C208: Guest (1)
âFinally!â
James Moriarty became a full professor.
Casey Selmoreâs eyes lit up the moment she saw the historic scene. Her heart was pounding in anticipation that James Moriartyâs life would finally begin in earnest.
âI can finally see what heâs trying to do.â
She decided not to miss a single move this time but just as she thought so Casey realized that her body was being dragged away strongly by something.
âWhat?â
A question passed through her head at that moment. Come to think of it, how long has she been staying in his memory?
âWait a minute!â
Casey shouted urgently, but it didnât work.
Unable to read all the memories contained in the magic, she was kicked out of the flow of memories.
âItâs only just the beginning!â
For a moment her consciousness was in the dark and when her eyes opened, Casey Selmore leapt from her bed. Looking around, she saw that it was a deep dawn and the sun had not yet risen.
âThe artifact?â
The paper in hand lost its blue light and was discolored.
âThe end? This is the end?â
She thought she could barely trace him.
âAh! So annoying!â
When she couldnât contain her anger and screamed, Bettyâs cry came from the living room.
âCasey! What time is it? Be quiet!â

âDelica Kingdom.â
Back in his private quarters, Rudger recalled memories from three years ago.
He earned the title of godfather of crime as James Moriarty, but in fact, everything he did was more like spreading what had originally happened.
âThere were a lot of hidden secret facilities in the Delica Kingdom.â
Preparations for war at the national level and all the inhumane experiments done for it.
Steel Chapel was just a part of it and there were a few more unknown secret operations.
One of them was the development of gunpowder that was not affected by magic.
He thought the factory that used to make the gunpowder burned down but as he expected there was a separate person who made it.
âVictor Dreadful developed the gunpowder.â
He looked up at the night sky outside the window as the bluish moonlight was giving off a strange warm light. Thanks to this, he could organize his thoughts calmly.
âLiquid Golem is a high-performance automaton. Considering the person who made it, it is not impossible to make gunpowder that is not affected by magic.â
And in order to use it to make sure it worked, they contacted the Liberation Army and handed it over to them.
People will only be interested in the Liberation Army who carried out the bombing, and they will not know what is behind it.
âI have eliminated the secret branches in Leathervelk and Baltanung, but they wonât disappear completely unless I remove the fundamental buds.â
It was regrettable that Victor Dreadful could not be killed but he couldnât help it if he thought about it rationally.
He didnât expect another First Order.
âBut thanks to that I found out information about another First Order. Black Knight Verom is a First Order and he uses an antique tone and a red-blooded sword.â
As a result, there are three First Orders that are unknown.
What ability and strength do the other three have?
And what is the power of Zero Order that brought them all togetherâ¦â¦.?
Rudger glanced at the ring handed over by Zero Order. Now that he thought about it, it was strange that he gave him this ring.
âHe gave it to me on purpose. To invite me.â
Zero Order was akin to the president. In a good way, itâs bold, and in a bad way, itâs a crazy person.
âWell, he wouldnât be able to do this if he was in his right mind.â
How will the next meeting with him go?
Thinking so, Rudger closed his eyes in a chair and fell asleep quietly.

The next morning Rudger, who came to work early even though there was no class, found Sedina cleaning his office.
âSir.â
Rudger checked his watch. It wasnât time for breakfast yet.
âSedina, you came to work early.â
âYes. Iâm working hard not to disturb you when you start the day.â
âDid you eat?â
âNot yet but itâs okay. I brought a lunch box!â
Sedina said that and showed her packed lunch. When she opened the lid, the inside was filled with fresh blue vegetables and fruits.
ââ¦â¦thereâs a lot of grass.â
âYes, itâs good for my health and I like it. Oh, by the way. Did you eat?â
âNo, I havenât.â
Rudger always ate breakfast separately. The lunch was mainly eaten with the other teachers, but even that has become rare since the festival.
âFor now, Iâm going to eat breakfast in moderation.â
With that said, Rudger took out a large barrel that he had prepared. Inside, there was powder made by grinding all kinds of grains and herbs.
It was a processed food called magic wheat eaten by wizards.
Sedina asked in a trembling voice.
âAre you going to eat only that?â
âYes, does that matter?â
âOf course there is a problem!â
When Sedina screamed, Rudger flinched without realizing it.
After he seriously wondered if he had pressed the wrong switch, Sedina strode up and took away the magic wheat in Rudgerâs hand.
âIsnât this magic wheat that wizards often eat because they canât eat a real meal?â
ââ¦â¦Yes, I tend to use it, too.â
âIt definitely fills the body and makes meals easy but unequal nutrients will ruin the body.â
âUh, well, yes.â
âIâll give you my packed lunch box, so eat it all!â
âIsnât this your breakfast?â
âThatâs all right! I have one more prepared!â
As she said that she took out another lunch box.
Due to her unexpected thorough preparation, Rudger was stunned and could not find a cause to refuse.
âTeacher, you must eat vegetables! These ground-up snacks will one day become the main culprit of body damage!â
Sedinaâs determined speech that sounded as if she was a mother preaching to a child complaining of side dishes had some strange power.
