Ch23: Aria Stone
"Abrelle Louise," a man snarls.
"What are you doing here Dad?" Elliot asks.
I'd seen Mr. Kyle Stone before, but only in magazines never face to face. He's a tall man with broad shoulders and a straight almost intimidating posture. Elliot definitely got his good looks from his dad. Kyle has the same large dark brown eyes, small soft looking lips, and straight strong rigid facial features.
"I'm here to talk to her," he glares at me.
"Why me?" I ask a bit of panic in my voice and I mentally kick myself for showing fear.
"Leave the room Elliot," Kyle orders, but Elliot doesn't move.
"No," he answers and I turn to look at him. He has a look of so much hate and bitterness it sends a shiver down my back.
"No one is getting out of the room," I speak keeping my voice controlled and emotionless.
"I wasn't asking Elliot," Kyle scowls "leave the room."
Who does he think he is?
"Fine," Elliot nods, but I immediately grab his arm.
"No," I say "he's not leaving. Whatever you have to say to me you can say in front of Elliot or don't say anything at all."
"Who do you think you are," he growls "to boss me around."
"I'm the girl who's about to call the nurses so they can kick you out if you yell at me again," I reply bitterly. "Mr. Stone if you thought you could storm in here and talk to me as you please, you were definitely wrong. You will speak to me with respect or you will leave."
I hear Elliot chuckle and I turn to look over at him. He has an amused look on his face and it makes me want to smile, but I don't.
"You're defiantly something else Abrelle Louise," Mr. Stone smiles, a bitter cold smile. "I only have one thing to say to you."
"Go right ahead," I nod "I'm all ears."
"I will make sure that you never leave the bloody cell you deserve to be in," he speaks in a slow threatening tone. "Your mother deceived me saying that I was sending my son to a good place where he'd be taught how to stop behaving like a rampage teen. Instead I sent him to you, a dirty coward criminal who deserves to be locked away for the rest of their life."
"Are you done?" Elliot snarls.
"Look it wasn't my choice to take in your son," I answer politely "my mother blackmailed me into allowing him to live with me. If you want to take revenge on someone take revenge on her, I had nothing to do with any of it."
"I don't care," Mr. Stone smirks "I will do everything to keep you far away from my son."
"Why?" Elliot exclaims. "You do realize Abrelle and I are together so no matter what you do that's not going to change father."
Together?
He said we're together.
Has he forgiven me?
"What happened to Macy?" a new voice interjects walking into the room. It's a short skinny dark haired girl, with bright blue eyes, big lips, and glass-like facial features.
"I was never with Macy," Elliot says shaking his head glaring at the girl.
"Right," she chuckles "you didn't want to date her because you said mother was trying to control your life...blah, blah, blah."
"Mind your own business Aria," Elliot says in a low menacing voice that once again sends shivers down my spine. I've never heard Elliot talk to anyone the way he talks to his father and Aria.
"I'm sorry," I say "who is she?"
"Elliot's so rude," she smiles "my name is Aria Stone, I'm Elliot's younger sister."
Elliot has a sister?
"I see he hasn't talked about me," she states her voice going flat, but she quickly recovers. "He's always been one to deny his family."
"Aria shut up," Mr. Stone yells making jump in surprise and I feel a stab of pain in my lower abdomen causing me to groan.
"Are you okay?" Elliot immediately asks grabbing a hold of my hand and it makes my heart flutter.
"I'm fine," I say taking a deep breath "I just moved too roughly."
"It's time for both of you to leave," Elliot commands glaring at his family members.
"Who made you boss?" Aria asks, a smirk on her face.
"Hey," suddenly another person walks in, but I recognize his familiar voice. He immediately feels the tension in the room and stops walking. "What's going on?"
"Who are you?" Aria immediately beams at Noah.
"Noah Collins," he answers scratching the back of his head nervously.
"Aria we're leaving," Mr. Stone states walking out of room slamming door shut behind him.
"Okay," she rolls her eyes before turning her attention back at Noah "Ill see you around."
"Yeah," he say as she walks out of the room closing the door behind her.
"What just happened?" he asks, a big goofy smile on his face.
Oh, Noah.
***
"Wow," Noah nods "I believe you."
"You do?" I smile.
"Of course I do," he says "but it doesn't mean I'm not mad that you lied."
"I'm fine with you believing me," I state "at this point that's all I want."
"I belive you too," Elliot speaks and it makes me smile "but I'm also still mad at you for lying."
"Like I said I'm fine with you just believing me."
"Okay," Noah nods "I'm guessing you two want to be alone so I'm gonna go ahead and go home."
"Wait," I stop him "where are Jason and Liz?"
"They couldn't come," Noah looks at the ground and I feel sadness run through my entire body filling every inch of empty space.
"They don't want to see me," I whisper. "It's fine I totally understand why they'd be mad."
"Yeah," Noah nods before walking out of the room. I look over at Elliot and he seems to be in deep though.
"Are you okay?" I ask after a few minutes.
"My girlfriend just told me that her identity was a total lie," he looks at me "and my father is determined to keep her locked away in a cell."
"You said girlfriend."
"What?"
"You said girlfriend," I smile.
"I did," he nods. "I'm incredibly pissed off at you and I don't feel like kissing you for a good few weeks, but I'm not leaving you."
"That's good enough for me," I laugh, but it makes my abdomen hurt.
"Be careful," he growls.
"I-" I beging saying, but I'm interrupted by the door. A small thin women dressed in a tight black pencil skirt and a red button up walks in.
"Hello I am Ms. Halloway," she introduces herself. "I am the representative sent from the San Francisco jail to let you know that you will be transfered in a week. "
