It was a dream come true for 23 year old Rebecca Rose Carpenter. She was finally attending the 2013 CMA Awards, where she was nominated for 'New Artist of the Year' and has the opportunity to perform her song 'Now or Never'. Who would have thought that this beautiful girl, who normally dresses in comfortable clothes and wears glasses would have something like this happen to her? Perhaps Becca would meet the perfect Prince Charming tonight, who knows?!

After being interviewed on the red carpet, Becca headed inside the Bridgestone Arena to find her seat. While walking to her seat, she dropped her phone and bumped into a wall of pure muscle.
"Oh my, I'm so sorry. I should watch where I'm going, sir." Becca said as the man turned around and revealed himself to be Brantley Gilbert.
"It's alright, darling. I'm Brantley, nice to meet ya ma'am." Brantley said as he introduced himself to Becca
"Well, my name is Rebecca Rose Carpenter, but call me Becca Rose. It's nice to meet you. I absolutely love your music." Becca replied with a smile as both her and Brantley took their seats before the show started.
After Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood opened the show, and some awards were given, Becca was escorted backstage to get ready for her performance. Let's just say, be prepared to be blown away by her outfit.

"Ladies and Gentlemen, please welcome to the stage New Artist of the Year nominee Becca Rose!" The announcer said as Becca stepped up to the microphone to begin singing her song.

After finishing the song, Becca quickly headed back to get in her dress once again and then went back to her seat for the rest of the show. When the time came for the New Artist of the Year to be announced, Becca sat there in a bundle of nerves. She kept wringing her hands together in a nervous fashion. She looked over to her right side, to see Brantley sitting there looking over at her with a smile, and she gave a small smile in return before turning her head back towards the stage.
"And the CMA New Artist of the Year is...... Wow, give it up for Becca Rose!" Reba McEntire announced as Becca Rose with tears in her eyes and her hand over her mouth in shock as everyone gave a standing ovation while Becca walked up onto the stage to accept her award.
''Wow, umm... Thank you all so much for this beautiful honor. I first want to thank the Good Lord for blessing me with a good life, secondly to my friends and my label, who have helped me so much to make an amazing album, to the fans out there, thank you so much for taking a chance on a small town girl from the Coal Mining Region of Northeastern Pennsylvania who wanted to live her dream, and lastly I want to thank my family, who have not only been with me for a long time, but they mean the entire world to me. I love you all so much and God Bless You All!" Becca said as she finished her speech with tears in her eyes and bowed before being escorted for pictures and more interviews.
Shortly after being backstage, Becca checks the time and sees that is close to midnight. She was invited to a few after parties, but she declined to get some rest. Although, Becca did ask someone to deliver a note to Brantley, and they took it to him.

Brantley, I just wanted to formally apologize for bumping into to you. I was wondering if your not to busy in the next few days if you want to hang out or something. As Becca was being led to her car to head home, she looks around and swears that someone is watching her. She looks up towards the doors and sees Brantley standing there with a smile on his face. Becca sends one back before being helped into the car and heading off to go home, leaving her future Prince Charming behind and the man of her dreams.
So, this is my first ever story with Brantley Gilbert in it, so I want to thank @MissyDoe2017 and anyone else who has made stories that inspired me to bring my story to life. I love to mix my love of fairytales and music together, so this is how it came to mind!
