Chapter 24: 𝓣𝔀𝓮𝓷𝓽𝔂 𝓯𝓸𝓾𝓻

Midoriya didn't have the best sleep, he thought for sure being in the same room as someone he thought of as a brother.

He'd actually get some decent sleep, Shoto was pretty good at making him feel protected, even with out trying.

It was probably because he had such a serious face, but a comforting aura.

But nothing,

in fact because of Sero snoring, Izuku felt even more unsafe.

And the night mares didn't make any thing, any better.

He was half tempted to go back in his room but he didn't want to admit that he felt safer around Bakugo.

He wasn't gonna allow himself to get closer to the blonde, nope not anymore.

He was done with all blondes in fact.

"Morning Zuku."

A monotone voice spoke up.

Shoto.

"Morning Sho."

"How'd you sleep?"

The freckle teen asked, glancing over at Sero's clock.

Who fyi was passed the heck out.

It was already six in the morning, and Izuku still hasn't slept.

Maybe sleeping away from Katsuki wasn't the best idea, which only angered Midoriya more.

Why the fuck did he feel safer around someone who bullied him since they were kids!?

Great the voice was back.

How fantastic.

"Are you hungry?"

The half and half boy asked tilting his head a little to the left.

He noticed how zoned out the greenette seemed, not to mention the horrible bags under his emerald eyes.

He didn't sleep at all, but hopefully food will fuel some energy out of him.

Or at least get him tired enough, to take a nap.

"N-Not really. "

"How about you get some more sleep and I'll go down stairs and see if anything looks appetizing."

Midoriya lied, he just didn't want to keep Todoroki up any longer then he has.

It was obvious he wanted to go back to bed.

"Are you su-"

"Yep!"

"Just get some more sleep, I'll be alright. "

Izuku smiled softly at his friend, he was grateful for him.

Really grateful.

"Alright Zuku, good night. "

"Make sure sure to eat something. "

"Love ya."

"Love ya too sho!"

The greenette whispered yelled, before strolling out his room and down to the kitchen.

"Tch, I told ya we'll be back in a few days, I'll come v-visit you then."

Bakugo grumbled, as he pulled out a pot.

He was gonna make some oatmeal, just cause he was on vacation did not mean he had an excuse not to stay healthy.

At least that's what he mother was deciding to bark inside his head this fine morning.

"You better Katsuki, and you better be fucking exercising twice a day!"

Mitsuki growled through the speaker phone.

Katsuki figured everyone was asleep at this hour, so putting his mom on speaker wasn't the worst idea.

"Ka-Bakugo?"

Of course his childhood friend had to be awake!!

Ok, this is fine.

Mitsuki probably heard the freckle teen so she won't see anything more.

And this is his perfect chance to say good bye, and then he can cook Izuku breakfast and he'll be so happy that he'll kiss him!

And then he'd ask the greenette on a date, and they'll get married and have two perfect kids!

Wait what the hell!?

Bakugo shook his thoughts away, he really needed to stop coming to those ridiculous conclusions.

"I gotta go hag, someone's in here!"

Bakugo declared, not give his mother enough time to object.

"Morning nerd."

This was it.

Be nicer.

Change his nature, he wants to change.

For Izuku.

"I'm making breakfast for the both of us. "

The blonde growled, so much for being nice.....

"I'm not hun-"

"Try again nerd."

Bakugo interrupted, looking for measuring cups now.

"I'm not gonna eat Bakugo."

"Tch, why not?"

Midoriya rolled his eyes, before answering.

"It's none of your business."

"You don't care after all."

"Not about me."

"That's not true."

"I do care for you!"

Katsuki growled.

"Really?"

"I told you to stop being wishy washy, and whatcha you do?"

"Promise me you were gonna stay, and then the next day, "

"The very next day!"

"You decided you wanted to switch rooms!"

Izuku wasn't known for raising his voice out of anger.

He was pretty good at stay calm, but this whole situation pissed him off.

"Explain to me Bakugo, how can you change your mind so damn fa-"

Izuku paused his rant, he had heard sniffling.

He was sure of it.

What he wasn't sure of, if it came from his child hood friend?

The blonde was turned around, seeming to be staring at the pot of water, awaiting for it to boil.

But was he also trying to hide the fact that he was crying?

Was the big bad Pomeranian really crying over words that his childhood friend was spilling?

"Bakugo?"

"Are you crying?"

"Tch, fuck no!"

"Crying is stupid, I would never be that weak."

"I cry all the time. "

Izuku brought up with a dry laugh.

"Your an exception idiot."

Midoriya hummed at that response.

He knew what Bakugo really meant was that the blonde was the only one who was weak for crying.

Everyone else could cry all they want, but if Katsuki did then he was weak.

He was showing weakness.

"How'd you sleep?"

Katsuki asked, though considering the greenette was awake this early in the morning he already had an answer.

"Terrifically horrible. "

"You?"

"Same."

"Though that's usual."

"I think the only time I slept well was when you were next to me, that's fucking weird though right?"

Bakugo grumbled.

"Yep."

Izuku dead panned, though in truth the same goes for him.

Ever since the Almight incident, Izuku hadn't had a good night's rest.

But the other night after his bath, he slept like a baby in all honesty.

And he had been wondering if that was because of Katsuki?

"I'll be back in our room tonight though."

"I honestly don't wanna be around when Sero and Sho start making out. "

"Making o-"

"What!?"

"Tape dispenser and icy hot are finally together!?"

Katsuki whispered yelled turning around swiftly.

You could tell he had definitely been crying, with the redness under his eyes.

"Finally?"

"So Sero likes him too?"

"Wait so icy hot does like him back??"

"Jeez tape dispenser knows how take for ever."

Katsuki whispered under his breath.

"Hey!"

"Sho is gonna ask him out tonight!"

"That's why I'm moving back into our room. "

The ash blonde hadn't even fully realized, the fact that the red and white hair boy had a crush on Sero.

Which meant,

"Icy hot isn't in love with you?"

"Wha-"

"Pfff no of course not!"

"Hahaha you thought pfff hahaha you thought Sho liked me hahahaha omg Kacchan that's the most ridiculous thing I think I've heard from you ever!!"

Bakugo found himself frozen in place, he hadn't heard Izuku laugh in so long, and laughing because of him pshh not since they were kids.

"Tch, well he's always hugging on ya and he kissed your arms sooo.... I don't know I guess I fucking assumed.... "

"Whatever it was stupid."

"Relax Kacchan, me and Sho don't like each other in that way what so ever. "

"What me and Sho has is more of a..... brotherly relationship?"

"Yeah that's about right. "

"A brotherly relationship?"

Katsuki questioned, turning back around noticing the water had finally started to boil.

"Yep!"

"D-Do you wanna have one too?"
