Ch18: Join The Let's Hate Elliot Campaign

Day 89

"Do we need potatoes?" Elliot asks as we push the car through the aisles.

"Yes," I say grabbing a can of tomatoe sauce "I'm making some mashed potatoes."

"Fine," he shrugs "you can make mashed potatoes, but I can't make an apple salad."

"Apple salad is gross," I tell him making a disgusted face "and it was voted off the list when we were deciding what we wanted to eat."

"Because Noah and Jason hate me," he exclaims "I mean do you see the way they look at me."

"Can you blame them?" I ask rasing my eyebrow.

"No," he chuckles "although Jason seems to be less upset considering what I did."

"Don't even remind me," I laugh "Jason's still not talking to me very much."

"Why?"

"I guess he hates me," I shrug "maybe it's because I refuse to join the let's hate Elliot campaign and instead decide to date him."

"They have a campaing againts Elliot?" He asks pretending to be surprised.

"Yeah," I grin "I heard he punched the president of the campaign and ran off the vice-president from his friends apartment."

"He sounds like douche," Elliot jokes.

"He is," I say "but he also happens to be my boyfriend."

"Official boyfriend," he smiles.

After we decided to host friendsgiving Elliot asked me officially to be his girlfriend in the apartment. Nothing big or fancy, but it was nice.

"Yes official," I answer gabbing some potatoes and throwing them in a plastic bag.

"Is that everything?" he asks.

"Yeah," I say excitedly "we're ready to go home and cook."

I look at myself in the mirror appreciating my appearance.

I'm wearing a forest green, loose long sleeve dress that falls around three inches above my knee, some transparent black leggings and some high heel ankle boots. My hair is pinned up in a messy bun with curls cascading around my face. The make up I'm wearing is a soft natrual look with only light silver eyehadow and a matt dark red lipstick.

"I look good," I whisper reassuring myself.

Taking a deep breath I walk out of my room and make my way towards the kitchen. Everything is set up on the table so that as soon as Noah, Liz, an J arrive we can start having dinner.

"Lydia," Elliot calls my name and I turn around to face him. His dark brown hair is neatly brushed back and he's wearing a navy blue blazer with a white v-neck shirt under and some light jeans.

God, he looks hot.

"You...umm...look," I mumble trying to find my words "umm...good."

"Thank you," he smirks making his way towards me and as soon as he's in front of me he wraps his arms around my waist pulling me towards him. I close my eyes consumed by the wonderful smell surrounding him and as I open them I see him looking at me with that instense passion in his eyes.

He makes me want to melt when he looks at me like that.

"You look...," he smiles "I can't even find a word that seems good enough."

"Thank you," I blush "I didn't think this dress was going to work and maybe my boots made me look too tall."

"No," he shakes his head "you look perfect and it helps that your boots make you taller."

"Why?"

"Cause you don't need to stand on your tiptoes when I do this," he says placing his soft warm lips on mine and I inhale surprised. He smiles at my shock and pulls me closer deepening the kiss. I feel as though electricity is running through my entire body and I begin running my hands through his hair making him groan.

"God, I love you," he kisses me and I feel my heart skip a beat at the sound of his words.

I have to tell him.

"Elliot...I...I.." I begin saying in between kisses, but a knock on the door interrupts us.

"Lydia," I hear Liz yell and I roll my eyes.

Perfect timing.

"Don't worry," Elliot whispers in my ear a smirk on his face "we can continue later."

I feel my entire face turn red at his comment and he begins laughing.

"Not funny," I snap.

"You. Are. So. Cute." he says bitting his lip while he whipes the red lipstick off the edges of his mouth.

He's bitting his lip...

"Don't do that," I whisper looking straight at his mouth.

"Lyds," Noah yells.

"Coming," I yell back running to the restroom and fixing my smudged lipstick.

"My hairs all over the place," Elliot comments as he leans on the side of the restroom door.

"Fix it," I hand him a brush, but he doesn't grab it.

"I like it," he smriks "it gives a lot to talk about."

"Fix it," I roll my eyes running towards the front door and opening it.

"What took you so long?" Liz asks playfully frustrated "I thought you were never gonna open."

"I was finishing dinner," I lie allowing Liz, Noah, and Jason to come in.

"You look gorgeous," Noah says hugging me. He's wearing a light purple button up and some dark jeans with his hair messily combed to the side.

"Thank you," I smile "you look great too."

"Happy thanksgiving," Jason smiles also hugging me. J's wearing a simple black polo shirt, with some light jeans and his hair is neatly bushed forward.

"You too," I hug him back suprised.

"You look great," Liz comments sitting down on the couch.

"Look who's talking," I say smiling. She's wearing a simple short sleeved red dress with small neck cleavage that goes exactly above her knees and some black high heels with her hair in loose beachy curls.

"So are we eating?" Elliot asks coming out of my room, his hair once again neatly combed back.

"Yeah," I say sending him a thank you look and he seems to understand because he nods at me.

"Liz," Elliot smiles pretending to be in total shock "you look great."

"Thank you," she blushes and stands up to hug him.

I feel a pang of jealousy run through me, but I immediately dismiss it.

Elliot loves me and Liz is my best friend, I need to stop being silly.

"We should eat," Jason says taking his seat on the table.

"I'll take the turkey out of the oven," Elliot volunteers making his way towards the kitchen.

"I'll get the drink," Liz says following Elliot.

"I'll go-" I beging, but a knock on the door interrupts me.

"Did you invite someone else?" Noah asks me and I shake my head.

"No," I answer "did you guys?"

"I didn't," Liz shakes her head.

"Yeah we didn't either," Jason states.

"Open the door," Elliot says "that way we find out who it is."

"Yeah," I nod making my way towards the door. As soon as I open it my entire body freezes and I want to close it.

"Am I late for dinner?" She smriks.
