Gauri's pov -
I made my way downstairs and opened the window to go out and stand on the balcony because it was such a beautiful weather. I went outside and stood near the railing adoring the weather and the beautiful view .
When someone back hugged me and i obviously knew who it was .
His arms were lightly gripping my waist with this chin resting on my shoulder .
"That was not very nice of you to leave me alone there !" He said to which i chuckled .
"I did not leave you alone ! I just came out for a bit !" I said trying to state my case .
"Yeah ! Yeah ! Whatever but you still left me alone there !" He said and i chuckled at his actions .
"You are going to get punished for that !" He said and i became confused.
"What punish- ahh !" Before i could have asked him he picked me up from my waist and spun me .
"You idiot !" I said getting away from him when he left me but was still holding me so that I don't lose balance .
"You threw water on me the previous time i didn't listen to you ! So you can take this as a type of revenge !" He said and i gave him the coldest death glare possible .
"You should better start praying for your life because i am going to end you in the next few minutes !" I said and he left me getting a little far from me and then ran so I ran behind him and we didn't even realise when it started raining because we were busy acting like kids . He was running and i was running behind him trying to catch him .
The curtains were again and again coming in the way but still I was focused on catching him .
I stopped because he was no where to be found . He was just running ahead of me a few minutes ago but now he was no where to be found . Where could he have gone ? I thought and turned back to look for him only to be pulled to a corner which was fully covered by the curtains .
"So you are hiding here ?" I asked him .
"No ! I was just standing here so that i could pull you in here with me !" He said pulling me closer as that space was not very spacious and was a little compact and in a way invisible because the curtains covered it .
He pulle me more closer from my waist now leaving absolutely no place between both of us . I was heavily breathing even though both of us have been together from so long i still flutter at his words the same way ! The effect he has on me had never changed but has only grew more and more stronger .
My breath hitched with every passing second which now felt more like ages passing but he was not bothered by anything . He was busy looking in to my eyes and then his eyes looked down at my lips and that was the second i totally gave in .
I kissed him and his hold on my waist tightened . He was now holding me like his life depended on it . The kiss was soft , gentle yet passionate.
The sound of the rain made the moment ethereal but the sound of the rain had no effect on us because we were busy in something else . After sometime we pulled out breathing heavily due to the lack of oxygen.
"When I said 'punishment' you thought of something else ! Didn't you ?" He asked and he was actually correct the first thought that came to my mind was definitely something else .
"No !" I said lying straight at his face .
"Atleast learn how to lie !" He said still not leaving me and he turned me and now I was the one who was on the side of the wall and he caged me by putting one of his hands above my head and one still on my waist holding me and pressing my back on the wall .
He leaned forward and whispered in my ear ..
"If you want then I can make that first thought of you come true !" He said in his deep husky tone which always had that effect on me .
"What you think my answer will be ?" I asked him in a seductive tone but still trying to look innocent which i most definitely am not because reading books has already corrupted my mind .
"I know what your answer is gonna be but i still want to hear it from you !" He said and my hands made their to his neck .
"Make that thought of mine true !" I said in a low seducing voice .
"I never learnt to say no to anything you wish for !" He said picking me up and taking me upstairs.
( guys writing this much made me blush like an absolute idiot . Imagine the rest on your own ! 𥹠)
After sometime - At night ~ Aditya's pov -
Right now gauri was talking about somethings and i was paying full attention to it ! She could literally just blabber and i would still find it interesting as long as she is there .
"So after that she left !" She said completing herself to which i nodded .
"Are you even listening to what I am saying ?" She asked crossing her arms near her chest .
"I am but my whole focus in on you so it's looking like I am not paying attention !" I replied with my focus still on her .
"Get lost !" She said stomping her feet and leaving from there .
Gauri's pov -
I have never cooked in my entire life for anyone but here i am cooking for this man because i feel happy doing these things for him .
I was cooking when someone back hugged me .
He hugged me with his nose sniffing my vanilla perfume scent which sent shivers down my spine .
"Are you perhaps angry on me ?" He asked whispering in his usual husky tone.
"No i am not !" I said sauting the vegetables .
"Lying ! I see !" He said and i turned back and unknowingly the spatula turned causing a few drops of oil to splash on my hand .
"Ahh!" I hissed in pain and his expressions changed into a worried one .
