IT THEN , INFACT I DON'T WANT ANY OF THE OUTFITS I PLACED ORDER FOR ! " The man shouts from the other side .

" Woah , there there , I'll try to give you the hoodie and all the outfits as agreed . Don't withdraw the order . And you've already paid so what's the use of-  " Adhir says panicking a little , wondering what will happen if the other actually cancels the order because he can't possibly make the staff lose a customer because of him .

" I told you that I don't need it , I bought that for my girlfriend but we broke up today so stop pissing me already , will ya "

" T-Then another customer wants that hoodie can we- "

" JUST DO WHAT YOU WANT I DON'T CARE ! "

" W-wait , the payment for the hood- "

" STOP PISSING ME OFF "

" PLEASE DO CANCEL THE ORDER THEN " Adhir shouts as the other was about to cut the call .

"Grr"  The other cuts the phone with a snarl .

The cashier , staff member and Madhav were staring at him as he talked on with the customer . After the call ended the staff member spoke up , " I don't think you were talking to him about the things you were robbed off  "

" Uh , It surely seemed like that but he said that he'd compensate for the thing he stole so he told me to pick one outfit from the ones he ordered "

" We can't- "

" Oh , you might've received the order cancelation notification by now and also he said he's not taking the payment back so I guess it's fine "

The cashier checks through the messages and all three of them hope over the computer screen. Each one with different expressions on their faces for some reason . Madhav with a exited expression . The staff member with a suspicious expression  and Adhir with a nervous expression because he did told them to check the message but he himself wasn't sure if the customer actually cancelled the order but soon a smile of relief spread through his face as the cashier spoke up .

" It's here , they really cancelled it and not even asking for refund "

" See I told ya "

" Then you can go if you're good " The staff member says .

" Umm , I'll take the hoodie with me , the one he bought once since the order is cancelled and don't worry I'll pay for it too the guy seems nice because he didn't ask for a refund "

" What about the thing he stole , is it not important ? " The cashier asks .

" Uhh , It probably was but it's fine , he apologized . " Adhir scratches the back of his neck .

" You're so nice ,sir " The cashier says adoring Adhir from a distance .

" T-thanks , now can you give me the hoodie , the brown one you know  "

" Sure , Just wait for a min "

" Aunty , Luv kha hai . ( Aunty , where is Luv ) " Adhir asks after roaming around in the house for a while .

" Apne kamre me hi hoga beta , jab se tere sath ghar aaya tha tab se kamre se bahar hi nhi nikla hai . ( He must be in his room dear , he hasn't came out of his room once after returning home with you ) " Mrs. Radhika says as she continues washing the dishes .

" Nhi hai Aunty , mai abhi uske kamre me hi dekh kar aaya hu ( He's not there Aunty , I just came after checking in his room) "

" Ek baar chat pr dekh le to . Kya pta vha par ho ( Look at the rooftop once , who knows he might be there ) "

Adhir runs to the roof and upon seeing Luv sitting alone claims , " LUV "
