Gauri's pov -
And the winner is Miss Gauri Bansal
The chief guest announced and i got up from my seat closing the button of my coat as my heels were enough to show them who them all who the actual boss is ..
"Thank you !" I thanked the chief guest bowing a little to show my gratitude .
"Please !" He said giving me space so that I could give my speech .
"Thank you everyone who supported me in this journey ! This year has not been the best at some points for me but still this year holds some great significance which I am sure i won't be able to forget for the rest of my life ! Even though this year might not be the best , the few people around me have made me happy and always made me feel loved !" I said looking at all of them but being very honest my eyes were only on one person because all of this was obviously about him and sakshi too .
"And my amazing sister Sakshi ! Who has been one of the greatest pillar of strength for me and i don't think that i would be here getting this award if it wouldn't have been for sakshi because the whole time that I was busy in my life she was the one who looked after everything ! So sakshi you are the actual winner of this award !" I said looking at sakshi and i knew that she was definitely overwhelmed and all the other reporters and the other ceo were probably thinking as to what has gotten into me because I can be many things but being sweet is definitely not one of them .
"And my hus- !" Before i could have said something else that little witch vani stood up and shouted .
"You don't deserve this award ! You weren't even there for most of the time so how can you be the best ceo ! A ceo should be attending rather than just acting like one ! Am i right miss gauri bansal ? " She said in that witchy tone of hers spitting venom by that venomous tongue of hers.
"Oh ! Should I take that as an insult because if you ask me i would say that it's an insult on you ! Because as you were saying that I was not attending so that makes me wonder if you were ! Because just think according to you I won this award even though I was not attending so just think what i would have done if i was actually attending but you couldn't do anything even after being attentive ! Am i right miss ?" I said and all the reporters started flashing their cameras and recording.
Vani sulked in defeat and sat back down and i smiled at her defeat and looked at aditya from the corner of my eyes who was as usual looking at me with those eyes filled with love ..
"And lastly thank you to my husband who at all points when i felt like giving up always gave me a new way to get up ! I couldn't be anymore thankful to have him in my life and to be honest if I started thanking him in words then my words would end but all his praises will still not be able to be put into words !"I said looking at him while my eyes never left his eyes which obviously troubled someone .
"And miss vani for your kind information it's Mrs gauri not miss !"I said and aditya smiled widely and i got off the stage with endless cameras pointed at me but I was still unbothered with all the flashes of the camera .
Aditya's pov -
"Aditya ! What did you do to gauri ? The last time she won all she had to say was a mere 'Thank you everyone ' and now that same woman is there on that stage giving a whole ass speech !"Sakshi asked and i chuckled .
"Even i don't know that ! I thought I was the one who was changed by her !" I said with my whole focus on gauri who was getting down the steps of the stage .
"Hello Mrs Ceo !" I said looking at her as she was now standing infront of me .
"Hello Mr Doctor!"She said trying to sound formal.
"Shall we leave or do you have a few more people you want to knock sense into !" I asked to which she smiled before replying.
"I think that was enough for today anyways people consider me rude !" She said and smiled.
"And the answer to your first question will be No ! And the reason will be because i want to roam around !" She said and I moved aside giving her space to walk ahead .
"After you madam !" I said and she walked ahead me and i looked at sakshi who was looking at us with a slightly disgusted face .
"What ?" I asked her .
"One - I now miss my husband because of you both and second - when did you become a Chaffeur ?" She asked.
"Shut up !" I said and left from there .
"No body listens to me ! Why did i expect that he will !" Sakshi said to herself sulking .
I made my way to the car and got inside and saw her in the passenger side and I got in inside the car too .
"Wow ! I see improvement ! It's the first time that you didn't fight with me to drive !" I said wearing the seatbelt.
"Yeah ! I thought about it but then remembered that no matter how much i try to convince you for it you are anyways going to say no ! So i thought of not wasting my energy on it !" She said looking at me also wearing her seatbelt .
"So where are we off to ?" I asked her .
"I don't know ! Probably anywhere where it's peaceful because otherwise i will get mad if i stay here for any more longer !" She said and i nodded.
"I think I know just the place !" I said and she leaned back on the seat and i started driving .
Not even an hour into the drive and gauri was already asleep and i didn't even try to wake her up because i know that the last night she couldn't sleep well because she was anxious about today .
I took her to the first place where we started bonding when it was raining and I took her to a place which was in a beautiful peaceful place .
We reached and i parked the car making sure that she didn't wake up .
I got down making the least amount of noise that i could and opened her side of the door and unbuckled her seatbelt picking her up in my arms and closing the door behind still trying to not wake her up .
I opened the house's door and took her inside to the room and laid her down on the bed taking off her coat because it would have made her feel hot and pulled the covers on her turning on the air conditioner .
I went ahead and changed into something more comfortable and also laid down beside her and hugged her from her waist to which she responded in a second by hugging me back because now it was kind of a habit of both of us to sleep in each other's embrace because it gave the amount of Comfort and warmth nothing could .
Gauri's pov -
I got up and found myself in his embrace i don't even remember when I fell asleep . I just remember being in the car with him but now I was in his other house . I tried getting out of his embrace but he pulled me in again .
"Don't go !" He said pulling me back again.
"I am not going anywhere!" I said hugging him back .
"No you are !" He said in his sleepy time making me confused.
"Where am I going ?" I asked him .
"You left in my dream to get water !" He said and i giggled at this man's cuteness.
"You are so cutee aditya !" I said .
"7 th time !" He said and i again arched my eyebrows in a confused expression.
"What ?" I asked .
"You called me sweet for the seventh time !" He said and i looked at him in aww .
"How can this muscular man transform into this cute little kid of this kind !" I thought
"Only for you !" He said leaving me confused again .
"Did he just hear my thoughts ?" I again thought to myself.
"Yes i heard your thoughts ! Because you are thinking so loud !" He said and i looked at him in disbelief.
"Did you know when you stay with some- !" Before he could have completed I got out of his embrace and stood up .
"I am not in a mood to listen to any more scientific explanations of yours !" I said leaving him there and all i could hear was him sulking and making sounds because I left him there .
