Yu Yushi looked taken aback, but he regained his composure. "No. Your Grace."
"Then that's great. Cuz, you are going to do this in the dark," she spoke lightly with a faint sense of depression.
"What do you mean, Your Grace?"

"Then we start from her. How many gers are in the harem?"

The new concubine cried his heart out, and things never went his away.
Yu Yushi went according to what the empress dowager told him, and used the new concubine as a stepping stone to his success.
After using him, he turned a blind eye to him, and never talked to him. Although, they used to be friends.
Yu Yushi watched as many concubines harassed the new concubine, yet he turned a deaf ear.
Guess he was really deaf...
After Yu Yushi became empress, he strived to make the emperor's attention be on him, but all his efforts were in vain.
He tried, and tried but could never get the emperor's love, and that's where we are.
