This room has an opened window, there was no way it was soundproofed, but she couldnât hear a single sound from outside whatsoever.
This was totally weird, because Abby didnât understand how Leon pulled it off.
But then, she had screamed for someone to help her for a good fifteen minutes before Leon came to grace her with his presence, and no one seemed to have heard her at all then either.
The girl could only give up on the thought of screaming at the top of her lungs, because it was of no use, and would only exhaust the little energy she had now.
She tried to think of escaping his clutches, but it wasnât that easy. âOnce he hands me over to the rogues, Iâll be outnumbered and done for...â
On the other hand, her body protested because she didnât eat anything other than those few pieces of candied fruit more than twenty four hours ago.
âThis is absurd!â Abby officially regretted all her decisions from last night, when she felt like she would just mak it easy for those rogues to carry her away when she fainted from lack of energy.

Leon didnât even try to act polite, as he talked so disrespectfully toward her.
âTake good care of the queen, boys.â He nodded at the rogues, prompting them to take her away. âShow her a good time.â
The implication of his words was so demeaning, Abby felt her blood boil with rage.
She glared at them hatefully when Leon stepped aside to let the rogues enter, where they tried to jump onto her the next second.
âTouch me, and you will die!â She promised, looking exceptionally calm in the next second.
Abby clenched and unclenched her hands repeatedly, as if she was holding back from doing what she actually wanted to.
The screams and pleading Leon expected to hear from her were nowhere to be seen, after all, he witnessed firsthand how weak this girl was.