âFrom now on, Iâll pack your food every morning and evening!â
ââ¦â¦No, you donât have to go that far.â
âNo! This is necessary.â
âIâm afraid youâll have a hard time.â
âIâm not tired at all. This is what I want to do.â
âIf you are so stubborn, I wonât stop you.â
Rudger eventually gave up and nodded.
âThen, have this.â
A lunch box thrust out of the blue. Rudger was sure that it was filled with grass (fruits and vegetables).
âIs there no meat?â
âNothing!â
ââ¦â¦None?â
Rudger stared at Sedina with a shocked face.
Can a person live without meat? Or were the Half-Elves a meatless race?
âLooking at Belaruna thatâs not necessarily the case.â
Belaruna was a huge meat eater although she was a pure elf. However, it is absurd that Sedina, a half-elf, does not eat meat.
âHow do you supplement nutrients without meat?â
âThis lunch box I prepared contains all the essential nutrients. This plant here has vegetable protein, so itâs good to eat, and if you look at this fruit, itâs high in fructose and carbohydrates.â¦.â
She was so happy that she told him everything even though Rudger didnât ask and when he heard it all, he realized that the nutrients were unexpectedly balanced.
âNo, I know it has all the nutrients.â
But isnât it good to have meat?
Rudger wanted to argue, but he decided not to when he saw Sedinaâs gaze.
He really thought sheâd get angry if he said anything.
Sedina is usually calm and courteous but when she is fixed on something thereâs no stopping her. Even Rudger felt strangely pressured by the tremendous spirit that she showed at the moment.
âDid I ever feel this pressure from someone other than my teacher?â
There were Zero Order and Elisa Willow. Of course, these two have the power to match it.
He didnât know Sedina had this side to her.
âAre you not going to eat it?â
As Sedinaâs voice became anxious and her eyes began to sharpen, Rudger replied hastily.
âNo, Iâll eat it.â
Sedina sat in a chair and watched him eat.
âThatâs weird. Sheâs an assistant and Iâm a teacher.â
What was this feeling that the relationship has turned around?
Rudger, who was eating like that, suddenly remembered the past.
ââ¦â¦â¦Whatâs wrong? Is there anything you donât like about the meal?â
âNo, it tastes good. Itâs better than I thought.â
Sedina blushed and smiled brightly at his compliment.
âBut whyâ¦?â
âIt just reminded me of the old days.â
âAh, if itâs your old daysâ¦â¦.â
âNot what you think but a long time ago when I was walking around with my teacher.â
When she heard about his teacher, Sedinaâs eyes shined.
âAre you talking about your teacher? Who was it?ân/o/vel/b//in dot c//om
âMy teacher is someone so great that I had no choice but to call him a monster. I donât dare to say that I touched the toes of my master when it comes to magic skills.â
âWhat?â
Sedina cried in surprise.
Rudgerâs magic skills are at a level where no one in Theon is arguing and Sedina could tell he was not humble to lift up his teacher.
Even considering all that, Rudger sincerely thought that his skills were not even close to his teacher.
âIn a way, I was very lucky that someone like him taught me. Anyway, it was similar to how it was when I was with him.â
âWhat do you mean youâre similar?â
âHe always forced me to eat meals. However, if I were to point out the difference from you, would it be that he told him to eat a lot of meat.â
âMeatâ¦â
Sedina whispered.
âWell, I donât hate meat either, so I eat it often, butâ¦â¦My teacher likes to eat meat strangely undercooked. When I ate it, I struggled with the fishy taste.â
Rudgerâs words were light but it was completely unacceptable for Sedina.
âIn the world, you can take all the nutrients evenly with just vegetables, but meat that is extremely tilted on one side! This is unacceptable!â
âItâs a thing of the past.â
âOf course, I donât mean to blame it either. Howeverâ¦I have a feeling that it will not fit in with your teacher.â
Rudger nodded his head because he was strangely convinced by her words.
âNo. Considering teacher personality, Iâm not sure about that either.â
He was so unpredictable that it was meaningless for me to dare to speculate on his behavior. In other words, they might get along with each other.
âMore than that, Iâm sure teacher just woke up.â
On the last day of the magic festival Rudger used his teacherâs blood, one of the means he wouldnât use unless it was really necessary.
There was a reason why Rudger didnât use it before.
âThe moment I used it, teacher realized that I used his blood and would come to find me.â
It was inevitable no matter how much Rudger shakes when he thinks about what will happen after that.
âConsidering his unruly personality, he will not come here right away, but will look around first. Still, Iâm sure he will arrive in front of me someday.â
That would be a real problem since he was the one who extracted his teacherâs blood when he was asleep and ran away.
Just thinking about what would happen if they met made his back wet.
âMaybe heâll come right away.â¦.â
As he was thinking someone knocked on the door.
âWho is it?â
It was a Theonâs employee.
âWhatâs going on?â
âThere is someone who wants to see Mr. Rudger.â
âWhatâ¦?â
Rudgerâs heart sank.