"Are you fine ? Is hurting ? What can't you be more careful ! What if you have gotten severely hurt ?" He threw all those questions at me in the time when I was still trying to process that I had gotten hurt .
"Aditya ! It's not even hurting !" I said but he ignored my words and went and got toothpaste .
"Aditya ! Listen to me ! It's not even hurting me and it seems like you are the one who got hurt because I am not feeling any pain but you look like you are !" I said and looked up at me .
"Yeah ! You are the one who got hurt but it's me who's experiencing pain !" He said and i burst into laughter.
"What ?" He asked arching his eyebrows.
"Nothing i just thought you as a doctor would never say something that is not related to science so !" I said and he looked at me in disbelief but then also gave in and laughed with me .
"How's it and please don't lie this time okay ? Otherwise I will beat you up even though I am against animal abuse !" I said with a straight face trying to contain my laughter and he took a bite and then looked at me .
"What ? How's it ?" I asked him again .
"It's amazing and I am not lying !" He said and i looked at him with a sharp gaze .
"I am not lying here have a bite !" He said feeding me because I was not ready to believe that i could make food food .
"Not bad ! Yeah I cooked food and it's edible and moreover tasty ! This day should be written in records that too in golden bold letters !" I said and h smiled .
"You are so cute !" He said and i smiled at his words.
"I know !" I said flipping my hair making him smile widely .
"Now eat before it gets cold !" I said and we both ate talking about i don't know what but ..
Days felt like minutes with him , minutes felt like Seconds with him . Everytime when he would be around I would want everything to stop and just us living in peace .
When I told my mother that day when she came with the proposal of my marriage that I have everything i need to survive i talked about the things that were the necessities which i could buy with money but this is priceless. No matter how much i earn I still wouldn't be able to buy this feeling that i feel when i am around him .
Money can buy happiness but only by materialistic means . Money can never buy this feeling .
"Sweetheart ! Where are you lost ?" He asked .
"No where ! Just thinking about what life would have been if you wouldn't have been around !" I replied looking at him .
"So what answer did you find ?" He asked walking alongside me because right now we were out on a walk in this beautiful weather.
"Nothing ! I found that my life would have had no reason ! I don't know if i would have been alive if it wasn't for you after mom passed away !" I said and he looked at me .
"Gauri ! You think that you are alive because you find in me a reason to survive ! Right ?" He asked to which i nodded.
"No ! That's wrong ! Ever since the first day of our marriage your eyes told me everything i wanted to know but not the things you didn't want anyone to know ! You wanted someone whom you could seek comfort it , who could look after you and be there with you at both your highs and lows !" He said and i stopped on my steps also making him halt and turn back to look at me .
"What happened ?" He asked coming closer to me .
"But still what i wanted i found all of that in you ! The comfort, the warmth, the care and most importantly the love that i never got ! I don't have words to express how much i love you but I am gonna be forever be thankful to you !" I said and he came closer to me cupping my cheeks making me look straight into his eyes .
"You don't need to be thankful about anything because it's mutual ! You have no idea how much i love you !" He said making me smile .
"Now no more getting emotional okay ? We are here to get peace and happiness so let be it !" He said making me chuckle .
"I am feeling cold !" I said as because of the weather I was feeling a little cold and without even wasting a second he took of his jacket and put it on me .
"Won't you feel cold ?" I asked him .
"If you - !" Before he could have completed i completed his sentence.
"If i don't then you won't too ! Right ? It's gotten old now !" I said making him chuckle .
"So what should be the new one according to you ?" He asked chuckling.
"Let's share !" I said and he smiled widely.
"How did you know what was going on in my mind ?" He asked as i gave him space to fit in with me .
"Telepathy ! When you live with a person for long you tend to share thoughts with them !" I said making him shocked .
"This was exactly what I was thinking again !" He said .
"You read my thoughts in the morning and now I did ! So we are equal !" I said and he smiked before smiling .
"Yeah we are equal !" He said smiling and then we walked ahead .
Third person's pov -
That night they didn't even realise when time passed . No noise could cause interupptions between them because even if they were not communicating by words , their heart and eyes still spoke in their own verse..

Hehe just kidding there are two more chapters left and after that this book will be completed ! I am giving regular updates because i want to complete this book at the earliest ..
